True of all master craftsmen and women, we can appreciate the skill, knowledge and experience even if the end product isn’t to our liking, we love to see the intricacies and techniques that are brought together. As you rightly say, incredible! 😀
watching Lee in his western denim shirt and jeans making sanding, carving, and shaping the boots by hands travels me "130 years." It does not get any more Americana oldschool craftmanship and passion than that! amazing job, Kirby and team on this full-length ASMR video!
Thank you very much dear people Kirby and Lee Miller for providing viewing satisfaction! A very atmospheric video, sometimes it seems that you are about to start smelling tools and materials, and your hands begin to feel like I'm working...
Something very relaxing to watch a craftsman at work.. Not rushing around all day. Making more of a difference in the world with just a steady purpose.. 😎
Not sure what is, but love watching and listening to a crafts people practicing his/her art. Wonderful to see them work to a level only time and experience in the craft has given them. While it’s sad to see some of them disappear, others have found new light to continue/evolve the craft. Thank you for the amazing video.
New to the channel (brought from custom hiking boots production video), but I loved, loved, loved these videos with Lee. Your knowledge, curiosity, vulnerability, and respect lead to such a great look into the craft. You choosing to honor his legacy and contributions to the craft in the folded tulip design was moving. I haven't even watched the final product video yet, but I just know you'll really value these boots and am looking forward to seeing them on your feet and hopefully similar videos! Earned many subs with this one I imagine!
I’m sure there are machines out there doing all these steps much faster and blah blah blah. But I know they don’t touch the craftsmanship that we see here. Well done sir!!!
It's a pleasure to see your content, the manufacturing process greatly relaxes me, even more so living in Mexico where hundreds of thousands are made daily, I love the approach, best regards.
at 8:32 FINALLY someone who lights a "burner" the right way, with a flint striker, NOT a gas lighter (the kind you set birthday cake candles alight with), or light a cigar!, those are Fine for that intended use, but an "alcohol stove/burner" used by gemmologists, Glass workers, and others, as well as metal welders using Acetylene / Oxygen Gas tanks these fuel sources can backfire causing a big blast, and in Acetylene/Oxy case, can blow up the entire shed or workshop!!
I'm not saying that there is no chance I will ever wear bespoke cowboy boots. But I think the the odds I'll win the lotto are a bit better. It is however, interesting to see how it's done.
Hi sir, I am 18 and don’t know exactly how to dress as I feel too young to wear a suit often but I’m also going to the gym and my physique is still changing so I don’t know if I should wear a sport coat or something like that, many thanks - Jules
That was Kirby I have a question my name is Jason a question is about their suit jackets how do you take them off and how do you take them off as I just would like for you chat with this chat with me on your computer so thanks
Honestly I’m almost certain after he retires his shop would need to find some ways to speed up the process, by a lot, if they don’t want their store shutting down. Lee Miller can make his customer wait due to his name, eventually that’s going to wane away. 5 years is too long your youth would be half gone before you get to wear them.
That is great, isn´t it? We got these true traditional masters, who create things in old way with their hands and yet most common people nowadays spend their fortune on big fashion brands, which are frauds. Hard to believe, but it is the truth. Well, smart people with heatlhy common sense will support true masters, whereas people who don´t mind being ripped off will support brands like Gucci, Armani, Versace and other scam selling terribly expensive stuff with no so good quality. I belong to the minority supporting smaller true masters, because I love myself, my money and want to help people, who strives for quality. Thank you Kirby for another video.
You don't have to like cowboy boots to appreciate this man's skill and dedication to boot making. Incredible!

This man is a craftsman at the finest level. It’s such a joy to see an artist at work.

This man knows what is doing, fine work.
Loving the small precision hand tools. Nothing like true craftsmanship 🤌🏽
Love the crunching sounds in this video

Incredible talent and loved this series tied with our friends on your dual suit order..thank you
Our pleasure!
A true craftsman in every sense of the word! It's truly mesmerizing to watch such skill at work using mostly manual techniques.
Loved this series of videos. Lee Miller is a master craftsman, absolutely superb skills. Bravo sir 👍🏻
Thanks for the detailed master class from colleagues in shoe craft! Watched with pleasure, thanks!
This is incredible. Loved the series, love this.

This is WILD. These had to have cost a fortune haha. Awesome vid Kirby
Amazing job, Lee!
I'm amazed he avoided stabbing himself with all the sharp equipment he used!
This guy got an A+ in his high school Woodshop, Metalshop, and Leathershop classes

Incredible.
Love your videos and work you should definitely do a gentalmens day out in Milan
Love this person.
And to get these resoled would be another 5 year wait again?
As I have stated before, I have no interest whhatsoever in cowboy boot. But looking at this craftsman is so soothing and satisfying!!!
Lemonwood pegs FTW!
Still waiting to hear an update on how the boots feel for ya. And how they compare to your other shoes.
Skills! 👏🏻

Plenty of top notch quality boot makers in El Paso. My guy has been making boots for 42 years.
freehands stiching wow I have trouble using the forks

Had no idea you were interested in professional wrestling!! My favorite is the ultimate warrior.
like for him just to teach out with me about the suit jackets how does he take them off so that's my question
That was Kirby I have a question my name is Jason a question is about their suit jackets how do you take them off and how do you take them off as I just would like for you chat with this chat with me on your computer so thanks
How do they feel Kirby after having them for the last several months??
Would be awsm to have descriptions in text what he is doing at that moment or why he is doing that :)
good idea to use just diegetic sound!
Love from India ❤️
Amazing craftsman!!!!
Cowboy boots with a bowler hat and a signet ring…a non-sequitur for Dallas.
How does he fit all them tacks in his mouth at one time
This dude lived in NY and watched a lot of westerns lol
Now all you need is Saddle and a horse and spurs those boots and your all set
After finishing one boot and then to realize there's two in total must be exhausting
Not if you love what you do!
@
I agree
Hopefully ASMR means there isnt a massive ad in the middle like usual
Sounds like nicholas cage lmao
These boots should not cost less than $2000-3000.
If I were guess I think they are 4000 since the shoe leather is ostrich.
It takes 5 yrs to get boots made from this guy after he takes your measurements? Yeesh.
With this waiting time customers should be charging him

Kirby is a revolution, slow but sure.
One day soon enough
