proof that good songs/basslines don't always need to be hard,complex or superfast
very true but I feel like it could of grooved harder and been spiced up a bit
Idk im a bit dissapointed, i thought it had a more interesting bass line
I mean the bassline is great for the song, and that in itself makes it a good baseline, but on it's own it's fine tbh. It doesn't stand out, but it doesn't have to. It's just a "good bassline" to me has to be good if you know what I mean.
Another great song which uses this concept is amy Winehouse back to black. Great bassline super groovy and you can throw what ever you like in

I could’ve sworn the G sharp and G like the ones starting at 0:18 were an octave lower on at least some of the verses or the choruses. I’m gonna have to go back and listen to the original now!

his hand / fingers are just dancing I guess 😂 ok no but fr though , i also wonder why he’s fretting like that too.
He is pressing and realising the strings. This is used to to make the note sound for a short time and improve the groove.
@@SuperIperMegaTriper I've actually done this exact trick on ukulele. I'm familiar with it at this point
