Of all the sticker tutorials I’ve followed, this is the first time I’ve seen your process which is incredibly effective. Thanks Calvin! (Would love to see a mushroom tutorial if you’re taking requests!!)
I don’t really have a comment. I just want to interact with you post for the algorithm gods. Other viewers who found this helpful, please comment on this video or reply to this post. He deserves growth and success
You are so kind! Thank you. Currently I'm trying to post very regularly because I read that will help. I will make a full length tutorial every Thursday. And.... I need to work on managing comments and replying sooner 😂
Thank you for another fantastic video, by the way - I would have also added a tiny bit if shadow under the thumb (falling on to the sticker) but this is an amazing tutorial regardless
Thanks for this tutorial…it’s exactly what I was looking for 👍🏻 And thanks for providing the background photos, also ☺️ Is there a way to create a sticker effect around a line of text since the letters are spaced?
I'm so glad! Thank you so much ☺️ for text, i would follow the video like until you have the white border made, but before i added the shadow under the sticker, i would paint on some white to extend the white area to wherever it seems practical ( for example, i would paint enough white to connect multiple words together onto one sticker). After that, i would continue with shadows and stuff. Does that make sense? I can make a short clip for you if you want to see it
@@calvinatdrifterstudio8438 Thanks so much for taking the time to reply 💕💕💕 I will try to follow the video and see how it works. It just occurred to me that I can decrease the tracking to make the letter closer together which might make it easier to create the sticker effect. If you have time to make a short clip that would be awesome 🌟🌟🌟
Inspirational! I created three beautiful backgrounds that this video inspired. Calvin, so you know how to correct this- I get very thick Gaussian blur because if I have thin long leaves and try to make pretty petite outline- it disappears around the long leaves 😢 thank you!
I have followed a lot of tutorials and i love your videos but i’ve just noticed that your settings are set to “Bileniar” rather than “Bicubic” - the latter will preserve the quality of the image you’re re-sizing/scaling/rotating much better than the first.
Love the tutorial. I make my outline in a similar way. I always learn something from your videos that help workflow. Love it. Are you planning any courses or have any courses? Love your teaching style.
Thank you so much. I've always wanted to do courses but i felt my quality hasn't really been good enough/ easily enough to produce, but I think at this point I could try it. Mostly I struggle with talking on camera but I think I'm comfortable with it now. I wanted to make a course about publishing coloring books soon 😁
@@calvinatdrifterstudio8438 honestly, I love your videos and really love your style of watercolors as it was my first real intro to watercolors. I get not being comfortable speaking on camera, I can’t even imagine lol but you would be great. Also, would love one on publishing coloring books. That is something I have been interested in so will be waiting to hear about this!
Hi Calvin, amazing work.. I have one request for you, can do a video about layers? I get confus all the time and it's frustrating, thanks

Hey Calvin, this background music is not bad at all! 🙂
Thank you 😊 I'm slowly growing a collection of songs from artlist that I'll try to use more of.

It’s weird after I put Gaussian blur , when I put the selection tool it doesn’t create borders.
