I got my PD "Daytona" a couple of weeks ago and put a Black leather alligator print strap (from Barton watch straps) on it I have to say I am just over the moon about this watch. This is the only quarts watch I own and I am getting very spoiled to not wondering how off my watch is and never having to think about it's power reserve. To anyone on the fence about getting on of these...do it. It's a really good watch, period. And at less than $70 US it's an amazing watch.
This Pagani Design Chronograph Sport is amazing for the money. Just received my white one yesterday. Detail, finish and materials are outstanding. I've never seen screw in bracelet links that work perfectly at this price. And it has screw down pushers, sapphire crystal, screwdriver, polishing cloth as well as warranty card and manual. It fits my 7 inch wrist very comfortably. If Seiko made this watch it would cost at least 8x more.
I paid $62 for my Pagani Daytona, which is stupid silly for a watch of this quality. Took a month to be delivered, but for a savings of over $26,000 a minor inconvenience! Hey, I also own two Rolexes, which are lovely to be sure, but I'm having a lot of fun with my Panda.
I hear you on that. I got mine a few days ago and it's better than I expected. I can wear it out and enjoy it without thinking about having 26 grand sitting on my wrist!
@@edmund8954 I can't answer for Frederick but I've had mine for about 4 days and don't have that problem so far. The chrono/seconds had is just a bit advanced from straight up noon. (like 1/5th of a second) But it's basically unnoticeable and for the price, I don't even give it a second thought!
Yup I've got two and love Them. I have the 2720k Mecha Q in black and the green 'Hulk' submariner. This one is next on my list as well as the Cadisen Longines Conquest homage.
I've got it. Love it with the Seiko Meccaquartz. Had mine a while and it's a great watch Get some Cape Cod polish cloths if you want to keep it shiny and it will stay like new I'd pay for proper lume. Fantastic value. Its the best homage on the market and beats that other well-known brand..
Thanks for sharing. Pagani produce good quality watch. NH35 is also reliable. It is better to have reliable homeage watch than fake rolex. We have some watches modded/customized using pagani, proxima, san martin, parnis, lagarz as base watch with seiko parts.
I bought mine for less than $70 on the 11/11 sale. I agree with everything you said but the protruding bracelet end links on my 7.25 inch wrist dont wear as well as the leather rally strap I have it on. If you don't mind wearing a Daytona clone it is an unbelievable value.
@@goodlifebdg I tried to fix it by pulling the hands off and putting them back on, but now it is completely fucked. Hands do not align properly and timing is out of sync. Watch is basically useless now. I got a 80% refund so not too much lost. I wouldn't buy again though, they are really a junk watch and overpriced. Looks ok, but I think it is still overpriced and a lot of quality issues with them.
Sounds like a nice strap combo. I need to give it a try. My bracelet still works, but the polished clasp is a scratch magnet, and putting it on a leather strap could be an option. Thank you for watching!
what is the diameter of the saphire crystal... ? which sould be the same measurement as the dial? Because I bought a Pagani, and I retuened ir because it looks like a kids watch. the case is 40mm, the bezel 39.3mm, the dial about 30mm/ same size as the glass. So the original Daytona is the same size?
I now wish I'd gone for the white dial one now as the black dial version can be very hard to read a lot of the time, plus check all those screw pins in the bracelet are tight I nearly lost mine first night out, very embarrassing as the guy I was with was wearing a real Daytona. He just smiled!
The white one's not the easiest to read either! I have to rotate it a little and let the light reflect off the hands to be certain. But then it's the same with any white-faced watch with chrome hands. And yes, one or two bracelet screws were loose on mine too, but I tightened them all down properly when I adjusted the bracelet. If I go for another one, I might use a tiny spot of Loctite on the ends of each thread just to be extra sure.
It's an amazing watch but you gotta admit they don't really care about the packaging here, as shown by that cuboid pillow that holds the watch during transit. I mean yeah it's fine but it's just really cheap. But then again they had to cut corners somewhere. Cheaper $15 watches from China may not even come with a pillow and instead just come inside a flat box, and some don't even come with a box at all, but that cuboid foam just makes the whole package look cheap.
@Moath Malkawi, a bit of a delayed reply, but better later than never 😊 If you are referring to the chrono second hand, then you cannot run it permanently. It will stop once the minute register (a sub-dial at 9 o'clock) reaches full circle, i.e. the chrono and the large second hand will stop in 60 minutes. Thank you for watching! 👍
I wear Pagani Design Panda as a beater watch and get compliments from costumers almost everyday , they think it's worth thousands because looks expensive 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 pops
Got mine yesterday, different box to what you got. A few quality niggles here and there, its definitely not as high quality as I expected. One MAJOR issue I have is that the hour hand gets stuck on the seconds subdial around 6.30 each day. Stops the whole watch!! I think seconds subdial hand has not been applied properly. Not good.. if you know how to fix please let me know
Quality Control is not PD's strongest part. It can be quite frustrating at times. The issue that you described could possibly be easily fixed by a watchmaker, however, I doubt it will be for free. I would get in touch with the seller and try to get at least a partial refund.
@@goodlifebdg No idea, but it can easily happen during the shipping process. My watch is useless now. I pulled the hands off and put them back on again, but now they don't keep perfect time and are always out of alignment. Watch is useless now.
I personally have not used it in the shower, only to wash hands and got caught in the rain once - no issues. But generally I would keep any chronograph even with the screwdown pushers way from the water. Good luck, and thank you for watching!
Grimshaw Grummage the bezel is supposed to be shiny. Seiko buyers have to pay usd 60$ to buy and modify it into ceramic bezels. If you wanted non blink it ain’t for you. Ceramic is highly unscratchable
With your focus on style and subjectivity you missed a rather important shortcoming of this watch: It isn’t a chronograph. I’d does not totalize minutes! Only five minute increments. It is completely useless as a chronograph. Complete fail as both a homage and a chronograph.

Do you have the problem where the second hand gets stuck? ive heard about some people having that problem.

Don't forget Seiko meca quartz not only gives you superior accuracy with fly back but also a 5 tick per sec sweep.

The strap is not good but worn on an old leather tan strap or black it really pops and looks like a Daytona. Its just more accurate. Nice watch

Yes, but you will drain the battery quickly.

It was on the 20 hours for the whole video!

48 mm lug tip to lug tip for the case. Just over 53 mm end link to end link because of the end link shape.
