Short career sadly. I'm a huge steelers fan but watching this guy was nearly as exciting as watching Troy Polamalu too. He was definitely the enforcer of the LOB
Dude. For a guy who was built like a linebacker playing safety and renowned as a run stopper, he possessed some adequate coverage skills and ball hawking ability.
The fact we had Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor AND Earl Thomas working together, as well as Byron Maxwell and Jeremy Lane, was just amazing. We also had Bobby Wagner, KJ Wright, a young Bruce Irvin, then the best two edge rushers Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett. And we passed at the 1 to avoid becoming a dynasty.
The secondary was great but what made this team elite was the offensive and defensive line. Sadly when things are going really well those spots get the least attention. Manning was smothered because the line was in his face all day. Our offense was dominant on the ground with a legendary back and the highest paid offensive line in the league. They had to pay people and failed to really develop guys on the line that haven't left. No line. No run game. Qb scrambling for life. No d line. No pressure. Secondary looks like a joke.
@@swath5049 the offensive didn't help. Fun fact. Seattle hasn't past the divisional round since 2014. It's been a first round exit majority of the time
Rather than the Superbowl interception, I would have put the play when Demaryius Thomas caught his first pass across the middle. It was a bread and butter play for the Broncos, but in this case Kam laid the lumber, and Thomas landed about five yards back. Sure it was a gain of a couple yards, but from that point forward the Denver receivers were timid for fear of being slammed into next week. They completed an outrageous number of passes, but they were almost all short yardage efforts that netted them all of one touchdown.
#1- hit on Vernon Davis NFC championship #2- hit on Damarius Thomas Super Bowl #3- the other big hit on Vernon Davis #4- broken pass Wes Welker Super Bowl #5- interception Carolina Playoff #6- ball punch fumble against Detroit #7- interception Super Bowl #8- smashing O-linemen, making tackle Arizona #9- Pittsburgh interception #10- two blocked field goals Carolina playoffs
I was going to argue that your #2 should have been your #1, but then I saw what you had for #1, and thought...okay. I can live with that. But it could go either way. I miss seeing Kam on the field. Thanks for the video.
Was thinking the same. No.2 is my favorite NFL hit period, that man's soul left and never came back completely. Kam has to retire though, failed physical this year and the neck injury seems permanent.
@@ChaoWalkI agree. I love that hit so much that I didn't think any other could top it...I'd completely forgotten about him punching out that ball, and what an incredible play it was. I'll say it again--I miss watching him play.
Three letters H.O.F!!! The last of the true warriors of the Sport. Love this guy!! I have met and prayed with this young man. And he is even a better human being.
I don't feel the Legion gets enough credit for their intelligence. They were so dominant because of football IQ. They were brilliant minds with supreme athleticism. Much like the Ravens in their prime.
this is pretty far off imo. his picks were not what made him special. his punishment and intimidation made him dominant. when kap throws it to his numbers, its not his best play. setting the tone on damrius thomas in SB 48 is a great play
What do you mean? He wasn’t the best in coverage but look how many picks he has, that says something. He didn’t need to be amazing in coverage because of the role he played in the Seattle defense, he was more of the big hitter, aggressive strong safety while earl was flying from one end of the field to the other
once in a generation talent, He will be missed and always loved.
Kam really made CALVIN JOHNSON fumble on the 1 yard line, Kam really was one of the best safeties of the decade 100%

I miss Bam Bam Kam so damn much, him and Earl Thomas together were no match for 80% of offenses around the league during their tenure/s.
Speaking now in 2021...we Seahawks fans seriously didn't appreciate what we had in the LOB enough when we had it!!

my favorite defensive player of all time so sad he had to retire before his time 😣
How about jumping the line on PATs and FGs?!
and the panthers twice he jumped over the offence and blocked the FG's, I think this video maker doesn't watch the seahawks games.
The multiple flags on the Bam Bam Kam Slam on Vernon Davis is legendary!
Clean hit
Kam is and was the mixture between Troy Palumalu and ED Reed.....I wish he was still playing......
It was too bad he got injured
#2 was the most violent clean hit I've ever seen
Andrew Olive Tree Mixing yep. He knows how to do that good lmao
#1- hit on Vernon Davis NFC championship
#2- hit on Damarius Thomas Super Bowl
#3- the other big hit on Vernon Davis
#4- broken pass Wes Welker Super Bowl
#5- interception Carolina Playoff
#6- ball punch fumble against Detroit
#7- interception Super Bowl
#8- smashing O-linemen, making tackle Arizona
#9- Pittsburgh interception
#10- two blocked field goals Carolina playoffs
I dig your list better! Nicely done.
People tell scary stories about the boogeyman, the boogeyman tells scary stories about Kam Chancellor.
I bet anybody that clicked on this video just wanted to see absolute annihilation

The #1 was single greatest defensive play I have ever seen. Bam Bam!
Was at the game when Earl Thomas did the same thing against the L A rams. Good times
I’m sad that Kam retired
He had no choice. I'm happy hes retired or he can risk his life with a bad hit.
But don’t you want to see him play
Gjyste Gjolaj we already got a good amount of years (6/7)seeing him play and he was a very entertaining / good safety especially with the era of boom
Cccallen I just want to see him play more if he could I know he can’t but if he could then I would be happy
Gjyste Gjolaj same but u eventually get slow so it doesn’t really make as good as a safety as he waa
My favorite play is Super Bowl 2013 where Chancellor is covering Thomas, breaks off and slams down on Welker for the incompletion at 3rd Q 11:34.
number one was correct but my favorite is number 2
jslacson did that penalty stay?
Yep, but then Big Red blocks a short Akers FG and Sherm ran it back, the ultimate Ball Don't Lie
@@mykelbabs1 probably hit on defenseless reciever
I will miss Kam Chancellor.
I’m calling the pick six as number one.
I don't feel the Legion gets enough credit for their intelligence. They were so dominant because of football IQ. They were brilliant minds with supreme athleticism. Much like the Ravens in their prime.
Awwww Bam Bam😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Chancellor said he was inspired by Sean Taylor, of the Redskins. He felt he was playing for both him and Taylor.
Bro if Cam catches an INT and isn't taken down right away, I would not want to try to tackle him
Twelve man favorite player strong nice man...your the best twelves man still love you thank you✌🤙
Play number 2 - why were there flags thrown? Dont tell me chancelor hit him too hard
At the moment, the refs thought it was an illegal hit. The NFL later said it was clean.
Clean hit
Only one thing missing, his hit Olin the super bowl on dermaryous Thomas(I deff spelt that wrong)
Kam was next Troy Palumalu
Former Virginia Tech Hokies Strong Safety 6'3 220lb. Kam Chancellor a Hard-Hitting NO NON-SENSE type of Safety!!!
omg that last one was a nail biting game!!!
Could easily make a top 20 list, several plays earlier in his career in 2011.
My favourite is the 4
this is pretty far off imo. his picks were not what made him special. his punishment and intimidation made him dominant. when kap throws it to his numbers, its not his best play. setting the tone on damrius thomas in SB 48 is a great play
I like 2
World best video dear friend the quality of your video also good and your really nice thanks
That Slapper in the beginning tho!
Bam! Bam!
Kama
I mean kam
Newton is really shit he had that one good year and got famous
Wentz too
Love Kam, but how can #6 be considered a top 10 play? They ball was thrown off target right square in Kam's hands.
Just being there and knowing the play I guess
Superbowl is your answer
Who killed my puppy?
HITSSS
Haven't watched since the NFL got political. Glad the legion of boom and the super bowl win was before that
Wheres the play where be knocked back 3 linemen on their wallets to get ansack
I mean kam
wheres his hit on vernon in the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME? take out one of the first 2 plays
Ryan Bullas it's in the video what do you mean?
no its not
Henry I think he is talking about the hit when Vernor was running across the middle and Kam Chancellor hit him
You know the play against the lions was illegal good play by kam but the tip out of bounds posed to been lions ball from the 1
This is upsetting, Kam’s best plays were mostly run stoppers. His coverage is mediocre.
What do you mean? He wasn’t the best in coverage but look how many picks he has, that says something. He was really great in coverage he chose to hit them instead of picking the ball most of the time.
🧢
Kama chancellor would not be a good corner
Ashley Alsbrook Yeah and Tom Brady wouldn’t be a good running back... LOL
I have no respect for the nfl, players, owners, sponsors at all, shameful people, all!
Mike Malone ...who give a fuck bout what u think ...dipshit
Single dumbest comment ever
Mike Malone except saints.
Why are you here then
