thank you very much bro, other ways i shoud send an email to my tutorial teacher then give me an appointment then i go fix my problem!!. you fix my problem in 2 min thank you and subscribed you
So this is all wrong. The problem here is not the size of the dimensions, it's the scale this person is working in in model space, which is 1:1. The whole point of annotative dimensions is that the text height stays consistent in paper space and, therefore, when printed, no matter what scale you decide to layout and print in. You should be setting a consistent text height in the dimension style manager and definitely not messing with the scale factor in the manager. Instead, make sure that the "Add scales to annotative objects..." button is turned on (light blue) in the status bar at the bottom of the screen. Then change the scale to what the output scale is likely to be in relationship to the size of paper you want to use for output. You will see the dimension change size on it's own. This gives you a sense of how big or small your text will look when printed in that scale in relation to how large the object will be in that same scale. For example, I want my dimension text height to always print 1/8" tall, no matter what scale I'm working in. Set this as the text height of your annotative dimensions in the "Text" tab of the dimension style manager and make sure the "Annotative" check box is checked in the "Fit" tab of the dimension style manager. Save the changes and, before you close the dimension style manager, select the modified text style and click "Set Current." Now, dimension your object, or part of it, and, making sure the "Add scales to annotative objects..." button is turned on (light blue) in the status bar at the bottom of the screen, change the scale from 1:1 to 1"=1'-0" (or whatever you want it to be), also located in the status bar right next to the "Add scales to annotative objects..." button, and watch the dimension change size automatically. What it's now showing you is how big a dimension with 1/8" height will look in relationship to the object you drew, scaled down to 1"=1'-0", which is what you'll have to do anyways when you lay it out to a desired paper size in the layout tab. If you do what the fellow in the video says, when you get to laying out your drawings and dimensions in paper space, you will run into text size issues again.
Still can’t find a fix to our problem. My daughter has to use the simpler browser version of this and there’s no way to adjust the size of the tool that we can find. As soon as she selects the first point, a huge white line blocks the drawing. It’s part of the tools but we can’t figure out why it’s so huge and we can’t use it this way. Even the teacher can’t find a solution.
Can anyone help I haven’t used this in a long time but when I edit the dimensions of the dimension box it only changes the text and won’t edit the size of the line
Indian guys will always be a student's savior, lol Thank you.
