This film is remarkable: showing the craftsman weaving in real time, and illustrating where slits naturally occur at the junction of two colors, not to mention the elegant poise of the model wearing textiles that open the film. Its wonderfully conceived film, and its from 1933!
The art and craftsmanship are pretty amazing. I know a whole lot more about tapestry making than I did twenty minutes ago. I wouldn't last twenty minutes. Thanks for sharing. :)
Hold on a second…… Is this a fake? Or is this an originally dated film that is black and white and silent? Because if it is not dated you peoples are sad.
