Spielberg refused to get paid while making Schindlers list.
He saw a paycheck as being the same as recieving bloodmoney and disrespectful to all the victims.
My respect for maestro Spielberg grew with an additional milliion points.

I watched a documentary on an anniversary of Schindler's death I believe it was and it showed all of the descendants of the people that he saved from the Nazis and there were a few original survivors along with their children and their grandchildren and it amounted to quite a lot of people. They did place stones on Arthur Schindler's grave. I don't think that he thought like the Nazis or had any love for the party. I think he only joined the party to get ahead in business, the same reason he moved to Krakow. I don't think he respected Amon but I do think he genuinely liked him as a guy.they were very similar in a lot of ways with their womanizing and the drinking but they differed in fundamental ways like the pleasure in killing and enjoying seeing people suffer.

The little girl in the red dress I believe represents innocence in the midst of evil. Schindler's List is a wonderful film I think it's Steven Spielberg's best work

spielberg said it represented how the allies knew the holocaust was ocurring at the time and did nothing to stop it. the red was shown in colour as the sign of the blood spilled by innocent lives being completely overlooked in the middle of chaos.

Hollywood Blockbuster ?! You forget to mention the greatest film ever made; 2001: A Space Odyssey. Kubrick & Clarke's meditation on Man's evolution and technology.
