a rev limiter????? seriously? design is not gud tbh, huracan looked wayy better, huracan also has a v10, do yall remember when cars in the 80s - 90s had black bumpers on the cheap models an body coloured bumpers on the expensive models? its literally exactly like that, looks like it cught of fire and the back got burned, there is literally no coordination is any of the shapes in the rear, the hexagonal drl is kinda dogsh*t too. A lot of people arent as dissappointed as I am but im not gonna chagne my opinion, i was so frikin hyped when i heard that they were gonna launch a successor to the huracan, but nope this is 💩💩
It's nice, but it's to blend! And with the rev-limiter it's sounds very polite! It needs an exhaust, for sure! I'm a little disappointed with the design to be honest! Not as aggressive and bold as the Huracan, and sound nothing like it! And nobody seems to talk about it!
I admire the shameless desperation of Lamborghini to come up with a motorcycle embodiment with a high boosted (35 psi) hybrid flat plane V8 (not V6) revving to 10,000 and making 800 + hp by itself, to be a huge step ahead of (evolutionary and boring ) Ferrari heading down the path of an entire line of V6 hybrids except for their over-priced tribute to the same old V12 in different funky models. The sound is scratchy, raspy but, even over youtube, conveys high end motor sport intentions. And to accomplish this? An extra engine head tier dedicated to valve train re-enforcement. No-slop valve finger followers to prevent valve positioning from ever going out of adjustment, engineered short timing chain, also to prevent slop at high engine speed, flat plane crank shaft and light titanium con rods for fast rev climbs and descents. This is pure desperation to make up for lost time wasted in making minor improvements on the same old Gallardo/Huracan V10 over a long span of decades, while Ferrari did not rest on it's laurels. It is what Lamborghini needed to do...and it delivered. Lambo fearlessly (hence the name 'Temerario' of their brain-child) did not hold back on it's grand vision that this was, even if it had to swallow it's pride by turning the execution of this vision over to the Germans- It worked before with the Gallardo and it seems like it will work again with the 'fearless' Temerario. Valve delete and opening up back end exhaust will change the sound from irritating 'question mark' to irritating 'plain mean', befitting the simple, tight, 'all business' body lines. This car is such a surprise that it has not, understandably, fully reached the consciousness of of minds that are desensitized by the latest predictable and sanitized 'ho-hum' super/hyper car trends. It is destined to be a classic even a full year plus before it is released. I am all-in!
