Honestly, you had a hard job. Choosing ten of the best of Russell Wilson plays when he has at least one every game he plays that leaves me scratching my head. Like how the hell did he do it? DangerRuss Wilson. Man what a great guy...
Great song choice because you better “Stay Woke” dealing with Russell Wilson. He is phenomenally incredible. He’ll be a first ballet hall of famer after he retires that’s for sure. He’s the best and most accurate on the run, under pressure, going backwards, off the wrong hand, you name it passers I’ve ever seen. What would be disastrous for every other quarterback turns into 35 - 50 + yard pass or run plays from Russell Wilson. Only Aaron Rodgers can throw as accurately as Russell Wilson on the move. Because of normally never having an offensive line Russell Wilson has been literally Houdini out there on every play. If he had the same Offensive lines as some of these other quarterbacks that would get sacked if a player was within 5 yards of them.....his numbers would be even more off the charts.....yet he’s still arguably the best quarterback in pro football. There’s only 2 other quarterbacks I’d even entertain letting you say is better in the NFL....other than that you would be being a homer. In a NBA sense Russell Wilson reminds me of KOBE BRYANT. That relentless will to win, no matter what the circumstances he still fights till the end, and KOBE was the best “BAD SHOT” maker ever, through triple teams, falling out of bounds, fadeaways on threes, I mean just unbelievable shots KOBE would make. Some of those throws Russell Wilson makes are almost not humanly possible and to be that accurate. I enjoy watching the Seahawks play. Very entertaining team. Seattle drafted a great one in Russell Wilson, enjoy this because he’ll bring more championships. Our beloved KOBE BRYANT recently retired and it’s just amazing thinking about how great KOBE was. He score 60 on his last game. Just ridiculous. Russell Wilson is a great one indeed.
So many highlights of Jermaine kerse. Yet never heard from him after he left Seattle. That's when you know you got a franchise great Qb. When your qb is out here creating careers and contracts.
That camera angle on play number 2, really gives perspective on how fast and agile Russel is, the amount of movement and time you have to get out of those tackles are insane.
I am blessed to have been born in Washington (and therefore a seahawks fan) as I have seen a lot of this future hall of famers games. Russell Wilson is the best quarterback in the league and has been for years. He truly believes he can win every single game and he tries so fucking hard to make it come true every single Sunday.
the cool thing about #1 is it kinda makes up for the wacky touchdown call made in 2012 with golden tate. nobody can say anything about #1. It was one of the seahawk' "pedestrian" wide receivers catching a go ahead touchdown in OT to send them to the superbowl.
Could add a few more to this list since this was made: 4th down bomb to Brown for the TD vs the Panthers (Nov 25-2018), the toss to Lockett at the corner of the end zone vs the Rams on TNF 2019, 4th down bomb to Kearse vs the 49ers (2014 NFC Championship Game), etc. The list can go on and on and...
I was there for #1 what a rush. Down all game, half the stadium emptied. Fucking pouring down rain. What a game. Fucking insane. Then I had to drive back down to PDX and fly out to texas the next morning. Couldn't even talk. Most expensive ticket I ever bought and thought it was wasted.
The music fits so well at moment number four. The commentary, his plays, him with closed eyes being hugged by his teammate, the afterward gestures to god, and all of this happening as delightful tunes play in the background. They blend together to form satisfying. "He's not the fastest, he's not the biggest, he doesn't have the best arm...."
Everyone wants to judge Russel Wilson and the seahawks because of the way superbowl 49 ended, but you know what, the fact that they have made the playoffs for 6 consecutive years with this guy, two of those years back to back superbowls is pretty fucking amazing. I love people who try to sleep on the Seahawks like Eagles fans did this 2017 season in week 13 and the hawks whooped the Eagles ass 24-10 or in 2016 when the Patriots fans slept on Seattle coming to Gilette stadium and the Hawks beat them 31-24, DO NOT EVER SLEEP ON THIS TEAM. They are much stronger than you think, sure beastmode is gone, but the defense is still sharp as pin and Russel wilson is smooth as hell. Yeah sometimes things don't workout for the seahawks, but this is definitely NOT the team you want to underestimate. Now that Blair Walsh is gone, and the whole coaching staff has been fired and redone, you better watch out for the returning 2018 Seahawks, these are some dangerous motherfuckers. Not to mention how many pro bowlers are on this team, is pretty dope.
aye lmao no sherman, no maxwell, no shead, no lane. Clean house at CB. No Bennett anymore. O line still ass. No Sheldon Richardson, no Paul Richardson. Russell Wilson probably carries the team to 9-7 again. against their best interests as well
You doubt too much, I let actions speak for themself. You can doubt all you want, but we gonna see what those scoreboards look like when the season happens.
Yes, they cut alot of star players, but the seahawks are not done rebuilding, there are still plenty of free agents on the market, and the Seahawks have alot of good spots in the draft, plus the free agents they can sign after the draft. I will determine how bad the roster looks a few days before preseason
As a true Seahawk fan, this a great video, but whoever put this together totally missed the mark if this is supposed to be Russell's best 10 of his career. Go Hawks!
Hey Rob my name is Tim I'm from Seattle been a Seahawk fan ever since the beginning 7677 season I'm on RUclips a lot and I don't know how to friend a person but if you want to talk Seahawks football I'd be more than happy to maybe just reply to this message if I could have afforded season tickets I would have in a heartbeat and I remember when they demolish the King Dome I miss that old place great atmosphere for football and of course you Largent yeah yeah yeah
1:12 Yeah some goal line fade to doug Baldwin against MIA is a greater play than his game winner to Sydney rice against New England in his rookie year lolol
"Top ten" plays up to 2017. He's added at least twenty or more top ten plays since then. Let's wait until his career is finished, then we can make a top 100 plays list, from, "The Magician".
Some of these might be his best plays. Sure the td throw to kearse was huge, but hardly one of his stellar displays of magic. Where was the 3rd down pass against AZ from 2013, when we led 17-14, and he was inches from the ground, but still managed to fling it to Zach Miller and get a 1st down keeping the drive alive? Where was the two point Hail Mary he threw in the NFCCG? How about either one of the spinning out of sure sacks to fling it to Doug Baldwin right on the side line against Carolina. Nothing from the 49ers? What about 4th and 3 and he hits Moore for a TD against Carolina? The 4th down td to DK against Minnesota?
On July 2, 2019, NFL.com analyst Elliott Harrison ranked the top-25 QB’s in NFL history (their overall NFL history rankings in parentheses). He ranked (#18) Russell Wilson as the 4th best active QB - behind (#1) Tom Brady, (#6) Drew Brees and (#10) Aaron Rodgers, and a notch above (#19) Ben Rothlisberger. Understandably, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, Matt Ryan, and Phillip Rivers failed to make the top-25 all-time. *Check out these stats* NFL Research maven Jack Andrade found that, since Next Gen Stats began tracking comprehensive passing stats in 2016, Russell Wilson leads all QBs in passing yards outside of the tackle box (2,122) and passing yards while on the run (2,087). He also leads the league in TD passes on tight-window throws (22) and deep completions (32), which are categorized as throws that travel 20 air yards or more. Yet, offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer stupidly kept running the ball in a very winnable wild card game against Dallas in 2018-19.
I am Seahawks fan but I am not kidding myself like most of Seahawks fans - period! There is absolutely no way Seahawks will ever win Super-ball again with this couch who let most of great players (especially former GREAT defense team) to satisfy Wilson GREEDNESS! So it is no surprise that Seahawks defense now # 27 in the NFL!!! and Offense "lead' by greedy multi millionaire Wilson who got almost HALF of the whole team money (one who lied to all Seahawks fans that "it is not about money" and got the highest NFL contact of $140 millions!) is not doing much better.... Wilson losing ball almost more than any QB in the NFL (last year # 3 in sacks!!!) because very often he has no clue what to do with the ball. For the last 4-5 season Seahawks become just an average team - even this season they lost last 6 out of 8 games that were Crucial to the team but for Wilson and couch as always it is no problem at all - they always say "next season" without ever trying to analyze why we lost 6 out of 8 last games , why our defense is only # 27 and offense if average only 2 touchdowns a game!!!! Is that the numbers a GOOD team should produce? I don't think so read my lips (like I am saying for the last at least 4 seasons) We will never ever win Superball with this Greedy QB and this couch that makes Wilson a favorite and who no one in the team afraid to criticize because his friend couch will fire this player right away.... Don't believe me? Look at the next season and I promise you it will be "the same old the same old" for the great team Seahawks!!! Go Hawks! - not Wilson and this couch...
Where was the play against the cardinals from two years ago where he ran around for about 10 seconds and then hit Baldwin or the play against the 49ers in the first NFC championship when he hit kearse when he got em to jump on a cadence count??
Future GOAT, phenom. He's a baller, and super durable, never says quit or whines, ever. He has all of intangibles. No excuses QB that puts it all out there every chance he gets. Wilson has the highest QB IQ ever imho.
Warchief Thrall, but only he could have ran the 2 minute drill in the biggest game against the best team. Brady and wentz couldn't have done that. And Brady and wentz couldn't be the sole carrier of the team due to injuries and free agency. And also, only Russell would take full responsibility for the most heartbreaking loss of the year, even if it wasn't all his fault. ( and btw, Russ has an incredible QB iq. )
#5 is my personal favorite. maybe even all time favorite quarterback play alltogether. completely unblocked guy comes through the center, the moment wilson takes the snap he already has to run for his life, 15 yards back, has to stiff arm a guy just to get out of the pocket, and rolling to his left, almost going backwards still, throws a 35 yard strike down the sideline for a completion. get outta here. thats like the aaron rodgers throw in last years divisional round against the cowboys, only with defensive linemen in his face the whole play. ridiculous.
Former NC State Wolfpack/Wisconsin Badgers Quarterback Elusive, Evasive and is a Prototype of Former Purdue Boilermakers and Current New Orleans Saints Quarterback who threw for 5,000 Passing Yards for 9 Seasons Drew Brees!!!!!!!
Oh man, seeing these makes me think they should sign Kearse to a 1-year deal. I believe he's available. He and Wilson were magical - Schneider or Carroll should watch this for a memory jog, and hopefully they'd say yeah let's do this.
Yup. Missed plays include the 4th and 7 TD in the 2013 NFCCG vs San Fran, the wacky scramble vs Arizona and throw to Doug Baldwin, the 2-point conversion in the 2014 NFCCG vs Green Bay, and of course, the "Wail Mary" TD vs Green Bay on Monday night. "Wail", not "Fail", because it was a legit CATCH, which is why replay didn't overturn it, and Packer fans WAILed about it for years. One more: The 50-yard TD Wilson tossed on Monday night vs the Patriots in his rookie year, the "U Mad Bro?" game. See it here: ruclips.net/video/r9vvMr_QUEs/видео.html
Russel Wilson will go down as a hall of famer best believe it
The Dopamine been a hofer🤣
The Dopamine easy!!!
That isn't a hot take. . .he is a borderline HOFer if he retires today. But be can still play for 8-10 years easy. Unbelievable
Oh he will a hundred percent
Ya but everyone gets in
Still get chills every time I watch that play from the NFC Championship Game against the Packers!

Definitely not
Yes, yes he is
@@jackkuhn6748 idiot. he’s one of the best qbs lmao

Kearse was a major driving force, i wish seattle kept him
I used to call that guy brick hands. He dropped so many passes. Him and Jimmy Grahm.

Great video. Kearse on the end of a lot of those plays. He will be missed.
In an alternate universe we would give 3 picks for 2 good Offensive linemen. Sheldon can stay in NY/NJ , Wilson deserves an apt Oline
Russ has always been underrated!!!

TRUE

Can not believe the TD to Kearse on 4th and 3 in the NFC Championship against SF was not in this
he could have the three best defensive players blitzing and still find a way to get a 20 yard pass, dont know how he does it.

1:21-1:27 Great job as usual Danno, last play of the year don't hold anything back.............
This makes me miss Kearse...😪
Never understood letting him go. He seemed to always make the big play when most needed.
His career isn't even over!!!
Doesn't have the best arm?u are wayyyyyy underestimating his throwing arm.we in Seattle KNOW the power in that arm...
Awesom QB, Seahawks for life.
3:32 “he doesn’t have the best arm” 😑
RW has a passing "touch" like few possess. That was funny to hear. What's amazing is this is something he does repeatedly.
Patrick Mahomes might have the best arm
Remember, that play happened several years ago before Wilson established himself as a top 5 NFL QB
that's my boy Wilson
Russell is arguably the best qb in nfl right now
Hunter Niemi the best.
Andrew Brophy only arguable among Tom Brady fans. in everything else, he is
Hunter Niemi excluding Tom Brady the two best are Russel and Wentz

@@nflreel6700 also how the hell can you put the Minnesota play at #7, that's one of the best plays he has ever pulled off
@@garrisonfrazer53 my thoughts exactly !!!
There was only two top 10 Russell Wilson plays in his career on this list lol. You must not have seen much Russell Wilson
Please relabel "10 Plays of Career" This isn't close to the top 10. The music doesn't fit at all either. Fail
To, Childish Gambino and even Cee Lo Green (Childish Gambino) Remix and Childish Gambino (Cee Lo Green Remix) is MY JAM!!!!
