OMG IM GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE, theres something so cool about vr, body tracking, face tracking URGGHH i love it sm i also just love watching vids abt new vr headsets n new tech
The reason for the recommended age for vr is somewhat data collection, but mostly that small children dont have motor or external sensory parts of their brain fully developed so things like balance and them understanding their place in 3d space become a major issue. Add the motion sickness most people have their first time and vr not being 1:1 with real life and its just not a good time for their brains. If you just look at a child using vr you notice their physical capabilities regress almost to that of a toddler. I also suspect getting a barely capable of thought creature hooked on that sort of technology is bound to not end well so its just a good idea to not let them have free acess to it before then. Id say the time you spend looking at piece of paper on a desk to complete school work has just about as much impact on your eyes as looking at screens in your free time (not to mention computers becoming more and more prevalent in teaching/learning). Both have you focusing on something relatively close for long periods of time. At least with vr your eyes dont strain like youre looking at something close, youre more looking into/through it like with nvgs.
Also during covid when I had to use a laptop for 8 hours a day. All completely valid points here, small children in VR games get on my nerves because it seems really irresponsible of the parents, I was at least capable aware when I started using it.

Yee, my "Virtual Reality" journey started in 2021 by hauling Rift S from my first job payment. Got so hooked to it, even the Rift S said: "Welp, time to disconnect you from your funzone" and cable died on me. Soo, i had little bit of savings so went with Valve index setup. Plus, since i already managed to have fbt and spare base stations, all i had to get is headset and controllers.

I can’t wait till FBT becomes more mainstream I mean hell even now the wired version of the HaritoraX works standalone and is ‘only’ 200$ still a decent bit for legs in vr but yknow! And with more controller technology too it’s so cool. I don't have 2000 hours in steam vr! You have 2000 hours in steam vr!
Terrifying
you got a nice voice(not trying to be creepy or smth, just wanna tell you that)
Nah it’s not creepy I appreciate it!
I play alot of vr and here are some recommendations
If you want a shooter experience I would recommend: contractors showdown, contractors, and Pavlov shack, bonelab
If you want a melee weapon game I would recommend: blade and sorcery, untill you fall, broken edge, and battle talent, bonelab
If you want a puzzle game I would recommend: I expect you to die (full trilogy), please don’t touch anything, and we are one
If you want a melee punching game I would recommend: the thrill of the fight, and creed:rise of glory
If you want a puzzle action game I would 100% recommend assassin’s creed nexus
If you want a social game with no main objective I would recommend: rec room, or gorilla tag
If there are any games that should be added pls tell me
u forgot the Allrounders.
VRChat (I usally am in) Resonite (Newcomer) and Chillout VR (Dying)
Since Helios and NEOS are Dead.
@@Horsesgamer didn’t include vrchat cause he already mainly knew abt that and im sorry to say i dont really know the other games😅
@@Idk14796 well let's say, Helios, Neos and ChilloutVR where big during the dark Times of VRChat Mid 2022.
Resonite got Born when Neos Decided todo some Shady Stuff that killed it quickly.
Helios Died bc only a small Team of Devs and the Lackluster VR Support and Performance of Unreal Engine.
@@Idk14796 Well ChilloutVR, Helios and Neos went Big. During the Dark Months of VRChat mid 2022.
Sadly Helios died bc to small Dev Team and the Bad VR Support and Performance of Unreal Engine 5.
NEOS Died bc the Owners decided todo some Shady Stuff (Installing Crypto Miners on Player PC'S) but from the Ashes was Resonite Born.
ChilloutVR is Pretty much only has a Small Fanbase i jumped of bc they announced stuff they never added.
But hey VRC is still Popular even if they sometimes do Questionable stuff.
don't know what category you would put boneworks/bonelab in but those games are also bangers
can i make a custom avatar for someone? the payment is that you have to hangout with me.
3:39 ok nightmares, check
Huh, why is the tuft different?
On vr? Cus the model was a premade and I had it retextured and added a collar. There was actually a lot of difficulties getting the model to work that I didn’t talk about in the video and eventually I just gave up on the hair.
Ahhh, I see. Yea, I wanna make my own one now.
:3
Unity is sort of difficult to navigate so beware
Oh, alright then.
Thanks! :3
Good vid lad
This is just a video about me lol
Nice subscriber number
I agree
WHY DOES THE PERSON THAT MADE THE FAN ART ALMOST HAVE MY NAME😭
Its scarily similar
3:35 How dare you doubt me
Literally me frfr
It’s in the name lol
hi
Hi
Just get a pc vr the only thing you have to worry about is controller battery or if you have full body that to
Yeah, I’ve considered it but I like having standalone VR and PCVR access that’s why I use a quest 3
The battery still dies when you use quest 3 on pcvr. Quest 3 has a big battery issue that dies while playing even while charging. It's insane
I sub:3
:3
Can you try my game I made its called Scary Descent its free plzzzz its not a rilla clone.
Where can I get?
@@enanament8161 quest store (applab) or sidequest or itch
@@enanament8161 I made it with godot
Would it be alright if I tried it out on a video? Another person offered me to play their game as well and I’d love to make a video out of it.
@@enanament8161 oh hell yeah of course you can that would fulfill my entire life purpose
i can't afford vr
well just get a Meta Quest 2 Used or a Quest 3 if u don't want Facebook the go for the Pico 4 those are Standalone Headset that work without PC.
And when u have a Gaming PC that is PCVR Capable u can connect these headset to u PC for the Full PCVR action.
For the Beginning those headset are nice u don't need those highprice ones like Valve Index, PiMAX, Meta Quest Pro nor HTC Vive.
@@Horsesgamer the thing is that i can't find even 200$ (in local currency), i really want pico 4, in local currency price difference between quest 2 and pico 4 is about ~30$. i am really broke
@@togler_ then look at the used marked
like the really old quest 2 64gb are still cheap
I’ll never forget the time I spent in vr chat with my friends 🙂
It’s hard too, it’s very fun
Wanna trade hours? 13,300+ hours
Uhhhhh no thanks, I mean I’d love to play the game more but 13,000 might be a little too much for me lol
@@enanament8161 VRC is just shy of 12,000
Meow! :3
3:30 yes i have
What could you have seen that is possibly that cool
@@enanament8161 well ive been a digital 3d cat so that's a little more interesting then seeing someoneelse is a digital

i am trying to make a vr with a raspbarry pi
Oof good luck
That would be incredible honestly lmk if you get anywhere with it
I still need to get the parts lmao@@Campballs
@@enanament8161alright
4:51 lol dork :3
Seeing my own character in vr after so much trouble getting it working was quite the moment for me. It proved that I was actually capable of learning something lol
@@enanament8161 oop- Goodjob tho! :3
play gorilla tag
I have but I really only like it with irl friends cus any time you play online its just a bunch of children that shouldn't have access to VR yet
@@enanament8161 so true ngl
Don't be, it's boring and all the games are naff. Apart from beat saber and half life alyx
It’s not so much the games that draw me in moreso the potential of the technology
Lonewolf, I think that's more opinion based
Ive def bullied u in vrchat forsure
Probly not cus I don’t have all that many hours cus of my internet lol
