Beatles concert? This was in 1969 and the Beatles had given up live shows in 1966, save the final spontaneous rooftop performance. It was well known at the time that they were studio only. No one talked about the Beatles playing live in 1969.
Mr. Dixon was always like a caring father, a guidance counselor toward his students. You could find teachers like him a few decades back, but that's very, vary rare today. He was also very handsome!!
That feels like an unfair comment. Can you really say that you know for a fact that the majority of teachers do not care about their students today? Why is it okay to throw teachers under the bus these days? It's a very difficult job, very draining both physically and emotionally. Support for public education and the teaching profession is necessary so that we can move forward.
@@girlfromthebronxbywayofelb7288 Many teachers work hard, but not all. I didn't even get that kind of concern, or help when I was failing my classes in 2007, in Mississauga, Ontario. I had to push myself. If you went to school in that time or especially earlier, with fewer teachers and more students than they could handle you would understand. And no, I wasn't throwing any teacher under a bus. I was just stating a plain, simple, true fact.
It’s hard to watch even though it’s a show we have all encountered someone with this personality just lying about everything always has to 1 up anything cool anyone does but can’t prove it it’s very sad
12:03 Jason's wrong here. At the time of this episode, Willie Brown had already been in California State Assembly for four or five years. He's right that Brown could get himself into anything, though, eventually becoming San Francisco's first, and so far only, African American mayor.
The kids were lucky ... the Rolling Stones tickets were for Altamont!
Love this show
Love the way that Helen bounces on her feet when she gets excited.
They sure drink a ton of coffee!
2024 and the Stones are still touring. RIP Charlie.

That's probably what tipped the ticket man off
The Rolling Stones .
It was the Stones! Why comment if you didn’t watch? They must have said “Rolling Stones” 50 times!
That's the point, he's a liar, but not even a good liar.

Well sure, but could he get Stones tickets?
Why Not The Jackson 5 Or The lately Brothers. Concert.
I know it is Dennis Joplin, but it keeps coming out Janis Joplin.
His real name is Rick Kelman
Thank you, he plays this part well.
Yes he does, too bad he didn't have a recurring role on the show
Makes me wonder if they rhymed his name with Janis's on purpose to bolster his image as a misfit in the mainstream mind of the time.
MissCurlyNYC
The actor played another character in a season 2 episode
5:23 the boys didn't shake hands
