This is so very thorough - thank you! I've been a wheelchair user for only a few years now, and haven't flown anywhere for 5 years. I'm going to Larnaca, Cyprus in October from Heathrow, with British Airways, and so this is the first time that I'll be flying with my wheelchair.

Thank you. I hope you have a great holiday and this video helps you plan. Heathrow are very similar to Gatwick in terms of airport experience, so you should have no issues.

Thank you so much for this, very informative video. I'm travelling from gatwick airport soon and I'm very anxious about what support they provide for disabled travellers. You've put my mind at rest😊

@@SMC-phuku I hope you have a lovely holiday and I’m glad the video could help. Honestly the staff at the airport are so helpful and there are so many special assistance desks dotted all over the airport.

Hey! I’m disabled and I’m flying for the very first time tomorrow from London Gatwick, only to Amsterdam so only an hour flight but I am so so nervous!!! I feel like I’m gonna pass out with nerves before I even get there! I’m so scared everyone’s going to be watching and looking and didnt know I could ask to board the plane first
This video has been so helpful and so informative thank you so much ❤❤

Those scissor lifts are freezing cold in asia. I moved here because of pain in colder climate. No problem suffering for a few minutes knowing that pain disappears as soon as I’m out in 30 Celsius again

Gatwick sounds far more wheelchair friendly than Manchester

I haven't flown from Manchester, but I have heard that Gatwick is one of the better airports. I have a few issues on previous flights, but was super impressed this time round. I do hope to try and review more UK airports in the future, so you might see a Manchester one soon.
