The rear end just doesn't make any sense. A bunch of pieces stuck together. Front is ok (only ok) but not as good looking or as agressive as the Huracan.
The sickest element of this new design is the cutout in the rear wheel area (very “Countach” like). Overall a very dialed-down, almost elegant design. It’ll age well over the decade that it will be in production.

personally I like the front design, it's sharp. But in the rear there's too much going on, seems a bit too complicated and heavy for my taste. The exposed rear wheels look cool though. Also I don't think the rear lights are aggressive enough.
It is a shame that the final car looks almost identical, to the renders based on spy shots made previous to its launch. The front is lame, the headlights have not connection with the rest of the bonnet, and so on. Even the first gen Huracan has more personality than this. Painfully not just this, but also the Revuelto is so spiritless that makes me wonder, what happened to Lamborghini's design division.
I think the Revuelto is so sick but yeah both of the new cars have kind of lost their "Lamborghininess". Honestly the Huracan and Aventador were so hard to beat and its weird that neither car looks like an evolution of their predecessor. This car in particular looks like a restomod of a Gallardo, which would have been cool for a limited edition car but given that its replacing the Huracan and not the Gallardo, it looks likes a devolution rather than an evolution.
I think you're forgetting that this is just the regular version of the car. I'm inclined to believe that when Lamborghini comes out with a Performante or STO version of the Temerario it'll look insane.
@@fenrirslip I'm sure it will look better, that's obvious but even just comparing it to a base 2014 Huracan it looks less characteristic. Sure, its more modern so its gonna have that appeal to it because its new and shiny but it lost a little bit of soul compared to the H & A imo.

On first impressions, I’m getting SF90 vibes from the front… and I don’t mind actually! I like this design overall, I think it is more timeless than other recent Lamborghini designs and will look stunning in person
I think it looks great. Cutouts for the rear wheels are a nice touch. I disagree with you about the headlights. They look just fine and I don't know if we'd say that's Lamborghinis design strong suit. Especially since one of their most famous models uses a Nissan headlight.
This Lamborhini is amazing, I love how daring it looks, its design is controversial for many people, but I feel like that's exactly what Lamborhini wanted to do with this car, that's why it's called temerario and that's why in the video where they show it, they say the phrase "you can't hide who you are."
The headlights look too slim. There’s a video where the hood was unlocked and lights looked an inch taller, I loved that look of headlights. The rear looks aftermarket specifically revealing wheels on back.
I love how it looks. Simple, clean, but still dramatic. And the rear end looks like a baby Essenza SCV12. I think it's better looking than the Revuelto

I think the rear would be a lot better looking in the standard painted rear bumper, instead of this matte black. Also, the brake lights need some Y-shaped lights in the middle like the Aventador and the Revonton had. I don't really see many people buying this when the 296 GTB exists to be honest.
I love it so much. I think it is the perfect blend of aggressive Lamborghini but with a beautiful elegance to it ( unlike the revuelto ). I never thought the base huracan looked to aggressive either, thats why I like it, too. Overall I am very pleased with the design, the DTRLs look good I don't know why people are complaining about it. Hexagons have been here just as long as the Y shape so I think it's fitting. Love it!
Few things I'm struggling to digest in this design: The sides with its three intakes (too many, just why?), the squinty eyes and the black bumper with the little streaks that I can't tell if they serve a purpose or not, the rear with the gills in the blacked out portion of the bumper... There are too many elements that just don't seem to fit, and especially doesn't necessarily shout "Lamborghini" to me in this car. There are some elements I do like though, like those rear exposed tyres, the high-sitting exhaust, the wheels. But all in all, I much prefer the Huracan's design.

I love the design. The larger details are simple with smaller pieces like the intakes spicing it up. I may be old but I remember everyone saying the the Huracan was too simple and not "Lamborghini" enough and that design has aged beautifully. Can't wait to hear it in person
One thing I will say after playing around with the configurator, spec it with a body colored rear bumper, it looks SO MUCH BETTER, idk why either of the launch cars didn’t have it
If we follow the lines on Corvettes. Almost nothing adds up. Its design by committee and not by a single designer. Lamborghinis were always great for that reason.

The Huracán was cohesive, aggressive, I remember falling in love with the styling the instant I first saw it! Same thing with the Aventador. Both looked A LOT more modern than their predecessors...this Temerario has a decent front, while the side looks a bit dated and the rear is almost a total mess (nice taillights though).
Before you get started my thoughts were that the front sides and rear were designed by 3 different teams, that did not communicate much. Only the rear lives up to the styling I expect from Lamborghini. Both the front and sides look a bit tame to me.

It looks like a tuned up Audi R8 to me, so yeah. All VAG brands have a very specific brand design manual, which may be ok for Skodas, but for a supercar maker it is a big problem. Even if the cars may be technically better, they lack anything that makes people go WOW!
I think this looks great. The sides remind me of the Gallardo and the back kinda gives Mclaren vibes imo. That said, I've never really been a fan of the super aggressive looking Lambos, so I think it works.
I can't believe they didn't integrate anything hexagonal for the headlights. Personally, I hate the slit headlights on the SF90/296 and I don't love them here either.
I think it looks beautiful. Looks subtle and reminds me of the Gallardo. I don't mind the headlights either. They'll likely have a headlight/refresh change on some of the later models. Love the rear end with the exposed rear tires. Reminds me of old Le Mans race cars like the Porsche 917
I think many people forget that this is only the regular Temerario and that there will obviously be more hardcore variants down the line. In fact, the same exact thing can be said about the original Countach. The LP500 Prototype and earlier models of the Countach were certainly head-turners, but they also weren't nearly as insane looking as the LP5000 Quattrovalvole or the 25th Anniversary Edition with the massive wing. In my opinion, I like this more than the design of the Huracan, and I love the Huracan's appearance, but something about the Temerario catches my attention more.
Maybe the side looks a little like the BMW M1!? The only view that i really like is the top-view. The Rest is a weird indecisive mix of FERRARI, CORVETTE, MCLAREN etc. ...and a little bit of LAMBORGHINI . The Gallardo was best Lambo since the 90's until now. So georgous CLEAN.
I actually love the slits for headlights in the front!! When everyone else is just different variations of lines for DRLs lamborghini made it look so raw and aggressive

The current m3/m4 still look like ass wtf , the front is random AF compared to the the rest of the car and the side profile of the m4 is like a melted cheese mustang

2014 ahh headlights- they thought the hexagon LED island was gonna be cool- and why is the rear tire completely exposed? Seems like they tried to have the Huracan Performante rear bumper tire aero, but completely exposed- which doesn't seem to be it. It looks like whoever designed the previous Lambo's had nothing to do with this one, or some higher up's wanted to take the design of future cars a different path? I don't know- the car just looks like it was made by some new brand that's trying to jump on the auto scene.
Design wise this is a step back in my opinion compared to the Huracan. Not a fan of the front end but I’ll probably need to see it in person before final judgment. I’m sure it’ll blow it out in terms of performance

Hexagonal front headlights seem to come out of nowhere. Then, I realieze it is voluntarily droped like this to be as recognizable and as lamborghiniesque as possible. Bold design.
Regarding your question about the side panel. I feel like a couple of automakers are doing that such as corvette zo6, the rimac nivera are some that I would say kinda have that shape imo.

The OG 610-4 Huracan has been roasted by almost every journalists when it lauched 10 years ago for being too basic, too tame.

The LP500 Prototype and earlier models of the Countach were certainly head-turners, but they also weren't nearly as insane looking as the LP5000 Quattrovalvole or the 25th Anniversary Edition with the massive wing. In my opinion, I like this more than the design of the Huracan, and I love the Huracan's appearance, but something about the Temerario catches my attention more.
Aventador and Huracan were peak Lamborghini design. Just can't get behind their successors visually.

The Rest is a weird indecisive mix of FERRARI, CORVETTE, MCLAREN etc. ...and a little bit of LAMBORGHINI .

I actually love the slits for headlights in the front!! When everyone else is just different variations of lines for DRLs lamborghini made it look so raw and aggressive
This is one of those cars everyone hates for like a year then obsess over just like the new M3/4. I like this new redesign and I felt the same when I first saw the M3.
The current m3/m4 still look like ass wtf , the front is random AF compared to the the rest of the car and the side profile of the m4 is like a melted cheese mustang

@@fabviziopolonia8719 I don’t really like the 440i looks that much but the m3/4s look really good to me. Still with a lot of cars people just like to hate on them and within a year people love it.
2014 ahh headlights- they thought the hexagon LED island was gonna be cool- and why is the rear tire completely exposed? Seems like they tried to have the Huracan Performante rear bumper tire aero, but completely exposed- which doesn't seem to be it. It looks like whoever designed the previous Lambo's had nothing to do with this one, or some higher up's wanted to take the design of future cars a different path? I don't know- the car just looks like it was made by some new brand that's trying to jump on the auto scene.
Design wise this is a step back in my opinion compared to the Huracan. Not a fan of the front end but I’ll probably need to see it in person before final judgment. I’m sure it’ll blow it out in terms of performance
Another good design analysis. As for the side view, it reminds me of the Rimac Nevera. She has the same channeling of the duct opening to a line leading to the back wheel.
The Temerario has clean lines gives it a comfortable look. I wish if you show us your SV version of this beauty.
This car is absolutely genius. Its simple lineflow is gonna make it a huge winner.
I think the side view more towards the rear kind of looks like the mclaren gt. I might be the only one but especially the little lip wing in the back.

I absolutely love it! It reminds me of the Gallardo LP560, which I consider one of their all-time best designs.

Hexagonal front headlights seem to come out of nowhere. Then, I realieze it is voluntarily droped like this to be as recognizable and as lamborghiniesque as possible. Bold design.
Regarding your question about the side panel. I feel like a couple of automakers are doing that such as corvette zo6, the rimac nivera are some that I would say kinda have that shape imo.
