    Used it when gordon showed it to you, it was mindblowing how easy it was to overpower

    • @rollinOnCode
      @rollinOnCode 2 года назад

      yeah- attacking the rotator cuff is quite obvious when you think about it. the opponent is literally giving it to you if he is foolish enough to leave the arms there and stay flat in mount or side mount.

    • @nonyabizness2550

  • @zenthegeneral
    @zenthegeneral 2 года назад +6

    Yeah this mount trick is so effective it feels almost unfair. You force them to choose between protecting arm, protecting back, and protecting neck, and it's too easy to juke someone and find an opening through wile & cunning
    Spend a few years on this and I'll get the perfect mount. Gordon Ryan is not just a great jiujitsu player the dude is a clever teacher

    My only thing is when you go with yes cup hand to try to push that down! That’s why people stop trying to do it because when you get with people that are really good you’ll never get that on them. Then it’s always oh well if that happens to go to a straight arm bar I’m gonna do this I’m gonna do that when if they would’ve actually done it right the first time then it would be right and they would not get away and it will be about leverage and it would work always
