@5:25 I try to select the lines in the "shaded with edges" view. It is not possible to select the lines. Only the box is selectable and deletable.
If I change to 2D wirframe I can selecet the lines/delete them. I did everything exactly like you did.

please can you tell me how you calculated the rounded part's length? why is it equal to 5+10 ? sorry if it's obvious, but I can not figure it out.
Arc radius is 5 + Thickness is 10 therefore outside arc radius is 10+5

Another challenging exercise. Using ACAD 2022. I don't know why, but my first attempt at press-pulling the hole from the back-plate failed, as it did not "pull" out the plug. Finally, I just moved it out. Then I completed the exercise. I did the exercise again to see if I made a mistake, but this time press-pull "pulled out" the plug. Did anyone else experience this??? Also, on my second round I finished up without the tutorial. I noticed that you extruded the last piece on top, but I just press pulled it sideways and came out with a similar shape; minus some curvature lines. Does it matter that I press-pulled rather than extruded? Will that ever get me in trouble with an object I am drawing? Thanks again for all you do!
End result of presspull and extrude is same. Therefore you can use any one of them.
I have tried multiple times but for some reason I still cannot "pull" the plug out. Were you able to find your mistake?

When i try to extrude the third object, it is like only the outside is extruded, not the inside like in yours sir. Mine is autocad 2020, how can i fix this? I tried to make it region but it didnt work out too!

Join the boundary using join command and Use extrude command for 3D conversion.

You can also use Extrude command
what's the difference between union and join? when to use which?
Union is for 3D objects and join is for 2D objects.
