- These videos are an excellent learning experience. I'm doing my best to convey my diagnostic theory to video, which leads to a lot of errors. There is more "movie magic" repair in this video than I would prefer, and lots of diagnostic steps were skipped. Thanks for watching!
Really old here, but your approach reveals the very basic detail of diagnostic work - something beginners should really appreciate. You may find a following.
I have the same car, but an '03 Canadian spec. My AC is not working, now I'll know where to start looking. Thanks for the tips and looking forward to more Aerio content.
Easier to work on than most of the stuff The Wizard usually has you wrenching on😁
Keep pressing Mike, you’ve got potential with your channel!

Nicely done, Mike. I find the diagnostic process to be more interesting than the repair!

Those were a couple of nice fixes, you are lucky lkq had a car like yours, there aren't too many of them around. Surprised to see VDO parts in an Asian car. 👍

My interior fan in my 1977 Rabbit stopped working after the 1 year 12,000 mile warranty had expired. The dealership wanted a ridiculous amount of money for a new fan. I took the motor apart and cleaned the brushes, I never had trouble again!

I have one. An 06 sedan. The only 2 things I hate is for some reason with the entire front suspension done it still has a clunk. And you can not let these over heat at all. They warp the block and head.
Being a Suzuki owner myself, it's a shame that Suzuki abandoned the US market.

I have an 03 Aerio, love that car. I want to do wheels, tires, and coilovers. but I'm not sure what demission wheels I should be looking for to fill up the wheel well, and clear the break caliper. I'd also love to manual swap mine, but no idea how feasible that is on a budget build

What kind of fuel economy are you getting, Mike? I've heard many times that the front wheel drive Aerios did pretty well. I had an '04 Aerio SX (wagon) AWD automatic. I guess the combo of AWD and auto trans really hurt fuel economy... I consistently got disappointing low 20s whether city or highway. I liked the car otherwise though.
I'm getting 30mpg, I drive a lot of highway miles
I get high 20s city with my manual 03 fwd aerio.
oh god i remember my buddy had one of these. such a tiny little slow thing lmao
hit the blower motor two times it will get repaired forever, the ir conditioner only need the evaporator unit, I have a 2006 aerio since new
