Finally, a AutoCAD tutorial that someone speaks clearly and in English. Not what I was looking for, but I did learn a nugget, so I'll will look at more of Brandon's videos.

Nice!! That last tip is really good . Hatch the broken up PLINES then erase the hatch. Happens a lot on the site plans I receive. A pain to redraw.

Hey there - there is a way to select hatch only by boundary - do you know what that selection option was? I have text above hatch and when double clicking it would often pick the hatch rather then edit the text box. Thanks!
Im trying to find a way to make the hatch and boundary a single object so that when I move/copy it, they all move together...
Great video though. Wanted to ask a question but decided to test it out. Apprently modifying the Gap Tolerance does not retrospectively apply, which is probably a good thing or it would potentially be disastrous when you find all your hatches gone if they were now beyond the threshold

Good video but I don't have a lot of the functions that you seem to have, such as the 'generate boundary' option? Its not included on my version of ACAD and that seems to happen a lot with the tips you cover in your videos. I have AutoCAD LT 2013 so that's probably the reason why! It's still fine for just about all the work I need to do and I don't have to pay an annual licence for it which is the best part - but the trade off is that I guess I am missing out on tons of functionality, even in the LT version....

Another reason could be that I noticed is you have to be zoomed out over the whole polygon your trying to mark otherwise it gives you that error I’ve been stuck on it for over an hour trying to find what polygon wasn’t closed

No clear. i used hatch frequently but all time i dont change to hatch style or hatch edit. why i doest change hatch? plz help us.
Hi there, any advise, or reason on what to do if every time I want to hatch, AutoCad crashes??
Hmm, if it's a hatching issue, definitely want to make sure you're using a closed area or polygon when you're trying to hatch within it. Having one that's open can lead to freezing/crashed occasionally.
Another thing to look into would be making sure your graphics card has up to date drivers and if that doesn't help, try reinstalling AutoCAD.
I have problem. When i try to Hatch the object and i choose the colour of Hatch is by layer but the sample of Hatch not change and still white it's make me work two Times and waste my time. Can you Solve this problem?
