I buy most of my wheels from EWheels. Why? Because of their selection, price, and perhaps most importantly, Jason's dedication to customer satisfaction and his ongoing support of the community. If the website doesn't list what you are looking for, give them a call. Use this link which lets them know that I've referred you: www.ewheels.co...
Ah, there you are. I sure do miss your woodworking videos. Anyway, glad to see you're alive and well.
Finally, someone in the EUC community has realized the benefits of a helmet-mounted light! I've been using this for cycling since . . . 1988. I recently bought a new one for my full-face EUC helmet - one designed for the cycling community - and it fits fine and works flawlessly, includes a rear light and has a properly focused beam. No need for half a dozen LED's if the lens is good. These things are especially good if another road user (car) doesn't see you. Shine the beam at them and shake your head 'no' and they notice.
Ahh! Velcro everything soulmate ❤️
Waiting for one of those rear view mirrors to finally arrive.
Wish Lumos will implement full helmet but love the Lumos Matrix.
Watch out for riding on dusty trails at night with the light on top. I mounted mine in the same spot on the same helmet and when the dust kicks up in front of you the light illuminates all of it and you loose all visibility, total white out, it's like being in a really heavy snow storm. Moving the mount to the chin solved that issue
Good point. I experienced this last night actually :-) Fortunately I rarely do trail riding at night.
That's a great tip!
I dont have helmet, i dont have bicycle or motorcycle, but i have that chinese headlamp since 2 years ago and still working very nice 😉😉 excellent video by the way! 😉 thumbs up! 😉
Thanks for the cool vids.
Couple things I want to do with my Bell Super Air Helmet
1) Remove the visor .. but I'm afraid to damage it
2) Make a custom UV face sheild that auto-tints
A Helmet lights is just as important as wrist guards, if you cant see a pot hole you cant avoid it, I went with a slightly more expensive option being the Lupine Bilka, which comes with a Bluetooth remote, allowing me to adjust light out in real time and safely. If you ride at night a helmet light is a must, and if you add a diffuser then the light wont be blinding to other road users.
Funny haha! When I saw Chooche's video last week I said that's for me. Ordered one. Also at the present moment I am putting on the spiked Teknika pedals for MSP HT from e wheels. Thanks for the recommendation. 😁👍
Great. And it's good to know that eWheels is actually selling those pedals because I still don't have a link for them
@@ElectricUnicycles I did mention your video recommendation . Jason said he will post.😉
@@wheeliam360 Thanks
Thank you for this headlamp recommendation. I purchased this headlamp, and its performance is amazing for such an affordable price. It is seriously challenging my $60 Nightcore HC60 which I have been using for the past four years (and highly recommend).
Can't beat the price. 👍
Hi Marty.
Well I’ve just purchased my Sherman after watching your amazing videos. 😀
I wonder if I could please ask what smart watch you use to link your wheel data?
Many thanks.
Richard
Congratulations :-) I use the Pebble watch in combination with the Android "EUC World" app. Fortunately EUC World now supports many modern smart watches. Visit their website to learn more: euc.world/
@@ElectricUnicycles cheers Marty, sorry just noticed that you had posted a video just about this subject. Cheers.
@@ElectricUnicycles Cheers Marty. I’ve done a bit more research and I think I can get a ‘Tic’ watch that works with the app and iPhone so I might treat my wife and I to one each for Christmas.
@@mrandmrswheels1142 Oh, you have Apple. That obviously restricts you to DarknessBot. I have no experience with that app but many people are happy with it.
@@ElectricUnicycles yes I’m Apple 🍏 😊
After seimg cooch old video I mounted it under the visor...I fell that it is the best place to be mounted.
That's where I'll probably mount it on my motorcycle helmet. But there's no room under the visor of this Bell helmet. There is a side benefit to mounting it on top. When you come to a stop in a group ride, you can flick it up so that the beam is pointing into the sky, and then you won't blind your fellow riders.
@@ElectricUnicycles i also have bell helmet(super dh)..it has room only that you have to flip up a little the visor.
@@omidel. I have the Bell Super Air R - the visor is fixed. No room to mount this under the visor.
Hi Marty. I did my knee and ankle in learing on my Myen3, very very painful. I went one the EUC went the other. Basically big twist if leg in wrong direction. 50.50 on weath I should keep going with it.
Sorry to hear that. Not sure what I can say. Most people are successful in learning but you have to be patient, as is the case with many things in life. Good luck.
@@ElectricUnicycles Thanks Marty. iv got swollen knee and ankle, nothing broken just internal bruising. I have no EUC riders where I am in Australia. So thanks for your reply. Feel better for talking to EUC rider, even if you are in the US.
Hah! Just bought the exact same headlight to install on my TSG PASS. I'll go for a chin mount.
Hey Marty..I set up my telegram account and set up the app but clicking on the link to join the group regarding group rides it says 'there is no Telegram account with this username'.. is there a way to join your group manually through the Telegram app alternately? (We met mid last year on a OneWheel/EUC group ride in LA but now I'm getting my first EUC (Gotway RS) I'd like to join more on euc rides too.. Thank you
I had to make the group private because of spam. Send me an e-mail and I'll send you the link. marty backe at gmail
@@ElectricUnicycles thanks.. Just emailed you
I will show you my light setup when I see you in 2 days...🙆♂️. I have “redundancy”...lol
Yes, there's a million ways to do anything, but I look forward to seeing your setup.
I can't believe you made this video?!!? you are always scolding people for blinding others with headlamp styled lights!!!
LOL Scolding might be a bit strong :-) I'm very cognizant of the potential to blind but discovered a great feature of this light. It has a pivot point in the front which allows you to adjust the angle. A quick flip with the hand sends the beam straight up into the sky. I was using this feature during a ride with some of the Tour guys last night.
