But instead of euphoria (since it got nerfed so hard in next gen) you can get ALOT of sign dmg out of the mutation in the bottom left that increases signs by 50% of the held weapon. You just hold a silver sword with high dmg and melt things. Igni for example went from listing
oo, I actually think it was the total tox you can get that they nerfed from the alchemy perk, so it may have been indirectly. Effectively cutting in half the scaling you can get from euphoria. Conductors of magic with a nice silver sword is crazy though. Started installing mods to increase mob hp/levels/dmg/aggression because bosses felt like mobs and mobs might has well not been there.
Recommend getting "Light feet" perk from middle red tree. It negates all damage during rolls and jumps. I have it even on my sign build, saved my a lot of hustle with quen reapplication :)
Literally bs tip . If you’re reacting well enough you don’t need that . Challenge yourself does not make the game fun or organic using that more so for CAutistic players without the c
I recommend going for the invigoration enchantment on swords in the heavy attack build. It sinergizes much better with ekhimmara and ekidna decoctions and the whole build overall: since you are always going to be regenerating health by spending stamina/dealing damage and also amount to always be at full health (hence the water hag decoction), invigoration increases your dps significantly more than just having more reach with rend.
Sorry for bad english but: In the build with signs, along with the new decoction stat that now takes 50% poison instead of 75%, you can take 2 at a time. The poison is then 100%, but Euphoria is at 75% all the time. Adding to this Perk that maintains the food bonus for 20 minutes (from Blood and Wine), we don't lose vitality (from staying at 100% poison) and we don't have to eat anything every now and then. Personally, I'm using ekkima decoction (attacks regenerate vitality) and echidna (using stamina, including signs, regenerate vitality). I don't need a swallow to regenerate, I have a high percentage of Euphoria. As a result, I have powerful signs. I can't use other potions and the health bar is green all the time, but the long buff effect along with Master Griffin Armor gives a massive kick.

They stupidly nerfed survivability across all builds... Bear armor ain't feelin so bear-ish anymore. Went from capping out at 100% damage reduction max, to capping out at I believe, 65% max. You can take more hits in Bear armor than others, but it ain't super tanky anymore... Bear was 75% Oil was 25% But now, Bear is 50% Oil is 15% Also keep in mind that it appears enemy upscaling is on. Doggos will hit like freight trains. Also, his sword isn't oiled with beast oil, so he is only getting 50% damage reduction against upscaled good bois.
In the Cavill build you have the Severance enchantment on your swords. That is for Whirl and Rend, yet you don’t have those abilities. You are not using protective coating and/or arachas decoction, that’s why you almost die from 2 dog bites. In the Whirl build, use Manticore set for more crit chance and crit dmg and the extra toxicity allows you to use 4 decoctions + potions. Especially if you also use fast metabolism, you can drink Tawny, Thunder and Blizzard. That rapes everything. Especially Blizzard is very strong this patch. Also in thuis build use Ekkimara, Arachas, Katakan and Troll. Troll for the regen, so you don’t lose HP cause of toxicity, the you can also forget the skill that increases toxicity lvl from 50 to 80%. Since you will go above 80% anyway. I stopped watching because your builds seem very rushed, not thought out very well. I’m fine with builds where a few skills are up for debate, but your first 2 builds were dead wrong…
they shoudv nerfed quen anyways. and not the interaction with removing critical damage effects that was the the only skilled apllication of this sign xDD

with the new gen i tried to do a bomb build with the buff at the manticore sett with bombs and it's pretty good, probably not broken but fun, and you can almost one shot some of contract monsters if it crits, i suggest you to try it, it's very fun peculiar.
I have a whirl build which makes him spin forever, u need runescribe from Hearts of stone expansion and the rune on the blade which gives stamina refil whenever he kills, he keeps whirling because every kill keeps giving stamina back
I also have an infinite whirl build but it’s by using the Delayed Recovery with Blizzard which gives infinite stamina when at three adrenaline points. You can just drink some Maribor Forest potions and use the skill that starts you with an adrenaline point. Also it frees up your weapon for Severance.

My first build was a jumbled mess like I do in most RPGs but in NG+ I used the euphoria strong attack build. Want to make a master signs build this time that can still hold its own in combat and has a useful level of alchemy.
Surely with strong attack build you want iris sword for it's juicy big DPS buff on strong attack when charged it would make for a absolutely broken strong attack wep
Recommend you to use cavill build in Griffin grandmaster armor because u will get crzy 100℅ whenever u in irden also with this bonuses u will have about 450% sign intensity so u will get crazy damage even with igni (I do like 1000 damage to 90lvl troops per second, but if troop stands in irden damage is about crazy 3000)

I'm trying to go for a Whirl + Sign build. Would love any & all help in the comments. I'm not too familiar with the Alchemy skills as I never dabbled into that. I know I want attack power + sign as my main point but trying to find a combo is difficult.
I feel like with this builds, you can only really them fully near the end of the game, with tons of grinding, really stops me from wanting to play it for the 2nd, 3rd time.
The best bulid is balanced. Alchemy+attack+signs. Then I enjoy the game. I only played under signs and igni, it was a very strong build but it didn't give me joy. Only attack doesn't make me happy either. I like to use everything, attack, signs and being able to drink a lot of potions. The difficulty level of this game is low, you don't need to be incredibly strong. However, the game for 2015 is extensive and you can have fun creating new builds. The new generation has changed skills. As I wrote before, I only played signs, then played attack, adrenaline and crit. It was fun but only for an hour or two. Then I always went back to a balanced build.. You can have a strong attack, strong signs and be able to drink a lot of potions. I mean new game plus. I would like to see a new generation that changed the difficulty level. I would like the hardest level to be hardcore only for a few players, every fight with bandits should be very difficult. 95% of players would give up on this difficulty but I wish I had a challenge.
Totally agree, always go for a hybrid red, blue build and in B&W add sone alchemy for more potion use. Good damage and it allows me to use all of Geralt's tools. Spamming either signs or one attack type gets old fast.
@@andreasheinze9685 In new game plus you can have a good balanced build for fast attacks and signs. I also currently have 3 alchemy skills, increased tolerance and synergy. IGNI and Yrden signs. 2 neutral abilities. Griffin school gear, but I treat each piece of gear as light armor. For a neutral cat school ability. I think you can do a better, more polished balanced build. I'm not an expert :)
Go with the tesham mutna gear, the invigoration enchanting that gives you vitality back, ekhidna, ekimmara and grave hag decoctions (but you don’t need grave hag, switch to succubus for more damage). Go with the fast attack branch, the first three adrenaline red branch, focus, metabolic control and the rest alchemy abilities with euphoria of course.
I don't know maybe I was just more experienced this time but Death March felt way easier next gen. I was doing lvl 35-40 quest at lvl 12 with no trouble.

@@karol.falkiewicz uhm no. None of the quen upgrades give you increased survivability. It's really pointless to upgrade it unless you're using a sign build.
@Olav Jürgensön even when you're using a sign build quen is pointless to upgrade. You've got Ekidna or Swallow for heals, and with high intensity, the sign blocks plenty of damage.

I recommend u to throw of this two adrenaline perks bcz ur max with adrenaline is +20% sign intensity but if u change them with some sign perks and put big blue mutagen nearby u will get perm +30% of sign intensity
Is the aard freeze build still gimmicky? I remember sometimes it would do like 200 damage while the tooltip said 2000/3000 or something, and those mobs were NOT resistant at all, so never understood the reasoning behind that, kinda made me lose interest.
Better off using the one that increases sign damage based on sword damage. Aard with the last skill unlocked does damage based on current enemy hp, it often hits 10,000 on contract monsters as a first hit

I just wanna know how can I level up my items like armor weapons etc.. ? I have schematics but schematics low level thn me, I am not talk about master to grandmaster I just need to level up my items like level 40 to 59 etc. any idea ?
i still think they didn't go far enough with the update when it comes down to quick use of spells and potions, nobody likes going into the clunky slow menu just to choose a potion and then return to the game, it slows the pace and feel of the fight and feels sluggish. with that said, i do like the new additions to how they made the buttons have a quick function that can be done without the circle menu, i just feel they could have extended it further by far.
Facts, like if u choose the quick sign option, maybe on the quick menu where those signs initially were could be used for extra slots for potions & decoctions. Yeah we might need to use the quick menu that slows time a bit & breaks immersion but I rather have that then continuously going into pause menu

there are specific smiths. Either the one in Novigrad in the middle for swords or the one at the barons fortress for armor. :) Thats What I included up. But I havent used mods, its in NG+ and I was farming, looting and made theb withcer gear better.
Please learn to use the quick access spells watching you struggle through the old wheel menu is painful to watch. Also whats the point of hunters instinct on sign build when you'll never have full adrenaline because of your sword enchantments not to mention signs can't crit unless you're running magic sensibilities.

Whirl tank build is always gonna be the most op build. I just love it mainly cause the ursine armor looks sick on all levels and its fun

I only use dodge and I don’t need more. Occasionally I roll as a gap closer or to get far away. Definitely a bs skill to take.

That build in the video also uses Cat school techniques even though there are zero light armour pieces there.

How you make the armors and weapons of the witcher gear level to level 90, but originally in crafting is level 40?

With the metamorphosis mutation and the right decoctions in your inventory a bleed build with that armor basically makes you a drain tank

its probably because decoction and in the fight it boost up, or because of alchemy mutagen, depends on the build.
I'm currently running a Andrenaline + Sign build. Any tips on what skills to take and what to drop guys? I'll be very appreciated cuz I'm currently doing my NG+ Death March run and I want to make it without smashing my keyboard xD
I recommend u to throw of this two adrenaline perks bcz ur max with adrenaline is +20% sign intensity but if u change them with some sign perks and put big blue mutagen nearby u will get perm +30% of sign intensity

Is the aard freeze build still gimmicky? I remember sometimes it would do like 200 damage while the tooltip said 2000/3000 or something, and those mobs were NOT resistant at all, so never understood the reasoning behind that, kinda made me lose interest.
Better off using the one that increases sign damage based on sword damage. Aard with the last skill unlocked does damage based on current enemy hp, it often hits 10,000 on contract monsters as a first hit

Thr glow is from one of the alchemy skills. Not sure which exact one tho

there are specific smiths. Either the one in Novigrad in the middle for swords or the one at the barons fortress for armor. :)

Its an alchemy skill, i believe its called synergy

Anyone know why I don’t have some habilities like Gourmet or some other after got the next gen update???
i still think they didn't go far enough with the update when it comes down to quick use of spells and potions, nobody likes going into the clunky slow menu just to choose a potion and then return to the game, it slows the pace and feel of the fight and feels sluggish.
with that said, i do like the new additions to how they made the buttons have a quick function that can be done without the circle menu, i just feel they could have extended it further by far.
Facts, like if u choose the quick sign option, maybe on the quick menu where those signs initially were could be used for extra slots for potions & decoctions. Yeah we might need to use the quick menu that slows time a bit & breaks immersion but I rather have that then continuously going into pause menu

I’ve always done a crit and alchemy build used to use manticore armor or cat but plan to make another run after I finish my first run on next gen and make a sign build this time never made a sign build before and I’ve beat this game like 20 times already amazing game but a sign build looks fire

Please learn to use the quick access spells watching you struggle through the old wheel menu is painful to watch.
Also whats the point of hunters instinct on sign build when you'll never have full adrenaline because of your sword enchantments not to mention signs can't crit unless you're running magic sensibilities.
