Even better, use reusable cotton cloths to use the restroom. It’s a lot safer than the chemical laden toilet paper. Also use reusable cotton cloth napkins.

This is why its always good to prep and have an emergency supply of food, water, necessities for times like this or even job loss, illness/death, financial difficulties, wild weather events and even SHTF events. You don't have to hoard and panic buy, you buy a few extra canned goods/products every time you shop and you put it aside, it doesn't take long to build up a nice little store of supplies and it doesn't break you financially either.

I used to pick-up paper products in Oregon and Washington when I drove a truck. Paper products are all trucked to U.S. markets. Consumers better hope there's no national truckers strike. That would dwarf this strike.

I bought a Costco pack because I know people are stupid and will hoard. I don't claim myself to be panic buying, more like not wanting to be inconvenienced like last time. For 3 months I had to use napkins and paper towels on my baby soft tender asshole because there were no toilet paper for 2 months. Nah, I am getting that soft stuff ahead of time, so save my anus from harsh paper friction. 😂😂😂😂

As American citizens we need to take a step back and not lose our heads. We do not need to panic buy. If you are in an area not affected by the hurricane you still have access to goods. Make sure you have some pantry staples. Our fellow citizens in NC and TN do not have access to basic supplies. We can outlast this strike and natural disaster if we think rationally.

The US is the fourth largest toilet paper exporting country. So, actually we will have more toilet paper inventory in the warehouses due to the port strike.

The ports are open on the west coast and a bulk of the items that come into the east coast are being diverted to the west coast.
Even if the prduct is made here, much of the raw materials in order to make goods are IMPORTED. The can of soup or vegetables you buy at the store for example. The food is processed here, the cans and labels made here, the food put in the cans here, but the metals for the can are imported from China. In reality most packaged products rely on foreign countries in some way to make it to the shelf.
And why would china a pacific nation ship all the way to the Atlantic to offload when the pacific ports( that are closer to china) are still open and unloading ships!!

The items going to be in short supply are short life span like some fruit and exotic vegetables may be impacted, but cannot be stored very long. How many bananas can a person eat in a week? Just showing how idiotic many people are. TP made in the US, water comes from different States which trucks bring them to stores. Look at what comes via ships to ports of entry. Look at what foods are imported from India, China etc. Some examples, rice, spices, cocoa, coffee. These are just some of the items you should be looking to stock up on. Do your research.
