I gather jasper around northern Albuquerque and can't wait to get my hands on a good saw. Some of them are 3 and 4 bright colors on the outside. I imagine they are awesome on the inside.
Hi Daniel, thanks for watching! I would say both can provide an awesome shine but the very best results come from the cerium pad. Unfortunately it can create a mess that requires extra cleaning which the belt does not so there’s that to consider.
Hi, thanks for watching! I believe for that video I used the 10” BD-10 from Baranca Diamond. I also use an HP Lapidary 18” slab saw in addition to their 7” trim saw.
It took a nice shine!
Thanks for watching James!
Another great shine! This was a great find.
Thanks! I was pretty happy with it. I have a few more pieces I got out there that have yet to be slabbed 🤞.
Very pretty ❤
Thank you Denise, I appreciate you watching!
Good looking piece.

That is what is so fun about the lapidary arts, you never know what lies beneath the surface. Thanks so much for watching!
great stone
Thanks, I’m glad you liked it!
Do you experience better results using the Cerium pad or the belt?

What saw do you use?
