I think that the 4060 isn't terrible like so many are quick to point out, just misunderstood. It's perfect for someone like me who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a GPU and is happy with playing new AAA games at 1080p, 60fps with the aid of DLSS, and some VR gaming at low-medium settings. This video concinced me to build a 4060+12400f system after many years of not having a gaming PC. They're stuffed inside a Fractal Design Pop Mini Silent and don't even come close to overheating despite the case's poor airflow thanks to the good power-efficiency of the components (and possibly because I live in the cold northern part of Sweden lol). Having a totally silent, small, stylish PC that sips power, can play any game I want with all the sharpness and smoothness I want and that only costs 8500SEK (800USD, parts are expensive here) makes me very happy. If I decide to buy one of those fancy secondhand 1440p QD-OLED gaming monitors in the near future I'll probably just upgrade to a 4070 Super or its 50 series equivalent, nothing crazy. I love this era of PC gaming 😁

I do not understand such hate towards 4060. For me it has really nice performance, low energy consumption and is not as expensive. Whenever somebody recommends another card in this price range (300-350€), it is usually similar in performance, sometimes better, but also more expensive and will cost me basicly twice as much to run. 8GB VRAM is not amazing but it is an average for it's price range. For arguments like: It cannot run AAA games on max in 1440p. Well first of all I don't mind lowering few settings a bit and in any case I can still use DLSS 3 which might help a bit. If you are a PRO gamer, hate it. But the truth is that most people, who like to play some games from time to time and don't care about minor details, do not care that the card cant take 1440p AAA games on super ultra max details. For me personally it is the best choice in GPU under 350€

With a Ryzen 5700g will you be able to achieve similar or better results?
Yes
Did you test Ryzen 5on stock cooler or other aio
I have an i7 11700f and 4060, CS 2 produces 170-220 fps on both ultra and low settings, besides, in online games like CS Battlefield 4060 never loads more than 60-70%, and in offline games like cyberpunk 92- 98% (the processor is always loaded at 30-50%), this is problem?
Did u find any solution? Other games runs like it should for me, i have an xeon 2680v4 and a rtx 4060, cs 2 runs about 170-230, in low or ultra
probably bottlenecking somewhere, maybe cpu power limit or memory bandwidth, but if its bc of memory, you would've noticed, cause it makes a lot of stuttering
So rtx 4060 with no DLSS it's less than Rx7600? I don't get it the point in depending aways on that technology and just wanna buy a good GPU 🥲
Nvidia gpus are made to be used w that technology
Qual programa usaste no bf 2042 fps
This is a Xbox overlay in Windows, press Windows key + G on keyboard to open.
what is this program name bro? i will make my gaming test
MSI Afterburner with RTSS
@@54fps thanks bro gg
Which one is better, ryzen 5600x or intel 12400?
5600x
depending on the game. Both are equal in Performance. On some games amd is slightly better on other intel.
Tek çekirdekte 12400f daha iyi ,Çoğu oyun tek çekirdeğe yüklenir Benim tercihim 12400
5600x uses less power, just bit slower than 12400
Real thanx for video, but... Gus, really, stop making ultra Benchmarks, compare them with high or mid so the 144hz monitor guys could see how much impact does lowering the unnecessary settings gives. But again, thanx 4 vid! Was struggling a lot between 1080 and 1440 + rtx 4060, now I see that I shouldn't give a hell and grab 1440.
PS: guys, how long will 4060 live in Ur opinion? Let's say for medium 1440 + dlss.
on medium settings? over 5 years, but it's difficult to be certain. What I can say is that the difference between running games on medium and ultra these days is massive, there are a lot of visual effects that didn't exist five or more years ago... so if you lower your settings to medium you should be good for a long time with a 3060 or 4060
Ryzen 7 5700G + 4060 Performs same as this ?
Yes
@@54fps Thanks Dude!!
What's the cpu that you use for this gpu
AMD Ryzen 5 5600x you can see in MSI overlay
thank you
I just ordered a rtx 4060 for my 5600x
It's okay setup you can run and play all games fine 1080p or 1440p with dlss + frame generation
what software are you recording with?
i'm with ryzen 7 5800x 4060ti 8gb and run games rly good what u think ?
It's okay
Its good to pair @ i5 12400?
Perfect❤🎉
thanks. please no more test with rtx and dlss 3.0.
we need clear rtx on
Agree and disagree.
While it will be good thing to see how 4060 performs without DLSS 3, on the other hand it is available feature that players can use so it is also nice to know what the card can do thanks to DLSS 3.
That's why I like comparisons where the show No RT, RT and No DLSS and then both RT and DLSS On.
Rtx 4060 with R5 7600 is a beast at 1080 p can play all games at max settings
Is it worth it to switch from a 2060 to this one?
yes
how did you get this fps in dead island 2 i have huge drop from 90 to 30 and sometime it stuck between 30 and 35 and my gpu usage is only 40% please help
Maybe you have weak gpu or maybe game update broke the game.
It was same in 4060 laptop?
No, desktop rtx 4060 is faster
can someone tell me all these game can run good/smooth i don't need full hd graphic or anything just normal in asus rog g16 3050?
no
Nope
Rt overdrive playable ? Input lag?
Playable yes, for input lag I didn't notice any. I am not a big fan of RT I like more fps then Graphics.
Did you overclock your gpu or it’s stock?
RTX4060 is clearly a 1080p card, even dlss can't save her from "stuttering" on 1440p!(fps low 1% - low 0.1%)😜 Why to buy this expensive Nvidia's garbage when at almost the same price you can get a RX6750 12gb with more than 20 to 30fps(a raw performance king for the price)on every game and a smooth 1440p experience!?😂🤣
Just bought a 4060ti 16gb very good for the price
wta, is it the cpu bottleneck?
In some games yes. Spider-man and Warzone.
rtx 4060 with i5 12400f good!
I think yes maybe in some games cpu bottleneck like call of duty warzone and spider-man
Benchmark program name pls
MSI Afterburner with Riva
the stuttering in most of these games are unbearable
Why 54 FPS?
Just a random name.

Rtx 4070 + ryzen 5 5600 have Bottleneck?
Yes in some games
Пожалуйста скажите как называется программа для мониторинга температуры компюторного железа
Msi afterburner olması lazım
El dlsss hace que esta grafica sea una buena opcion
How about rtx 4060 + intel core i5 13400F it is great combo?
yes
Yes, but i would recommend you to also consider ryzen 5 7600 since it is similar to 13400f but you get a cooler as well (in case that you cant spend more money on cpu cooler.
From my experience in my location:
13400f is around 225€ without a cooler
Ryzen 5 7600 is 235€ with a cooler
@@nobodyimportant1600you think that would perform better or worse then the cpu in this video ? that’s the exact specs i’m abt to be putting in my first pc build next week
@@ejschiller7787 yes, both 13400 and R5 7600 will perform better in most scenarios. But I would care about CPU that much only when you intend to play CPU intensive games like FiveM RP in my case
@@nobodyimportant1600i ended up getting the x version and it works great i play a lot of gta also

Maybe in some games like warzone...

skip the 4060 and buy 4060ti . worth the extra cash .

ark 1080p 40 fps with dlss and fg LOL.

Whats up with this alan wake game its so heavy
Personally I think dlss balanced at 1440p looks way better than dlss quality at 1080p. I wouldn't even bother using it at 1080p. Also it seems your slightly cpu limited in these tests
cool we have the same CPU too lol
How would this run on something like Roblox or Fortnite. And is this a good option for streaming
Nice video. Please Rust, thanks.
Impressive how ARK still bad optimized
