Congrats Walker! Great finds buddy! It always makes me happy to see you digging up some fine relics and showing all your older finds and the stories that go with them. Thanks for sharing!
Great Hunt BW! Thanks as always for sharing! Weather in South Alabama is getting right for digging....can't wait! Keep up the great saves my friend and God Bless! Take care brother!
Awesome video as usual, my digging buddy and I just located a new union camp site in Missouri. We scouted it out last week and I found 11 bullets in about an hour. We're going back as soon as we get a good rain, we're super dry here making digging a challenge. But the site looks promising.
Dang it man you killed it again, as always, Awesome finds Battlefield Walker, that's a cool pistol bullet an nice buttons keep rocking Battlefield Walker I really dig your videos
Super nice of you to say, Jeffrey! I'm fortunate to have this spot a few times a year. 99% of a successful hunt is swinging your coil in the right place, I think!
I could be wrong, but I think the pre CW buttons, such as the state seal ones, such as the NY were made with more brass like brass than the Eagle buttons that all the Union switched over to midstream CW. Potentially the reason for “holding up better”. Great stuff Walker!
It's as good a theory as any Jedi. The fertilizer in the fields really kills the Eagles and some of the states. But it's weird. I've found some pristine eagles in that field, and some crunchy states! But it's generally the other way around . . .
Thanks BW for sharing your latest civil war finds. Looking forward to seeing your i.d. disc, these are about as personal as it gets. Only found 2 in 50 years of detecting, will love to see yours. Hope you find that bucket lister this year, im searching for that George Washington button that keeps eluding my Deus 2. HH...
Hope you find that GW! I've never found an ID disc. This is something another hunter found, but I';m interested in hearing what others may think of it. I'm leaning away from an ID tag, but maybe!
Goddess hunt walker and good saves.. I just got back hunting myself.. flat crunched eagle i worse than your ny button. I hate it when I find them like that
This is Walker from chilly, rainy Virginia! First mine is the original D1 or "first" Deus. My digging buddy has a D2 but I'm a bit behind! I run NOTHING EVER except "Deep". But I also have the biggest stock head (I think?) 13". It's heavy, a bit unwieldy and a rotator cuff destroyer - but it will go quite a bit deeper than my standard head. Even with that, on DEEP program I hear mouse-whispers that I check with Sonar, Graph and Hot Sifter and hear nothing. So I'm sold. Downside: It's harder to distinguish between metals and it's not as accurate pinpointing targets. Especially iron for some reason. Hope this helps!
@@thebattlefieldwalker2841 I have the 11X13 and cannot seem to hear the deeper targets very well...compared to my 9 inch coil and I use the Deep HC on the Deus 2. This was plowed fields up in Illinois and the soil was very dry and hard...clay like. I am thinking of getting the 11 inch coil and seeing if that punches deeper on bullets and good targets...although big iron seems to give me a good reading and it is always interesting to see what those targets are anyways. Thanks for responding to my questions Sir Walker and may God continue to bless you and encourage you today and in the days ahead. Mike in sunny Florida
@@MikeMcInroe Appreciate hearing your experience Mike. I am 100% sure that soil conditions make a BIG difference! And also, big iron like cannonballs and even fragments of same can ring up like a gold coin on my setup too! HH
Hey Jeff! I use the original (1 I guess) Deus and never hunt with anything but deep. I don't even know if that's a factory setting or one my buddy loaded. I just know it goes deep!
Good on ya hunt man. Many blessings to you. Ever gonna show that ID Badge soon? I will be glad. Especially this election is gonna be history TRUMP 2024! I wish I can vote but I'm in high school.
Yep. I'm gonna show it sometime, but not for a few months probably. I've been asking around, and everybody seems to think it's a personalized watch fob. I have no idea, and thanks for sending the pictures of it . . .
@@thebattlefieldwalker2841 I showed it to my cousin who goes to Civil War Reenactments and Museums. Also he said some were made very crude or because some were made at the camp in a rush to make others for other people in that camp. To make cash. Where I live is where over 100 soldiers were traveling through. Plus on the top where the hole is were ribbon would have at one time. My cousin has seen badges made like the design before but very scarce here in MN. Most of the time you could only find the badges in the South. Especially someone probably who lost that paid a pretty penny at the time. It was a good time for ya sharing ya adventure I appreciate Walker!
Good morning from north Mississippi, been waiting on your video for the week thanks .
I'm honored Jessie! From now on, unless I think different, my weekly vids will land on Fridays at 4 PM. Appreciate your interest!
WOW... being from Canada, that sure gives me hope in finding a civil war item one day!
I'm hoping so, brother!

Good man, and me too!

I agree Dewey, but I find very few really nice ones anymore. I'm glad we're at least saving what's left!
Awesome civil war relics recovered! I am wondering what program you run on your D2 on those farm fields? Mike in sunny Florida

The old timers used to call them "Taj Mahal Bullets" Anthony!
Great hunt, are you using the D2 ? If so what program? Thanks for sharing and have a Blessed Day.
