Really respect what your doing with your Son, after my fathers passing a few months ago I began to cherish even the little moments. Im sure that he will at one point look back and be grateful for the amazing father he has, keep up the work.
Great content. My dad was big on RC's and got me a TA05 for drifting with him. He passed away before we got to play together though. All his RC's are still with me to this day including the TA05 that I could never get myself to lay my hands on. I have bought another chassis to drift on though.
8 yr. olds are half size adults. Half the distance from their brain to their hands. Half the reaction time. Watch them on a downhill ski slope. Sci Fi if you ask me.
Dielectric silicone keeps those wires good. Although I do not know how often U have to change electronics? My back round racing drones. It can be a pain but it keeps the wires good if you have to constantly be moving wires.
Ethan is taking his summer vacation seriously driving mini z from sun up to sun down it would be cool to hear from him though like how he thinks he got better how he felt about doing good things like that thanks for your vids so cool
Awesome job Ethan , Keep showing Dad how it’s done ! Don’t worry about the guys in front of you and just focus on your own laps like you were doing and you’ll be the top driver in mini Zs as you clearly have the talent !! Keep up the Great Work and Vids !! Stay and Play Safe ! 👍✌️
Kid got skills for sure. Turn-in is a little early, definitely what’s biting him each lap but I respect it none the less. Been thinking about racing here too. I left the hobby a few years back but racing is all I care about if I get back in. I work in Dallas, just not sure what the race schedule is during COVID.
Ethan is just like Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton on his debut in F1 make an incredible start end up on podium in rookie race if you form Ethan into an Mini z World champion he might get a chance to get an taxi lap with an Real racing driver go for it Ethan!
I am an avid Mini-Z collector since day one and my treasure is my Mad Max V8 car which I have 2 and one not open also the Fast and Furious cars! Keep it up I love this and kid keep ripping it! #MiniZrocks
Radio shack back in the day ussd to have these RCs called X- MODS. Those things were awesome. A little bigger than the Minis you have in this video. You could buy upgraded motors, wheels, tires, body kits , lights, and even mini garage tool boxes to have scaled shops. We couldn't keep enough in stock at my store.
Racing the kids helped warm me up on race day. Please they helped me drive better especially n traffic and driving around wrecks. The grown men get mad cause they do really know basics
O sh*t... Just started getting into slotcars and tuning things with it. Now you got me hooked on these. Just the size i like. Gonna show my wife very carefully. Hope our daughter likes it right away. Greetings from the Netherlands ✌🏼
Hi. Easy mod. No parts needed. Is to flip the kingpin. And cut it down a bit. Super easy and makes a great difference in the front suspension. So the ball from the top goes to the bottom, and the pin with the ball on it pops in the top arm. And then you just leave out the c-clip
Awesome job kid!!! Keep it up. We may see him at the worlds one day. Quick Tip: dial back the steering expo a bit on your sons car... looks like it it's a bit twitchy.
I ran stock slash with lcg chassis oval for the first time last night late entry started on the tail of the second heat made 10 laps and broke the right front suspension thrashed for 15 min to fix it and missed checking a tie rod went to the b main ran 2 laps and had the right front not steering....lots of things to learn to get faster and keep my car out of the wall
I mean, one of the greatest RC aerobatic pilots started flying at the age of 3. And in robot combat, one of the highest ranked beetleweight drivers on Botrank is 11. I'm not surprised.
I'd put on a tooth higher pinion if it's allowed, though consistency matters more then high speed heh. Bit more top speed for the flow of the track could help finding throttle balance a bit. Perhaps a bit harder tires in the front & lowering the car a mm all around might help with the oversteer he seems too get on the track or softer tires in the rear then what he has now. A different body that allows for wider tires & wheels all around helps with control as well btw. Wheelbase can make a difference as well for some tracks btw in how easy the cars become too drive seeing as he as a wide mm body its a pretty good setup, just needs either softer tires in the rear or a harder set in the front so its a bit more difficult too oversteer the car, maybe softer suspension plate as well if it's allowed in your stock class.
Mark, are you trying to corner the Revo market? Leave some for the other kids. lol Get an Arrma already. Nobody will think you a traitor. The new Kraton EXB is just what you need.
Cool Guys LOVE IT ALL IAM dedicated to quad and Fpv so I just dont have a moment to break in.. I used to do some heavy slot car stuff. This looks so much more fun!! SUPER CHEERS!!
These are in general a bit smaller while Xmods where closer too 1:25 - 1:26th scale I'd say. At least the first gen Xmods were closer too 1:24th scale. Though they were pretty good with the right modifications, was an old hobby store called atomic mods that used too have pretty high end mods too these & mini-z's between oh i think 2004 too 2016 or so before they closed down their store & went selling on ebay & some minor service stuff & then became atomic hobbies i think. Their modded xmods & mini-z's pop up sometimes on ebay here & there sometimes. Worthpoint has a few saved old listings for a bunch of older atomic mods/atomicmods xmods & mini-z's Like their Los Alamos, Switchblade, manhattan, lightning etc.. Can check out some things via waybackmachine actually. web.archive.org/web/20080215103701/www.atomicmods.com/Categories/Video.aspx some videos they had uploaded at one point too youtube but their channel has been changed too their new atomic hobbies channel with only 1 video on there.
How did they make the transition of the foam track to go uphill and downhill I ordered two tracks and would like to add that incline and decline into the layout. It seemed like a smooth transition where the blocks interlock.
Hey I'm a new fan to the RC world and of your page I just have one question.? Do you ever show your repairs in regular video instead of speeding them up..? Cause seeing work on these RC cars help me with taking my RC car apart and putting in back together but alot of your videos are speeding up so i don't see how you fix certain things..
I have never raced these but all I can say is consistency could be better for Ethan he would be the fastest person ever but I bet these gotta be super hard to not crash.
Really respect what your doing with your Son, after my fathers passing a few months ago I began to cherish even the little moments. Im sure that he will at one point look back and be grateful for the amazing father he has, keep up the work.
Sry to hear that blesses to ur family❤️❤️❤️

I destroyed some adults when I was a kid with my kyosho buggy and they disqualified me because they said I wasn't old enough
Lmao they raged
SO UNFAIRRRRR
@Rc Queen they have skill issue
On things that never happened
Uggugbhu
8 yr. olds are half size adults. Half the distance from their brain to their hands. Half the reaction time. Watch them on a downhill ski slope. Sci Fi if you ask me.
That was so cool your son was seeing the line in the track. Great job.
super cool. love seeing kiddos tearing it up
I learned years ago never underestimate the kids at the track.
Dielectric silicone keeps those wires good. Although I do not know how often U have to change electronics? My back round racing drones. It can be a pain but it keeps the wires good if you have to constantly be moving wires.
Exactly hehe
How do you think Lewis Hamilton got scouted, they followed his career from R/C cars to Go karts
Their concentration and fine motor skills are usually more on point than adults...especially if they are totally into it.
Lol u learn sum new everyday
Rock On Ethan! A great day in a parents life is when your kids beat you at something you thought you were really good at :)
Ethan, man, way to go, I think you should start a youtube channel on how to be a pro at Mini Z!
Way to go Ethan, keep it up.
Pls im car pls

The video and lofi added in the background is just 10/10 i am so relaxed watching.

Daaamn, way to go kid! Its a special day when you whup your dad. Bet hes super proud.
That is so cool! Great father son time and very impressive driving. Way to go Ethan!
The easiest way on how to not break the same parts over and over again is to stop slamming into the wall haha
And good job Ethan on an amazing race
Great job Ethan looks like you are taking after your father. He could be the great RC hype!!!!
Great to see someone out with their son. Thanks.
Well done Ethan 👏 I reckon he'd do even better if you take him a little box to stand on for better viewpoint.
Ethan is taking his summer vacation seriously driving mini z from sun up to sun down it would be cool to hear from him though like how he thinks he got better how he felt about doing good things like that thanks for your vids so cool
Switching to your secondary is always faster than reloading -some guy in mw3 lobby 2019
Have you seen the DIY Mini RC track videos (RCP kits and DIY)? Maybe you can set something up at home to practice for the boys.
I’m glad you got your son involved with rc. There could be a future
Glad to find this channel. Pretty awesome I'm just getting into this to entertain myself. Starting small but working my way up
That steering looks to sharp . What a handful.
Nice to see Ethan beat up that track keep it up kiddo. Nice vlog Mark.

Hi
Hello
Where are you from

Cream lol
These cars look just like the XMODS from back in the day. I still have a few of em.. they had uprgrades for everything on them..
I am an avid Mini-Z collector since day one and my treasure is my Mad Max V8 car which I have 2 and one not open also the Fast and Furious cars! Keep it up I love this and kid keep ripping it! #MiniZrocks
Takes after his dad! You gotta be proud! You know he's gonna be great when he's already whooping but on the track! Great job Ethan!👍👍😎👽🤙

That’s how it goes! Some of these kids are amazing! I don’t own any mini-z’s. Great video!
So sick!! Reminds me of the arcade game that was an overhead view of the track and you had a wheel you would fling like heck for each corner!
Racing the kids helped warm me up on race day. Please they helped me drive better especially n traffic and driving around wrecks. The grown men get mad cause they do really know basics
When you finally showed the old mans that playing games actually
Makes ur skills better
That is awesome 👌
That is great job of experiencing the sport with your sons great job mark and go Ethan 👏
Wow. Your son is pretty good. Its awesome seeing you two enjoy the hobby. How wonder how he would handle 1/10 touring.
O sh*t... Just started getting into slotcars and tuning things with it.
Now you got me hooked on these.
Just the size i like.
Gonna show my wife very carefully.
Hope our daughter likes it right away.
Greetings from the Netherlands ✌🏼
✌🏻😎🏴Thats cool mark. You got a good team of racers on the go.
Go Team Santa Maria 👍🏻
I didn’t know about these, that’s a cool series
congrats little dude... keep killing it...
Get him an lm chassis with a modified motor and teach him how to drive he will be unstoppable.

If there was PRO's there, someones been smoking the good stuff. 4 crashes in one lap and still whooping the comp, lol.
ikr, pro's hang out at the rc shop all the time
@@thesi99 LOL, good one, "PRO" means sponsored, I was sponsored for 11 years, we dont hang out at the hobby shop, we get our stuff for free.
Mark i kno your one lucky proud af dad.. that was skillz for reals!

Sweet little cars. First time seeing them.
I don't know much about this but everyone there looked like they didn't know what they were doing lol
never knew people were this passionate about fucking RC cars bro
Thats awesome man!!! Nice Vid!! 👊🏿😎✌🏿😁
I’ve never seen mini Z before. Are these like the old school xmods?
Mark, are you trying to corner the Revo market? Leave some for the other kids. lol
Get an Arrma already. Nobody will think you a traitor. The new Kraton EXB is just what you need.
Reminds me of my favorite classic arcade game "SPRINT"
Cool Guys LOVE IT ALL IAM dedicated to quad and Fpv so I just dont have a moment to break in.. I used to do some heavy slot car stuff. This looks so much more fun!! SUPER CHEERS!!
this guy reminds me of will ferrell's character of the dad at the barbecue when he says, "run some clean laps! get it together!!"
lol
Looks like the old radio shack xmods. Body looks like it attaches the same way and 2 triple A's on each side.
I loved those cars!

You can always ground your son from the cars if he keeps beating you. lol. Those little cars look fun and the body details are really cool.
I remember this when I was 8-10years old. Didn't think this was still a thing. Lol and the cars are badass nothing like it was 22 years ago.
That’s so awesome get it Ethan!!!
How did they make the transition of the foam track to go uphill and downhill I ordered two tracks and would like to add that incline and decline into the layout. It seemed like a smooth transition where the blocks interlock.
I just subscribed, I’m in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧. Loved the racing, your son is sick at driving RC’s 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤪
Great job Ethan! Mark its time to get some RCP track at home let him practice.
The best days in rc recovery was now.
You guys running on the smooth side of track or the rough side?
Great vid' ... The student becomes the master, but not in everything :)
Random question. Why you guys run counterclockwise. Seems weird when running counter clockwise lol
He came ready to RACE!!🤣
Ethan, you are the man!

Hi mark how is that new X MAXX doing ya
My son was 6 when he took second place in the state finals in Florida 1:10 scale touring. I was shocked how upset some of the men got.
Put a smile on my face
Go Ethan nicely done 👍🏽
