  • I recieved my first ever pieces of HAVA RIDGE jasper! This amazing mineral is green and stunning! We take a piece of it, trim it on my 5" trim saw, and polish it into a stunning cabochon using my 8" Cabking unit. I will be working more of this material in the future so make sure to subscribe to our channel with notifications ON so you don't miss it!
Hava Ridge jasper was discovered in 2021 by Nic on his claim and he named this beautiful jasper after his daughters, what a good papa!! This mineral is from Oregon, I would love to get out there and to collect it myself someday.

Even though it looks awesome, you could possibly hit those pits with Ultra Clear UV Hard Resin first before polishing it up so that there's a smooth transition on the surface. Just a suggestion💯☺️💯

Pits are part of the stone. If you don't want to leave them try some clear epoxy and fill them with a toothpick and buff out the epoxy. You could even add some color to the epoxy to match, but clear seems to work fine. Keep having fun!

I like to work on a lot of jasper and the stuff i find also tends to have those small pockets which is a little disappointing but they still look great. I did once hear from someone that you can use a clear epoxy resin to fill the holes for a perfect smooth surface but iv'e never had the chance to test it.
