Currently, that's the technique I'm familiar with, but I'm always eager to expand my skills. I'll definitely explore and share more collar treatments and neckband finishes as I learn new methods.

Thanks for this brilliant tutorial. Your videos are great for those of beginning our Passap journey. I made a mess of my first attempt!! Take 2 now...By the way I think at 6:30 you mean GX not CX.

Thank you for your feedback and for watching the tutorial! I appreciate your attention to detail. Your comment made me think. The reason why I didn't change the setting from CX to GX is that when the back lock is set to CX it will only knit when moved from left to right, and it will make a free pass the other way around. However, GX is a valid option too. Best of luck with your second attempt. I needed 3 tries until I got used to this technique.

Thanks for the detailed reply. Ha ha. I stopped and restarted this so many times I nearly know it off by heart! Re my comment about CX when you’re moving the carriage to the left after hanging the wire weights. Aren’t you talking about the reason the front carriage won’t knit? That’s my confusion. Sorry! Attempt 2 was great apart from one dropped stitch. Thanks for taking the time to make all these videos. They really are appreciated. I definitely need to get some slimline weights. The wire ones are neat.

You're very welcome! I'm glad to hear that your second attempt went well, despite the one dropped stitch. And thank you for clarifying your question about the CX setting. I should have shown the lock settings more explicitly. In the video, I set the front lock to GX after knitting the tubular rows. Also, if there are no needles in working position on the front bed, the machine won't knit despite the lock setting. I guess, this is what I thought when I was making the video, and this is probably the reason I haven't shown the front lock setting before moving the lock to the left.
