@@RonNehrig Thanks again. I'll try my best to follow your instructions regarding the tire. I'll deflate later tonight and follow your recommendations. I hope to learn more about this bike. I already watched your video twice now haha.
I'm in central Indiana. Take a look at my other videos for the type of roads I've been on. My last bike was an AR Kepler; it was a strong bike at the time, but it is like using just the rear motor on the A8 Dual. I usually ride with the rear motor, unless I need speed to keep out of the way of cars, or, more often, going up hills, so I switch back and forth as necessary. The A9 has a very high seat, so watch out for that unless you're over six foot; it would be too high for me--I like to touch the ground if necessary, off road, on very rough roads, and even stopping somewhere awkward.
Keep them coming ron. I stil got my kepler but selling to upgrade to awd. Im thinking the aniioki A9/TITAN. So wanna see how your doing. Still got your kepler.?
Thanks! Yeah, still have the kepler, might consider selling it, but haven't. I like the Aniioke A8 so far. I ride in RWD a lot of the time, but switch to both for going up hills or on a road where I need more speed... nice to have available.
buyers beware! I own this bike and 4 of their single motor A8's I had several issues from the single motor A8' but This dual motor A8 has been a piece of junk! Have nothing but issues. Aniioki tries to help but cant get it right. I am only getting 38mph out of the dual motor. a lot less then the 45mph they say, You should also do the range test. Iam 160 lbs. 63yo, I ride easy on my bikes, in 2 or 3 speed a lot and only getting 50 to 60 mile tops, also way short of there 100 mile claim. I also had several other issues with this bike. Great video. Do some other tests for sure. Thanks!
Too late to "Beware" I've already got it... 🙂 RANGE My longest ride on this bike has been 38 miles, so my range figures aren't going to mean much yet, though I track all my rides and the Mi/Ah of each ride. I've been doing a lot of zooming on this bike in one wheel drive and two; zooming always killed my Kepler's range (40Ah), so I used to save that until the end of a ride (up to 60 mi rides, and 60mi expected range with 20% left), but not on this. I also have a lot of hills. Over 350 miles my average is 2.25 mi/Ah, which would be 108 mile range with 20% battery remaining, though on some individual rides the calculated range would have been about 70 mi (20% remaining), so I'm not ready to make any conclusions. Based on my Kepler range with 40Ah, I might expect 90 miles from this with my riding conditions (except I zoom more). I haven't done a long ride with the new tires (see "Tire Test" video), I'm wondering if they'll change it. I expect if I puttered around at 20mph pedaling a lot on flattish terrain, I'd get a lot better range, but I don't. Speed I generally top out around 41 mph on flat ground (with speedo corrected-stock tires-10oz FlatOut in each tube, psi between 17 and 28-still experimenting), though I've had it up to 45 with a small hill to start, then it held 45, dropped to 42 at the top of a rise and regained 45 again (stock tires 26/28psi-the most I would ever push them)--("11 Miles of Country Roads" 21:50). If it gets wound up on a very small downhill, it seems to hold the speed, like Rear Wheel drive it can hold 33, but generally tops out at 31 on flat. I haven't had big issues yet, don't know what yours have been; just small things like the bracket on the screen being too weak, and the controller flopping around in a mess of wires (see "Aniioke Clunk Noise" video), which could cause wiring issues and random electrical problems. Hardware version: HV24 Software version: SV43 Date of production: 42024092
Excellent video. Thanks. However isn't the AQ177 too short for you? What is the maximum seat height from the ground? Aniioki publish 2 confusing values. I want to know a real value from the user.
I have the A8 Dual, not the AQ177. I have the seat on the A8 set around 35" (including the extra Gel pad) so I can touch the ground tiptoe, there is some room to adjust down and a lot of room to adjust up. The AQ177 also adjusts up, unlike the AR Grizzly and many other bikes with fixed seats. The adjustable seat was one reason I got the A8.
Hi. I just did a quick test ride last night and I noticed some scraping sound in front and rear tire. Is it the brakes? Also, when I use the throttle or pedal, tthere seems to be a delay before the motor kicks in. Is that normal? Thanks.
Assuming your wheel is on straight, the scraping sound is probably brakes. Loosen the two bolts holding the brake caliper, hold the brake on with a velcro strap or something to center it on the disk, then tighten the bolts. I don't have a video of this for the Aniioke (maybe I should have), but the video below for the Kepler explains it some, at 2:28 min. "Ariel Rider Kepler 1000 Mile Brake Wear" ruclips.net/video/jl_0eas7vig/видео.htmlsi=ouszv2QbQYMIhX5M There is a delay with the pedal and sometimes a delay when the throttle is released (sometimes I tap a brake to stop it). For one thing, this stops the bike from moving if you just hit a pedal when you climb on. I have my PA settings on 0-9, and it turns on in 0 for the same reason. You can play with the Slo Start setting in the settings menu; I didn't go into that much yet because I'm still trying to get a feel for it. I have mine at 0 which is, I think, the default; I've tried it at 1, never tried it at 3.

Thanks a lot. There are a huge number of things I need to learn about this bike. I am just a new ebike owner.

@@RonNehrig tell if you see or hear about the A9 AWD 4800W 26X4.
@@mad151maxx4 Looks like the A9 is in stock on their website. Pretty high seat height. 72T chainring? That should help pedaling
To fix stem loose, you also need to open bolts on fork tubes because that top crown not gonna go down if you open only one bolt on the stem...

I'd check the fenders for the rubbing sound. And yeah I've heard these dual motors take a second to sync up so the start is a bit of a jolt.
@@WV_Smoke These fenders aren't even close to the tires; rubbing is unlikely unless they are really wonky.
