For anyone wondering about the glaring omission of the Birds, NASR is gonna be in SFL EU instead. For the other glaring omission of Nephew, it seems that Punk wanted to get him for his team, but Liquid refused (there is no rule that all the players should be sponsored by the SFL team and in fact almost half of these players have a different sponsor than their SFL team).
I hear ya. No birds is understandable but they should allow Nephew to be in.
Thank you, i was wondering about NASR AND Nephew
Finally an amazing team for the EU. I hope they'll shake things up a little.
"Mena you lost to Zhen three times in the recent tournaments, what should we do?" "We let Zhen fight in our side."

Godsent ❤
I know its US but wouldve been sick to see Randumb in this mix, also Elcho
for those wondering where the birds are
they are not participating in sfl US but in sfl EU.
The rosters look super exciting, can't wait 'till october
White Chocolate!!! I'm ded.
Yo, the JB team is crazy. I think they could take it if they find any consistency.
Yup cloud 9 is the young USA guns. I think they are contenders if the get hot
I feel like this team is gonna be fun to watch. But cannot see a way they will get any points except maybe against Punk's new team.
@@dramalexi ya they will be fun to watch I’ve seen Lexx and Noah go on crazy runs at offlines. Not sure if the whole team can sync up for a run
Omg I wonder if NASR gonna be in Europe street fighter league 😮😮😮
Yes Indeed
It makes more sense than having them in US league because they are from the Middle East.
@@Yggxiii That makes as much sense as them being in SFL US. The Middle East is in Asia, not in the US or EU.
@@comradetyrone2298I think the reason they were in the US before is because there was no SFL in Asia, only in Japan. So even Asians were part of the US SFL. Unless Capcom adds Asia to the SFL, then most likely, the players from the ME will play as part of the EU.
59:03 Mena's talk was so exciting! He talks as if everyone in this team is a hero with deep stories.
what the difference between:
america central west &
america mid west ?
Punk should have teamed up with Xiaohai
Somehow everyone forgot to pick Xiaohai.
I was looking for snake eyes
Where's Tasty Steve?? 😮
No idom, no filipino champ 😒
WHY NOT COMBINE WITH ALL TOP TIER....WHERE EVERY MONSTER GO?????WEIRD????
Fantastic preport.
Soo excited for this season.
Let's goooo!!!
No snake eyez !? Again
Snake Eyez isn't focused on competitive
No washed up player allowed.
@@Mephistobr SnakeEyez got 2nd place in his WW tournament last week.
Good luck getting Snake Eyez to come out of his house to compete. He's pretty much been an online warrior for years now and doesn't go to offline tournaments anymore with the exception of Capcom Cup last year since Capcom paid for everything.
Scrubby Du’s team with Mid Kevin should be called “The Bustahs.” JB’s team will probably be the most exciting to watch. But, Menas team will take the whole thing.
Of course this couldn’t go without the obligatory Capcom Fighters commentary ego stroking, as they’re desperate to be as popular as the players. It’s ridiculous at this point.
Tbf it’s justified, they’re really good. Without them it’s just watching replays
No birds is a step down 😢
I guess the Birds are gonna be in the european league then
We can’t have the same players every season but i hear you
Angry bird been injured for almost a year. He’s limited his travel. Hope he’s gets well. Such a genuine good guy
Probably doing EU
no nephew, no birds is crazy
birds are not participating in SFL US. but in SFL EU
@@coolesty where’s nephew?
@@B00glefop not sure tbh 🤷🏾♂
@@B00glefop Punk said on stream he wanted Nephew but Team Liquid wouldn't let him (since he would be playing under a FlyQuest branded team), so rip.
Guys, Bigbird said on twitter, that they are not going to SFLUS, instead they will play in SFLEU.
no XiaoHai? no more nervous drama part2?
i was hoping Xiaohai and Punk could team up 😭
The birds not being here is inconsequential. Neither angrybird nor bigbird are huge personalities charisma wise. Legendary players but dull personalities. The last season was predictable. It was always going to be Bandits vs Nassr. This season is wide open. Punk's, JB, Mena or Du's team can win. There is no clear favourite. The teams are better balanced and with Noah, Punk and the beef between Caba and Du the pop offs are going to be insane. The birds will not be missed. With the beef between Xiaohai and punk dead Noah and Du inject much needed trash talk into this event.
GOD damn this streetfighter league gonna be freaking crazy.. sucks not seeing IDOM again.
Yeah I wonder if he’s reluctant to participate since he’s missed a couple.
@@larryfocus i believe it's also a sponsor thing. I know last year it was his sponsor who blocked it.
Hopefully one day there is another new league, SFL- world / international ! Non US JAPAN EU SFL. so many talents outside the 3 regions. They can keep USA with USA players
This is still sick don't get me wrong but would it have killed them to expand from 6 to 8 teams. Sfl Japan keeps growing with more and more teams while only had 6 for the past decade, there're so many talented NA players that I don't think they'd have trouble constructing 2 more teams but i guess SFL us is just an after thought to Capcom in the grand scheme of things
Totally agree. Japan has 2 sets of 6 teams. US should have done the same or at least as you stated, increase it to 8 teams.
Yeah they clearly care for Japan league way more than the other two because they get by far the most views from japanese audience.
@@anna_medeia And its not even close. I was watching SFL JP in their JP channel and I glanced over the views it was like 70k, while the regular channel peaked maybe 3k. And this is only RUclips.
Ya sf6 in japan is way more popular than USA. Not sure if the lack of offline tournaments in USA is affecting popularity. I got accustomed to watching offline sf5 tournaments every couple weeks from 2017-2019
@@firstsecond3624 Not just that, SF6 has pretty much a monopoly in traditional fighting game market in Japan that even attracts big japanese streamers who usually stream some riot game or FPS like Counter Strike and blows Tekken 8 and Co. out of the water in terms of popularity to the point Japan also lost its dominance over many Anime fighters (especially Guilty Gear where USA are #1 now) since the greatest 2D players almost all play Street Fighter nowadays. The difference is way bigger compared to how it was between SF5 and Tekken 7 + anything else in Japan.
Team Bandits all day
"i dont know if id call noah articulate, but he talks a whole lot of trash" robtv with the goat quote
No Big Bird and Angry Bird? Too bad Xiaohai chose not to participate because he's been on fire lately winning EWC, placing 2nd at UFA, and just won CPT WW yesterday. Bandits would be the favorites if Xiaohai joined.
Ya I wanted to see xiaohai as well.
Where are the Birds!!? Also, Punk not picking up Nephew just seems out of place.
Thinking the same thing! It’s gonna be an odd year, but should still be fun.
@@JadeJackal4 i think its because Nephew is sponsored by team liquid. Since this time Punk’s team is under FlyQuest
Punk said that he tried to get Neph but can’t since he’s TL
@@HarimaKenji22That doesn't explain it. MenaRD already went to club Falcons but he is still in team Bandits with Caba.
@@tranlewlinign9592 team liquid (the org) just sucks lmao
Tbh the us kinda looking the strongest atm
Shine is gonna cook please watch
Absolutely loved the last season! It’s a shame that the birds aren’t around this time, and was optimistic about there being a Ryu main, but it’s still super stacked and I can’t wait for it to start! 🎉
23:52 Start of Team announcements
is good to see Punk and Noah nervousing each other and punch each other on the face
No.. xiaohai no birds no nephew ..sucks
where are the birds and nephew? 801 strider?
I hope Knuckle Du and Dual Kevin will win. But proabably it will be Bandits or Versus Vortex (now Fighint Spirit?)
No NASR this time around 😢
NO EVO CHAMP 2023 N SECOND PLACE EVO 2024??????WHAT???...WHAT HAPPEN??????
@@azmi8790 Their team which sponsors them is gonna be in EU SFL this year.
Boose wayne is 🔥
Noah ready to choke?
2 Kimberly's on Punk's team
Bandits is lookin nasty but I think Fighting Spirit might be clutch now that Oil King is finally playing Rashid.... Where the Birds tho?
these are pretty balanced unlike last year. punk probably the weakness team fighting spirit is probably the strongest.
This league still lookin right💪💪
guys where Birds omg..?!
never expected that team for Punk.. Nephew not with Punk was a shock but after last season I understand cus he never got to play.. hopefully shine and chris wont slaw out
WHERE IS NASIR? !!!!!!!
Playing in SFL EU this year.
oh God, enough of noah the burnout.
More Noah burnout plays
SFL should have 4 leagues by regions - Americas, EU, Japan, and East (or Asia). Unlike Japan or EU, SFL US has about 40% of players that are not Americans. They should change this to SFL Americas and just have players from the Americas (North, Central, South). There are players from LATAM that should be in SFL like Zangief Bolado, Crossover, and more. Capcom should add another team, SFL East (or Asia) that has players from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, ASEAN, and the Middle East. There's a lot of top players in this region to form a strong league. This is the only way to really know what region is the strongest.
The problem is that most players from Latam don't have Visa to go to US
@@victorsmilyborgesalmonte8418 True, and most of them don't have a good sponsor that can take care of travel, hotel and catering.
Midwestboxer should be mentioned over Brian F!
Surprised Mono is still there
38:51 "Booce Wayne" goes hard
