Notice how absolutely awe struck all the commentators are. And behind the hate of all the doubters, they are amazed as well. Russell Wilson will one day become one of the greatest to play the game.
marioscoolFTW : He already is. That’s why some people don’t like him. And the voters are low-key snubbing him for MVP repeatedly to protect Brady’s and Rodgers’ legacies. They know Russ is a legitimate threat to those legacies. They even snubbed him for Pro Bowl in 2018, when it was the second consecutive year he led the league in TD’s. Aaron Rodgers went to the Pro Bowl despite going 0-8 on the road and losing more games in his own division than Russ did. That’s right! Russ, who plays in the NFC West, won more games in the NFC North (2) than Rodgers did (1) in his own division. That is astounding, because Rodgers gets 6 games in his own division. It’s even more astounding considering that the Seahawks were projected to miss the 2018 playoffs - I don’t know why. The system is being rigged against Wilson to protect the white QB’s. Everybody keeps acting like it’s a law that Brady and Rodgers are #1 & #2, regardless of how the QB’s perform. They also keep acting like Wilson must wait his turn to be called #1. Well, he’s #1 now, and he has been for a good four years now! The analysts and experts won’t admit it until Rodgers and Brady are either gone, or so old and poorly performing that it won’t matter.... Anything to protect the myth that white men play the QB position better than blacks.
Bro I don’t think it has anything to do with skin color. It’s all about media hype, people don’t want to hype up Russell because a lot of people feel like he’s “fake” and can’t stand his positive personality. He’s also very religious which the NFL doesn’t really like. Mahomes on the other hand is in many commercials, has a “normal” football personality and doesn’t do anything that people can view as being controversial. It doesn’t have anything to do with skin color, look at Lamar, Vick and Mahomes who get so much recognition.
Mayer Amschel Rothschild : You don’t see the difference between Russ and every other QB (including black QB’s) do you? RUSS IS THE FIRST DOMINANT UNDERSIZED BLACK QB! That means you can not compare him to McNabb, Moon, McNair and the others. He’s different. His comparators are/were Brees and Luck! RG3 was a different breed, as was Colin Kaepernick. Russ has conquered a plateau that no black QB has ever conquered. Sure, the league began to accept black QB’s in the 1980’s - not wholesale, but I digress - abd as long as they weren’t winning a ton of Super Bowls they weren’t threats to the legacies of white QB’s. Not only did arias come into the league as a 3rd rounder and make fools out of every GM and scout, he almost took the Seahawks to a Super Bowl as a true rookie. But here’s the real problem they gave with Russ. As long as all of the undersized QB’s were white, people could hold onto that as proof that white QB’s were smarter than black ones. After all, undersized QB’s have to be of exceptional intelligence to play the QB position at the highest level. Think about it: Jurgenson Tarkington Staubach Flutie Brees All undersized, and all white! Wilson came along and took on the last frontier, and removed any remaining argument that white QB’s were smarter than black ones. That, and their desire to protect Andrew Luck as the future of the NFL motivated commentators to lie, downplay Wilson’s talent, underrated him, and basically dismiss any evidence of his all-time-greatness until it was just impossible for them to do anymore. When Kyler Murray wins his first Super a Bowl, you will see a lot of media attention given to his Asian mother, which raises another point! Tommy Chang (University of Hawaii) was dismissed without a second though as a QB who had absolutely zero chance of success in the NFL. It’s easy for people who don’t live with racism every day to dismiss racism as motivation, but race is at the heart of the way Russ was treated early in his career. I also believe that a few people knew how good he was and didn’t like it. They’re more accepting of Mahomes because he’s closer to white. His mother IS white, as is his fiancé! Mahomes is viewed as a white man with a black father. Russ is darker skinned, has two black parents, and is married to a black woman. Notice that when people saw how great Russ was they assumed and tried to say that he was biracial...anything to hold onto the notion that his blackness was not contributing to his greatness. As for this idea that Russ is fake, and that his religion is also a turnoff, that’s a line of bs. The one thing most white people actually appreciate about Russ is that he doesn’t fit the stereotype of the black superstar athlete. He’s the anti-Cam. Unselfish on and off the field, media savvy, community-oriented, telegenic, abd well-spoken at all times. As for his religion, do you see the prayers he holds after every game, which often involve half of the opposing teams’ players, as well as his own teammates? GOHWT 😒 Russ crushed white hopes by outperforming Luck and being a better QB than Drew Brees. Honestly, he’s arguably the smartest QB ever to play the game, and is already pound-for-pound the greatest QB who ever played. You can deny it all you want to, but most whites don’t like that. Exceptionally smart blacks scare/intimidate white people. They enjoy being entertained by black genius, and profiting from it in their businesses, but it also threatens white supremacy. THAT they do NOT like! Deny it all you want to, but you’ll only be trying to convince yourself. People of color know better, and there’s plenty of evidence to back up the argument. One last point: black commentators were PAID to hype Luck (and Newton) over Russ, and are now PAID to hype Mahomes (and Jackson) over Russ. Russ is at once beloved and viewed as a threat, because of his greatness.
8:08 My favorite play by Russell Wilson. That was an amazing day I'll never forget. All the elements you could ask for. Tie game, overtime, first to score goes to the superbowl, and then throws a bomb for a touchdown and the win.
Original Commentary 👏💯 Thankgod commonsense prevailed for a change. Good choice. We don't need music. Anybody that wants that, can opt for ear-phones from another source.
+Nick Richard I'm a fan of lyric-less music combined with the original commentary. There's a lot of great montage videos that use this combination very well.
I love my team, and I love my quarterback! People can throw shade all they want, he is an elite QB and he's only been in the league for 5 seasons. Nobody can scramble like he can. Nobody can throw off tackles in the pocket like he can. Nobody can take off and slide like he can. He always keeps his eyes downfield to spy an open man, he's not afraid of taking the hits, and he can always see where the sticks are for a first down if he needs to bootleg it himself. He's a great athlete, a wonderful person on and off the field, and is well respected by fans, coaches, and players alike. What more could a Seahawk fan want?! Hope this off season proves as productive as the last one, finding gems that can really be brought into the fold to help the team to another SB title. I can see them looking for more depth in the secondary, maybe a couple of pass rushers, and at least one guy who can start on that o-line. Lewis and Britt are solid guys, but converting defensive players to offensive linemen hasn't worked. And I want to see more highlights like these ones in Russell's career for many years! A guy can only stand being hit so many times before he gets injured. Get Russell the help he needs to succeed, and they will be unstoppable for years to come.
Aaron Rodgers can do everything you just said with less inceptions and accuracy something that Wilson lacks time to time. Not hating on you or your opinion just bringing it up I would say that as far as running the ball Russell beats Arod but mobility in the pocket I would disagree with.
+ronnie simmons Rodgers is great at improvising plays, but he can't scramble as easily. Rodgers definitely has the better deep ball, and yes, his accuracy is better, but he would be injured far more often if he was playing behind the same O line. He doesn't protect himself as readily because he's banking on somebody to throw a flag for roughing the passer. And he always looks to the refs for calls on the defense when his plays break down. Russell rarely throws his hands up or gets in the face of the officials. Both great in their own right, but I have my preference.
Wilson doesn't throw many interceptions... FYI, Wilson is better inside the pocket and Rodgers is better outside, in the past. This year Wilson was better in both.
Still a ton of amazing plays not on here. By the time Russell hangs it up, there will be a highlight real that will take you a full 24 hour day to watch. He is the reason I love football, so fun to watch him play behind a great offensive line with amazing receivers.
+Jason Lords The video would be about an hour long if he included everything. Which I'm perfectly fine with of course haha. The Chicago, Falcons (playoffs), Patriots, Carinals (home) games of 2012; Saints, Jacksonville, more Houston, Colts, Tennessee, more Cardinals (away), Bucs, (more) Falcons games of 2013; Green Bay, (more) Denver, (more) St. Louis, Washington etc. games of 2014; And then of course even more from his best year in 2015. So many plays and highlights left
He just has that "it" factor, like Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Ken Griffey, Jr., or Ichiro. You just have to watch him play. I've seen other great WB's come through the league, but few like Wilson. He makes me watch games that are unimportant.
“He’s not the biggest, doesn’t have the best arm, isn’t the fastest” Yet he just keeps winning. Come from behind wins, dominant wins, squeak by wins, he just keeps winning!!
+Stevo2o6 Actually the O line is atrociously bad. That was clear early in the season, we worked around it about halfway through by getting more quick passes out. Wilson is insane.
+Wayne World I'm not sure. The whole team, including Wilson, sleepwalked through the first half of the season. He was absolutely transcendent in the last 6 or 7 games, but they award MVP for 16. Would he get noticed more if he were a Giant or a Bear? Maybe, but he still probably wouldn't win.
Well, Seattle is not one of those teams with a half decent o-line. Despite this, had his defense not choked away a bunch of big fourth quarter leads, he would have won 15, best in the league. Then he would have been MVP. So, I AM basing it off of what he did.
The true definition of not judging a book by its cover. Many laughed when the Seahawks drafted him, including the experts. Many called him a game manager, including the experts. But year after year he has proven to be one of the best in the league. Many have forgotten or didn't know that he is tied with P. Manning for most touchdown passes in the rookie season. There are alot of teams kicking themselves for passing on him atleast three times in the draft.
Dude is special, sure fire 1st. ballot hall a famer when it's all said and done. Some how he still gets overlooked, 6 time pro bowler, 2 time NFC champion, 1 Super Bowl victory, 2nd. on the all time QB rating list and just a flat out winner. In Russ we trust.. GO HAWKS!!!!!
He is the ultimate competitor. The Seahawks are never out of any game with him as their QB. Just look at that Panther game. Down 31-0 at halftime and you score 24 unanswered points and give yourself a chance too win?? They all believe in him. He is my favorite player HANDS DOWN. He wins like a champion and loses like a Champion. You will never see him giving the SUCK IT gesture to Cardinals Fans like CARSON PALMER did comin up here. Youll never see him do individual celebration like Cam. Flex his muscles and shit. He just outworks and outclasses everyone and these are the results. Hes not the best QB in the league right?? But, I wouldnt trade him for anyone and thats a fact. Couldnt get me to trade Russell Wilson. NEVER!!
Just think about that Panthers game. They played a nearly flawless first half. Yet, if not for an uncharacteristic pick-6 by Wilson, and a very rare FG miss by Steven Haushka, the Seahawks would have won the game. That pick-6 only occurred because Lynch played. He shouldn't have been in the game. Wilson was trying to hit Lynch, but his timing was off. He didn't see the ball.
....Enough Highlights to end his career TODAY..and STILL BE in the Hall of Fame. But there's more seasons to go....so imagine how great he will be in the years to come....:-D
Whoever says Kearse and Baldwin are pedestrians are the same ones that said it about Golden Tate when he was in Seattle. He goes to Detroit, Megatron goes down, and Tate proves he's an #1 receiver and no one doubts anymore. Jimmy Graham goes down this year and Baldwin proves he's a #1 receiver and no one doubts anymore. Kearse is a free agent this year and if he goes to another team, he'll prove he's a #1. They are just more guys that everyone slept on in the draft and went undrafted and allowed Pete Carroll and John Schneider to find diamonds in the rough again.
M.V Knight just wondering on why you think Kearse could go so far down the line as being ranked as a #3-wr? is he dropping passes? or fumbling the ball at the worst possible time in a game? not running routes correctly? are you comparing him to other Seahawk WR or just other wr in the division or the conference or the NFL collectively? ..what are you seeing that I am obviously missing? I sure would be disappointed if the Hawks released him..Thanks MV Knight..and "Go Hawks"
Russell is a great player. He uses psychology, he uses focuse, he uses brain smart, he thinks before he move. And you don't have time to think, but Russell is just brain smart. 😁💕💝✌🏾
Smart move to re-sign Kearse. Made way too many big time catches in big time games. The most amazing play, in my opinion, is the 50 yard throw off his back foot at 9:30, that's pure arm strength.
Wow this is really good! This video was in my suggested videos for a long time and I just watched it, this is awesome watching this as a Hawks fan! Amazing!
This man got me into football the same way Steph Curry got me into basketball. He’s such an exciting player to watch. Literally no one I see on the NFL plays like he does with his scrambling and running. Maybe Aaron Rodgers to an extent. The Seahawks probably could’ve won that one super bowl and made history if he passed to beastmode or if he ran himself. I’ll never forget that moment lol.
Who is Russell Wilson? "He's not the fastest, he's not the biggest, he doesn't have the best arm. He just creates magic" More accurate than any statistics, articles or shit.
+LOGAN ROARK ikr oh man that was one of the best days watching football, i was on my lunch break at work and i didnt even eat lunch cus that moment filled my hunger
+LOGAN ROARK That was the best way the game could have ended. 0/4 throwing to Kearse, with all 4 passes resulting in INTs. But, Wilson never gave up on Kearse, and vis versa, so Wilson gave him one more shot and it was the biggest shot of them all: the game winner. Such a perfect ending.
@ 3:50 RW releases the ball back pedaling with pressure in his face and still manages to throw a dime. If you never played football throwing a dime without setting your feet is very difficult.
I love this quarterback soo much my favorite person to watch he is a once in a lifetime talent I swear you always know he's gonna make a play & keep fighting until that clock hits 0:00
Thanks for this! Any chance you can organize by play type (drop back, run, magic) and add year and week/playoff game to each clip? That would make this video the best Russ comp ever!
throughout the history of the NFL there have been QBs who can make one of these plays or another..but only one. has been able to consistantly make them all together...Russell Wilson..not only (gasp) the BEST QB now..but a féw more rings the BEST EVER..if someone thinks im crazy GO check his stats vs. everyone else..Wikapedia alone should make this case.
Russell Wilson, a baseball player turned QB. Imagine if one baseball player can do this what top baseball pitchers can do, if they train to play football.
***** NBA rejects come to football and become superstars? Wtf... ur kidding me right? pls tell me ur kidding. Which NFL superstar's first decision was basketball... just tell me which one?
***** Graham played basketball in college so have a lot of people and vice versa, when was he ever in the NBA draft? Antonio Gates is the only basketball player that excelled in basketball and then came to football, and he never went to the NBA draft. Trust me, NBA players can try and play in the NFL but it'll mess up their bodies in the long run.
You guys should take a look at Brazilian commentary.. its just way more fun to watch football with those guys from ESPN Brasil. Nice video btw, of a great throw on the run qb. Cheers
First name Russell....last name Wilson. Class act for a guy with that much talent. No bicep kissing, no look at me superman B.S. , no guns with the fingers or belt poses after getting a 1st down. He acts like he's been there before. Bottom line is winning.
When it's all said and done, Russ will be one of greatest to have played the position.
Great video!
2nd only to Tom Brady in wins since his rookie year The guy is a winner the never back down champion
he already is. I put him at number 3 behind Otto Graham and Tom Brady
Lol if he retires right now he wont be over manning.
this didnt age well
Wilson is such a good under pressure QB, in all those "oh shit what do I do" situations he always manages to pull something off
actually now without max unger the offensive line isn't good dat center was one of da best in da league he was marshawn lynch's blocker....everytime lynch was running unger would help lynch
Russell Wilson better than Tom Brady
Tyrese Womack true .....brady is rusty and russell will be a hall of famer
+Jo ey it's true he could be some day at the rate he's going but not at the moment
+Emerzon Jimenez if Tom Brady had a shitty line he would be a average QB ... It's the Pats system that makes him good
Better than Cam anyday
yea he is ,fuck cam
+Miguel Rivera my kind of people on this video! MVP my ass
Yes!!
+J Borkowski let see if that bitch cam will be doing his lil dance tomorrow
Miguel Rivera Game Day Baby! Let's give that fucker what he deserves

But, I wouldnt trade him for anyone and thats a fact. Couldnt get me to trade Russell Wilson. NEVER!!
Isnt he the best he gat that best rating i think
Just think about that Panthers game. They played a nearly flawless first half. Yet, if not for an uncharacteristic pick-6 by Wilson, and a very rare FG miss by Steven Haushka, the Seahawks would have won the game. That pick-6 only occurred because Lynch played. He shouldn't have been in the game. Wilson was trying to hit Lynch, but his timing was off. He didn't see the ball.
Russell is INSANE!!!
Wilson will own every important record in 5 more years, never missing a start.
FINALLY a video of just game footage and not edited cut by cut slo mo stuff we can't get a feel of the game (NFL network I'm dogging you).
I miss golden Tate
He fucked Russ's girl tho
Ricardo too
Essy X this comment was made before I had that knowledge
Ronald Mitchell Baldwin Kearse were here three years ago rice retired so I understand that
daAnder71 thank you for catching my capitalization error three years too late
His scrambling is just a thing of beauty
Amazing QB with some damn amazing receivers
Man, growing up in the PNW with all it's sports travesties, its an honor to have this dude reppin' us now.
What did we learn: Russell Wilson is Jesus; Jesus never had a decent O line
Or a real offensive coordinator
Well...I BELIEVE RUSS CAN WALK ON WATER!
....Enough Highlights to end his career TODAY..and STILL BE in the Hall of Fame.
But there's more seasons to go....so imagine how great he will be in the years to come....:-D
He wouldn't be in the HOF if he retired today...
This was beautiful. So many highlights of a Hawk QB rippin'-n-snortin'. How I had relished for this day.
My favorite Seattle athlete of all time!
That last throw against the cardinals was insane. 50 yards in the air with a flick of the wrist.
Beautiful to see such amazing talents.
They are just more guys that everyone slept on in the draft and went undrafted and allowed Pete Carroll and John Schneider to find diamonds in the rough again.
i was and still am a fan of Golden Tate..wish Seattle would have found a way to keep him...
no...golden tate was a beasts since his days at notre dame..most ppl knew he was good but didn't play in the right system
joshblue32 well said brother...:Go Hawks"
I agree with everything you said except for about kearse. I think kearse is a very good wr2 or wr3. I don't think he is wr1 material.
He is the Ken Griffey JR of the NFL. Amazing.
Russell is a great player. He uses psychology, he uses focuse, he uses brain smart, he thinks before he move. And you don't have time to think, but Russell is just brain smart. 😁💕💝✌🏾
Ahh. Back when Kearse could catch. Those were the days.
Kearse was made by Wilson..Not that Kearse couldn't catch, but because Kearse knew that when Wilson threw the ball he could catch it clutch...
9:38 still my favorite throw
Smart move to re-sign Kearse. Made way too many big time catches in big time games. The most amazing play, in my opinion, is the 50 yard throw off his back foot at 9:30, that's pure arm strength.
Kearse was amazing, I miss him with Russell.
That man is amazing...
Wow this is really good! This video was in my suggested videos for a long time and I just watched it, this is awesome watching this as a Hawks fan! Amazing!
That's why they call him Danger - Russ
It is sad to say this about him but they can not stop what God has blessed his actions speak louder that words about him!!!!
Russel WIlson is a beast, but I'll tell you what Jermaine Kearse is underrated as hell. Dude has pulled down some passes.
And also made some critical drops and nearly screwed us over in the NFC champ game last year. Makes some plays, but no more than a number 3 or 4
Jermaine Kearse = Mr. Clutch!
Ramone DeCurta
He stepped it up this year.
"Because we're all sick and tired of Fort Minor." Legendary
Russell Wilson is a legit dual threat!!!
That stiff arm juke on Arizona? whoa.
You should make more highlight videos. This one is really good !!
That game winner at 02:17 was majestic.
8:32 Norman got embarrassed..
Best QB imo
Russell Wilson's throw I'm traffic rating and throw on the run rating must be 99
Russell Wilson he's better than RG3
+Tyrese Womack That's like saying X is smarter than a kid with down syndrome...Not much of a compliment.
russell my man he is better the cam newton
daAnder71 he is.. no arguing
THANKS FOR THIS!!!
Too short??? Lol where's Andrew lucks ring at??? Where's rg3's ring at???
Russ has always been my favorite quarterback
Wilson/Luck is the new Manning/Brady duo that will run this league the next 10 years
More like Wilson/Newton
Luck won't do anything. Wilson-Newton is the new Brady-Manning
I just love watching him run
This man got me into football the same way Steph Curry got me into basketball. He’s such an exciting player to watch. Literally no one I see on the NFL plays like he does with his scrambling and running. Maybe Aaron Rodgers to an extent. The Seahawks probably could’ve won that one super bowl and made history if he passed to beastmode or if he ran himself. I’ll never forget that moment lol.
james harden is better than steph curry
Who is Russell Wilson?
"He's not the fastest, he's not the biggest, he doesn't have the best arm. He just creates magic"
More accurate than any statistics, articles or shit.
8:13 Still so emotional for me
+LOGAN ROARK ikr oh man that was one of the best days watching football, i was on my lunch break at work and i didnt even eat lunch cus that moment filled my hunger
I agree.
You're doing the Lord's work Will
god he is so good. favorite qb by far. he'll take us to super bowl 50. #GoHawks
Russell Wilson is amazing I hope he gets MVP he deserves it let's go beat the Ravens!!!
@ 3:50 RW releases the ball back pedaling with pressure in his face and still manages to throw a dime. If you never played football throwing a dime without setting your feet is very difficult.
I miss Sydney Rice. great route runner, tons of speed and great hands
When you watch Russell Wilson highlights: 7:37
Please make an updated video of his highlights, he’s had so many more since!
4:20 Cary Williams and Doug Baldwin lol
I love your video description 😂 #nomorefortminorinhighlights
lol can you do more like this pretty please. this was great.
I love this quarterback soo much my favorite person to watch he is a once in a lifetime talent I swear you always know he's gonna make a play & keep fighting until that clock hits 0:00
7:00 pretty sweet to hit the rams with the same play, same result
the corner was like again.... dayum
Thanks for Original Comentary, Can we have one of Cam Newton Please sir?
Russell Wilson, Tyler Lockett, Jimmy Graham, Doug Baldwin. My favorite players. On defensive, Kam Chancellor, Richard Sherman, and K.J Wright
I love Wilson. There's no QB that I'd rather have on my team. A flaw-less quarterback if ever there was one.
finaly I can see another good highlight video go hawks
The stiff arm juke for a TD in Arizona is the greatest. How many QB have you seen stiff arm a DLine and then juke a DB then walked into the endzone?
The reason that D-Lines hate playing Wilson. You're going to exhaust yourself chasing him, and your secondary may get embarrassed in the process.
Russell Wilson, a baseball player turned QB. Imagine if one baseball player can do this what top baseball pitchers can do, if they train to play football.
Wilson has always been a football guy too. Football has always been his primary sport.
Not true!
Cheers
Imagine this magician with a good o-line and franchise receivers
Future hall of famer guaranteed
i miss you
MVP!!
9:44 This man broke a defenders ankles moving backwards like wtf 🙄
Russ runs like a teenage shoplifter! 😆😂 Like a mouse in a room full of cats!
I watch all Seahawk games and (SF) #55 Brooks has put some major hits on Wilson.
First name Russell....last name Wilson. Class act for a guy with that much talent. No bicep kissing, no look at me superman B.S. , no guns with the fingers or belt poses after getting a 1st down. He acts like he's been there before. Bottom line is winning.
I know right....I would do a dance after every td....but cam has to do it if he completes a pass....and he has like a hundred celebrations
But....but....he's just a game manager?
Russell's the best!!
