Absolutely loved this!! I passionately work towards improving PCOS awareness in India and this made me so happy. As a doctor and someone struggling with PCOS herself, I don't think PCOS can be explained any more easily and comprehensively as your mom did. You are doing a wonderful job Sejal. Thank you for this informative video👍

Ankita Borah, The world of medicine has not come up with a permanent cure for PCOS even if people practising alternative therapy claim so, but most of the symptoms related to PCOS can be reversed with adequate diet and lifestyle changes!

As someone who has struggled with PCOS and its symptoms since the last 11+ years, I have tried all kinds of medical treatments- allopathy, homeopathy and Ayurvedic . My conclusion was that allopathy has no line of treatment besides prescribing contraceptive pills or hormones to control the PCOS symptoms. So you get your periods as long as you are taking the prescribed medications. Once you stop them, your symptoms persist.
Ayurvedic treatment however is slower in nature and they actually try to fix the root problem.
Of course like doctor mentioned here, lifestyle change, diet, sleep, stress management play an extremely important role in PCOS management. So each girl has to watch her own body and decide the right stuff for herself rather than simply relying on popping the pills.

Absolutely loved this video 🙂. Please lower the background music even more or best would be to avoid it , because it was distracting a little and was dominating your mom’s voice a little. Thanks ☺️😍😘

We realised about this wen I suddenly gained 10kgs in a month and I started getting my periods every two months. If u could make a part 2 of this I would love it. Chaitra Koneru Hey! Did u suddenly start having delayed periods? Also what about facial hair and other symptoms?
I'm asking coz I also have PCOD. So may be we could discuss... It's scary tbh!

Having PCOD doesnt mean you will show all the symptoms and symptoms will be gradual.
