Your words about desiring more time with the Lord when your kids were younger but not being able to make it happen really hit home! I have a 6, 4, and 1 year old, and it’s been a nonstop season. Even though I plan my days the night prior and wake up before everyone else, I still have trouble resting in and with the Lord. But that day will come. I will continue to love on my babies in the meantime :)
It truly is a nonstop season with little ones, and finding that quiet time with the Lord can be such a challenge. Your dedication to planning and waking up early shows your heart's desire, and it's okay to acknowledge that it's hard. Keep loving on your babies and know that God sees your efforts and your heart.
This is wonderful! I don’t know any home school mums as it isn’t as popular in England where I am. So such a great opportunity to see what it looks like. I can’t wait to homeschool my little girl so that God is the centre of our home education ❤ thank you x
i appreciate you so much! Thank you for giving us this peek into your life. Thank you for the washed face and keeping things real! You're a continual inspiration! Also your house looks cozy and great :)
I just love this!!!! I’m 1 year in as a new Christian mom of a 8yr and 5yr old and we homeschool! Such good ideas and seeing what maybe I can incorporate into our lives! Christ is #1 in our home but learning how to balance all the time has been something I am struggling to find!!:)
Such a relatable morning! Thank you ☺️ I don’t like to be that person who comments and tells people what to do, but from personal experience, I sometimes love hearing these tips from others. I think that’s amazing that you have one hour to take a walk outside and I think an extra benefit you could get is taking a walk without your glasses to get the sunlight into your eyes. I just recently learned about this and I started to take my walks without my glasses in the morning and it has been a huge game changer to my mental health. That morning light plays a big role in how we feel 💖💖
I am loving these styles of videos you’ve been doing lately!! They are beautifully done, which is no surprise 😊 thank you for giving us a peek into your days!
Thank you! This was really helpful for me! Getting up before my kids is super hard, but I love how you share how you use the time you have to fill your cup. I can do this in the time that I do have, and that would be good enough. I find I don’t make very good use of the time I have for various reasons. But I can make a plan to change that now.
This was very inspiring to me. Thank you for sharing a morning in your life. I really enjoyed seeing how you go about your morning and also enjoyed seeing you do some chores. Sometimes I watch videos like this before I start my school day with my kids to get me in the right headspace and to know that I’m not alone.
Thanks for sharing this! I got some good tips and I loved seeing your routine and how your prioritize time with the Lord and exercise. Loving this content!
I am NOT a morning person. But I can totally see myself doing most of your morning routine at night. For homeschooling, we all roll out of bed around 8a, have a quick bite, and get straight into lessons. We're done at lunchtime. We have a quick lunch, rest for an hour, do chores for 30-45min. The kids do independent work or rest/play while I prep dinner. We pray as a family, then do a final kitchen cleanup. We're usually done around 7:30p. Kids have free time till around 10p. I have middleschool aged kids.
I loved this video, thank you! (Coming from a home school mom of 3, ages 10, 13 and 15, time is going fast!) what color dark green paint is on your kitchen cabinets and door maybe? Love it!
Just stopping by to say, "Way to go Matt and Lyndsey!" This was very well put together and so encouraging for many mamas. Great content. ~Kristina and Tim

Thank you so much for sharing!!! I am constantly having an issue getting the dry erase marker off my menus though. Any ideas? Thanks!
Did you remove the removable plastic that goes over the morning menu?
Also magic eraser works great!
I use a dry eraser spray
I use a damp paper towel
