I love GW2. My only issue is running out of action bar space for my spells. Even with all bars activated I could use more. I tried using bartender to add a bar but like you said it broke it.
I love the addon, very clean. Just have a small request. When I accept a quest, is it possible to turn off the big interaction screen and just have the default quest box?
Makes me so sad that even in 2024, the inventory Clean Up button doesn't work (it makes it sort to the bottom of the bag and isn't fixable). Because man I love how the gw2 inventory looks, even more than Bagnon.
hey, nice video! I'm coming back to WOW and my addons all went kaput. what is the name of the addon you use for the top bar info : currency armour etc... Thank you
This is a fantastic UI for Classic era WoW, where there's not much going on info wise, or combat wise for that matter. But retail? No. This is a beautiful UI, but it has made astonishingly little progress since its inception outside of largely superficial changes. The biggest problem is that it doesn't mesh well if pretty much any other addon since this UI doesn't reskin popular addons to fit in with it. Big UI overhauls typically reskin most if not all of the major addons for consistency, like Elvui or RealUI. I don't mean just cosmetically. This UI runs into all sorts of problems with other addons installed. If all you do is run around the overworld do world quests and dailies, sure, go for it. But if you have higher aspirations, the UI is going to stunt you, as retail content is built around the assumption that you're using popular addons to track information. If you are using this UI, be prepared for this to be one of the only addons you have installed if you want to avoid headaches. Like I said, that's A-Ok for classic wow, but a ball and chain in retail. Another problem I ended up having was the action bars. They consume a lot of space no matter what you do with them. Then add in pet frames and the sort and it ends up just hogging most of your screen with "art". In GW2 this UI is perfection, but for some reason in WoW, it's off for some reason that I can't seem to pin down. Off in a way that makes it difficult to follow what's going on. If a UI that returns your attention back to the game world and not spreadsheets is what you're after, then you're better off with RealUI. It does it better without losing functionality. With GW2UI, you simply lose too much functionality and information for what you get.
@@antoinewallace1711 He's referring to gw2's ui having all of its important info at the edges of the screen, with no option to fix that error. It works in GW2 because of how slow everything is, how few skills you have, and how little information is required to succeed in the game. It just doesn't translate well into WoW.
@@SavantUncensored You can move every piece of the GW2 UI for WoW, except for the main action bar on the bottom. I've used this UI for the last two years in semi-hardcore raiding. Never had any issues with it for tanking/DPS. The information is not on the edges of the screen unless you just leave it there. If you're referring to GW2's own U.I in their game, then yes, it's not a great setup. I wouldn't say combat is slow in GW2 though.
This UI is actually really clean. I just started messing around with it and its pretty damn cool.
It's One of the things I really love about Guild wars 2 is the damn ui. So damn Clean ui.
Best UI I experienced so far

Looks real clean, just need more spell bars on the sides and a dmg meter!
They are there just hidden and only appear once mouseovered
You can just show 1 bag via bagone
joe mama
no thanks
Who the hell wants this anyways
Apparently not Shield anyway
first
GW2 probably has the worst UI of popular MMOs.
Its good for us melee folk. Wouldnt want to try a druid with this setup for sure!
This is the dumbest thing i've read in a long time lol... Gw2 UI is like mordern and wow's one is like 2000s lol
