    Thanks for posting. the rules seem very confusing

      They are actually quite simple and straight forward. Been thinking of creating a video about the basics.

      Of course! Its imcf 😆 always weird and confusing compared to BL/BI

      @@supremebrick4555 All organisations certainly have their challenges. I’m personally looking excitedly forward with IMCF/BI unification projects to get the best sides and aspects of all.

    what were the 2 dudes upset about around the 14:30 mark?

    • @SirLappis
      @SirLappis  2 месяца назад

      A fighter was not agreeing with marshal's decision that happened a bit earlier, escalated to shouting at marshals, and the other fighter tried to strongly advise him that this is not the way how disagreement with the marshalling decision should be handled. For example, you are not even allowed to stand up yet, and there is an appeal process.

    Doesn't seem like the weapons have much to do with it. 95% of hte takedowns are with body checks, tackles or sweeps.

    • @SirLappis
      @SirLappis  4 месяца назад +2

      That is correct. Mostly so. To certain extent, especially in powerplay situations, maybe that 10%, its about weapons.

    About how long does it take to start competing in tournaments? I've heard most people wait one year before buying their kit, then some months to another year before competing.

    • @SirLappis
      @SirLappis  4 месяца назад +1

      Depends completely on a person. Some have gone competing is weeks, some never will.

    So US tax payers are sending money there so they have time for this?

      ...or time for anything else free people would like to do if they did not need to, like all of these fighters have, spend time in the trenches.

      @@_edgardo_ My point is that as a 27 year retired combat veteran I never had time to screw around like that in a combat zone. US tax payers dollars are being wasted being sent to Ukraine. They are supposedly running low on man power but have time for this? Calling BS on it and you.

      @@Pussinboots-ll1om Basically the first step most often indeed is to get in contact with the nearest club. The people there have valuable information for how to start collecting the gear, and many clubs have loaner gear to try out the sport before spending any money - to know if the sport is for you or not before that.
