Thanks mate. I think it reflects what the channel is all about. As for the date, I personally normally prefer having it. I think they did it well in this one too.
I received mine today. The clasp has sharp edges but does not feel bad on wrist. Only when you open it. It wears a little small on my 7 inch wrist. Overall great looking watch.
It is a great watch for the money. You could always change out the clasp, like I did with mine, if you're not happy with it.

Great video, it is actually a great looking watch ! Most of us will never get the chance to own a Daytona and this looks like the best homage I’ve seen . The subdial seconds hand not sweeping isn’t bad due to the size . If I was to go with one of these I’d go with a colour way that Rolex doesn’t do, call me crazy but I’d feel happier wearing one that way!!!

@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Agreed, it makes sense; as its what many watch collectors are looking for on RUclips, honest watch reviews. I don't think No1Viper really works for a watch channel name. Having said that, there are some watch channel names such as The Urban Gentry, jenni elle, Bark and Jack, etc. Of course after watching one of their respective videos it is clear they are a watch channel; however the channel name doesn't initially suggest that. Having "watch reviews" in a watch channel name makes more sense. You will find it also helps with SEO; and the Google algorithms ranking your content; as every time a watch collectors searches on Google, or RUclips for the keywords "watch" and "reviews"; your content will be suggested in the search results; over other watch channels with obscure names. Regards.

Great review. I don't mind the wording on the dial. Rolex on the Daytona has even more text and the logo at 12. Understand personnel preference. Glad you got the clasp fitted so the watch fits well. Keep them coming 👍

I have the black version. It is very beautiful indeed. Negatives-the screw pins on the bracelet came unscrewed, and I had to use 222 Loctite to lightly glue them in. You need the smallest bergeon spring bar tool to adjust the 3 micro-adjust points. Also, when it arrived, the clasp was so tight with nowhere to get a purchase on it. I ended up with the watch being stuck on quite a few times, and only the very smallest jewellers' screwdriver would get it open. That meant that the clasp got scratched, and I asked Pagani to improve this. On the Rolexes, there is a tab to grip the safety catch.
Positives-the diver's extension is really useful. I have the black one, and you can hardly read the red text on the dial. It's very shiny. In Aldi in other day under strong artificial light, the sub-dials started to give almost iridescent shimmering! It's worth going to Aldi just for that. The date is subtle, but useful. 24 hour dial etc also very useful. Overall for £50.00 or thereabouts, which is what I bought mine for, it represents outstanding value overall. And, it's nice just to be able to have a few quartzes around that you can grab and go out with at the drop of a hat.
I also have the Corgeut Moonwatch with the same movement on a metal bracelet. That's lovely too, and has better legibility. However, the Pagani really does look very expensive, and faithful to the 2016 Daytona. Thanks for the review.
You definitely consider trying out one of the glide lock style claps that I have on mine. It makes the watch even better.
I haven't worn mine to Aldi, I'll have to try that out next time I go 😉. It really is great watch for money and your right it does look more expensive than it is.
I have one of the those Corgeuts too, but not on a bracelet. Not sure if you've seen the review I did of that one.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I did see your Corgeut Speedmaster review yes. You are lucky, there was no lume whatsoever on mine. However, mine is all black and white, and it's very easy to tell the time on it, even in low light. It's better than the Daytona for that. I am happy with the Pagani clasp now. I did splash out a while ago on the thinnest Bergeon spring bar tool, and it's been a God-send. With the hot/not weather at the moment, the extension on the Pagani is very useful. Tremendous value, but yes, you do have to be prepared for the bracelet's shortcomings. Regards,
Got one of these and replaced the original bracelet for a rubber strap. Looks pretty good.
They do look pretty good on rubber straps too. I reviewed one of their newer ones that comes with it as standard as well.

I recently got mine and discovered a qc issue. Check all the screws in the bracelet. I found one of mine just turning and not tightening. I tried one of the other screws and it was the same so clearly there was no thread for it to engage with. This meant that potentially the screw could fall out and your watch drop off wrist. I just used a dab of arildite in the threaded hole and it's not going anywhere now. Secondly I think the bracelet clasp is a tad over engineered and fiddly to adjust. I'd rather they went for a more basic pressed steel design and used the savings on decent lume. Other than that it's fantastic and I have no regrets over spending 50 on it. Build quality is easily on a par with entry level Seiko / Citizen but at a third the price. Its a fantastic watch.
You could easily get a brush finish on the centre links if it bothers you. A specialist could do it or place heavy duty masking tape on the outer links and use a scotch brite pad.
That's one of the issues I've noticed with Pagani Design watches, they are quite prone to QC issues. More so than the likes of Bliger and Steeldive in my experience. It's a good job you spotted that before wearing it.
You're absolutely right about what you get for the money though, especially when compared to the likes of Seiko. They just need to improve their lume and iron out the QC issues, to take their watches to the next level though. Steeldive for example have done it the way you suggested; better lume, but with a pressed clasp... Which can be easily upgraded for very little.
I wear Pagani Design Panda as a beater watch and get compliments from costumers almost everyday , they think it's worth thousands because looks expensive 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 pops

You can give the polished Center links a nice brushed finish with a piece of Scotch-Brite in about 5 minutes
Someone else also suggested this. I'm might try it at some point, once I build up the courage. I'm worried about messing it up. Have you done this before?
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR First just remove the band, brush lightly down from end links twords the clasps. You cant mess it up.It always turns out really good. Yes in the last 4months Ive brushed 5 polished center link steel bracelets. From a few feet away they look Factory machined

Would be that clasp also interchangeable with the Parnis clasps?
And if you have the whole carly bracelet, which watches does it fit well? You have the Parnis Gmt, right?

I'm assuming it'll fit in the Parnis version too. But I don't have one to be able to test it.
I haven't actually tried the bracelet on any of my watches to be honest. I just bought it on a whim in case I needed it in the future... It finally came in handy 😉
I do have the Parnis GMT, but I got that worthy a glide lock style clasp when I ordered it though. I explain it in the review, of you're interested.

Before I bought my Parnis watches I was thinking about the same, sending the seller a line about a bracelet swap. But knowing communication with an Ali seller is hit and miss, I never bothered.

I appreciate the comment about having an all brushed bracelet but given the watch is all polished I think that would look very odd. It would need some brushing on the watch head for an all brushed bracelet to work IMHO.

Could you kindly make a brief video showing how you did the clasp conversion and where you made the disconnect at each end of the clasp? I'm looking at buying the clasp only in the link (not the entire band). In the detail photograph on the website of this clasp it does not look like it would mate up to the existing watchband on the glide lock mechanism end. It's really simple. You just remove the clasp right at the end points. If you look at the Pagani one I took off in the video, you can see exactly where I did it up to. Does that make sense?

Do you know if the bracelet you've linked to fits the watch (not just the clasp). Finding it nips the hairs a tad on my arm. Other than that love the watch. Looks the business and and great specs too 👍

i bought one from homage and looks good but has issue because i set the time and date start the clock and i leave at my closet but when got home from work check the clock noticed that the longest hands stopped working but i started it again and its working fine is that normal its not automatic though?

I think it probably will. But perhaps you could ask the seller, just to make sure.
5:35 is that brown spot in the top center of the clasp rust? Or the start of rust?? How is the watch holding up ? Thanks
I don't think it's rust. I've since given the watch to my Dad, and he's not mentioned any rust or anything. So I think it was just a dirty mark.

Is it the standard 20mil bracelet which comes on most pagani watches? Especially the pagani GMT? I ask, as I have a spare pagani bracelet, so thinking of picking this up in sale on a rubber strap. Then i can swap out onto metal when I want?
As far as know it is, yes. I'd suggest just sending a message to the seller and ask them to confirm though.

To be honest, good review - Lume and LEGIBILITY are terrible
The lume isn't great, granted. But I wouldn't call the overall legibility terrible. You can fairly easily tell the time at a glance. Reading the sub dials however is a bit more difficult.
