idk if its intentional that you left it in...but when the audio/ frames freeze on deaths/ moves with flashy animations: you need to setup dolphin to "precompile shaders" , as the emulator is compiling that shader at runtime anytime you do a move/animation/action for the first time. You could also go in and do every single move/animation/etc for every character. in the game atleast once, but that would be tedious. There are unique shaders for all the sides of the blast zone as well as items. So basically anytime you do any thing that is a unique shader...it'll freeze like you have happening throughout the video. enabling precompilation will make the issue go away! Its good to do this on your slippi dolphin as well since you could get anyone in unranked, and you don't want to deal with the freezing mid set.

10/10 content. Although the clips you're using kinda suck. There's room for improvement but other than that this channel is great.
For how extreme of a character he is it's actually kind of shocking how it all comes together as a reasonably well balanced package.
One of the best designed characters in fighting games tbh. Aside from Brawl. But that’s cause Brawl is Brawl.
It's mostly due to his recovery being sub par I'd say. If Falcon had a top tier recovery in melee he'd be hard to contest.

i really do wish Melee Falcon had the same QoL as P+ Falcon, the gentleman jab and raptor boost on ledge changes would make him infinitely better

The community has a bias in favor of Falcon (so do I). No one wants him to be less than excellent. No mod (PM, P+, HDR) will allow him to be lower than A-tier. The buffs you would have to give Falcon to not only move him out of D/F tier in Brawl, but to also make him a top tier only affirm what I've said.
Brawl is just the wrong game for him in general, you'd have to get pretty ridiculous with buffs to simply make him viable, let alone good without turning him into someone else. A combo-oriented character simply has no place in a game where combos don't really exist.
Meanwhile, Marth didn't change at all because his archetype still thrives in this garbage engine AND he has chaingrabs.
So much for having a new F-Zero game.
And the Falcon hug part was hilarious.

While, as some ppl already pointed out, there are some oddities regarding the audio, i really think your narration/ voice over has improved a lot throughout your smash bros/ pm character series :) really looking forward to what you will deliver this year, wishing you the best for 2023! ✌

yea, I did a dumb honest content thing. I basically rendered the audio bitrate at a lower quality like a dumb ass LOL. I didn't notice it. You live and learn, I'm not making that mistake again.
Just my honest opinion, I really do love your videos, but this one in particular feels to be edited a little strangely, with abrupt cuts and poor audio mixing. Other than that, your videos are always super fun to watch and always really informative
I just looked at my render encoding settings and for some reason they were a little off, I think thats why some of the things look a little weird at times, especially the audio. My audio bitrate quality was not on the maximum amount for some reason. so yea it kinda thru me off because I don't really notice that while editing, but live and learn I guess.
Fantastic video, only thing to mention was that the audio gets crispy at times.
Line at 2:47 was cut short, and frequently the game audio just sounds crunchy (2:28, 2:52).

Falcon has always been one of my favorite characters in every smash game. He really embodies smash bros to his core. He’s fast, fun, and honest. (Just like you lol). He’s a super smash bros character as far as I’m concerned, and I’ve played f-zero. If Nintendo ever makes that super smash racing game, I almost think it would make more sense to make it a spiritual successor to f-zero rather than Mario kart.
less than 10k subs is a serious crime for a channel that pumps this quality, keep killing it with the content

Yes, but you have to take into account how many times Amsa won in 2022. Quite a lot. I say he’s in the same boat as Icies, Pikachu, and Samus. I think the top 7 are “top tier” and the 4 characters I just mentioned are “high tier”. Luigi and Doc being close to that high tier but not quite.
@@Sprocket_777 Nah I personally think Yoshi is better than Peach, Like for solo maining, since with Peach you need a secondary to fight Puff. Amsa did so well since he was dedicated to Yoshi and Yoshi just takes a lot of time to be good at.
@@jesuspernia8031 I agree with Yoshi's placement and I am a huge AMSA fan. I just don't think Yoshi is "amazing" since he has many weaknesses that can sometimes outweigh his strengths. Still a very good character, but definitely not top tier.

10:11 Fun fact: Hell Hawk was the original name of Blood Falcon's vehicle, but changed it to Blood Hawk because the word "Hell" was too grim.
Whoever made the Hell-Hawk texture knows a good bit of F-Zero lore.

2:37 Falcon’s jab is actually one of the slower ones at frame 3. Sheik/Fox/Falco/Peach have frame 2 jabs.

you didnt mention the fact that captain falcon broadcasts his recovery rolls that can be easily read by attentive players
nair has amazing priority if you shuffle is properly. i recommend getting into a claw grip and practicing that tough fastfall timing. captain falcons nair is actually insane.

Big recommendation: please mix the mic a little more naturally. it sounds pretty harsh on the ears as of right now because it feels very overproduced sounding. aside from that, great video!
Hey just want to put out there that the audio on the video is really hard to listen to in general. The mixing makes it so it's pretty overwhelming hearing music, weird sound effects, gameplay, and commentary all at once. There also is some distortion that I hear sometimes in the gameplay. The commentary also has really loud low end. This plus the really abrupt fast cuts between sections just makes the video really hard to watch attentively. I don't mean to criticize for no reason but I think this is good content being held back by editing. Hopefully you can get it figured out. Thanks,

Some hopefully constructive criticism: I think you should really avoid making representations of qualitative things as facts when they are not consensus. It's an issue that I repeatedly encounter when watching your videos, and always bothers me. For example in this video, knee being the best aerial in all of Melee is definitely not something that should be stated as a fact. I don't even believe it is widely agreeable to say that knee is 100% Falcon's best aerial. Another thing is that I feel like you often make unnecessary non-statements or inaccuracies when talking about certain things (like calling Falcon's ftilt a "really good get off me tool"). I think that it's just better to say nothing about a move if you are not sure how it's used/if it isn't really used at all. I know the target audience of these videos will not care all that much about this kind of thing but it is still worth considering.
Also 2002-2004 tier lists are honestly just nonsense and not really worth discussing imo, the community was not organized at all back then.

I still wanted to offer the creator a constructive perspective that may broaden future videos' appeals, which I believe is a responsible use of the comment section. I don't believe I shared much Melee knowledge here; if you are viewing the comment as some sort of flex, then that is your prerogative, but it is definitely not the case. @@jesuspernia8031 with uptilt rest being true on all the toptiers and killing from 0% on most stages, pound rest being true from 12% onward, and upthrow rest being a "hit that magic smash di timing or die" for spaceys from 0%, I don't see how you can say she's overrated, oh, and bair strings are also true from 15% onward on most characters
