Every year, I hear more and more about Chiang Mai. I didn't get a chance to visit here the last time I was in Thailand, but I'd definitely go back to visit so I can have all that good food!! I agree that Thai people are super duper friendly.
Nice video thanks for sharing. I dis-agree that Nimman is the best location to stay, It is 800 meter north of the airport runway and flights non stop landing and take off between 6 AM and mid night. if you stay off the main road Nimman by few hundred meters east or west, you will not hear the noise that much so you are not in the flight path. All the other reasons really apply to everywhere in Chiang mai near the old city
Thanks for watching :) I think next time we visit Chiang Mai, we might try some other places. But we actually loved the vibe in Nimman and the airplanes didn't actually bother us so much. The kids loved watching from the balcony anyway.
Nice - those are some pretty convincing reasons to go there! All 5 really are quite relevant to any digital nomads who might be looking for a place to go in Thailand!
Yes this is an awesome guide for digital nomads for sure, you sure know what we need haha 👌 I love how you put food as the first reason too. Multilingual people, convenient transport, really can't ask for more!
I love visiting places with amazing and cheap food options. It's one of the best parts of visiting a new place in my opinion! Hopefully one day we'll be able to travel to Nimman as a family!
another place we want to check out, not to live but just to visit. everything you showed looks great and definitely confirms our reasons for wanting to visit. lots of quality info here! thanks! ~sara
Oooh the fooood looks so good! I want to have some too! Really good tips ! You convinced me to move to Chiang Mai! I'll be there as soon as my business runs! :D
Awesome informational vid, but with your classic dash of humour, "just gotta know what ya getting"... Walter would be proud 🤣 And that grill is gangster! 😂 In all seriousness though, this does sound like someone we should be checking out, so cheers for the info 😉
Having all of that fresh and inexpensive food nearby is appealing to me, being the foodie that I am. Do they only have Grab there and not Uber too? How long did y'all stay there? This will come in handy when we get to go full-time...maybe we can stay in Chiang Mai for a spell!
Another awesome video, the food looked so amazing, Love your videos so informative. 4 fillings? wow.. Sweetie take better care of your teeth... want to save that beautiful smile of yours.
Wow! We are definitely headed for Chiang Mai someday!! It looks like a really cool place to be. Looks like everything you could need is there. Wow $108 for 4 fillings? Did that come with novocaine? 🤪 JK. I'm sure it did. My deductible in Vegas cost more than that. Thanks for sharing!
Wow, this was surprisingly pretty interesting! Love to see other aspiring creators on youtube, like you! I've just finished a video about mental health and I think you could like it! If you've got better things to do, never mind :D Have a great day!
Hi, I plan on moving to Chiang Mai in a couple months with my baby. Do you know anything about childcare there or what's it's like to get a babysitter. Like are the pretty trustworthy? CPR certified? Any suggestions on places for child care or reputable sites to find a sitter.
Thanks so much for watching and how exciting.. we absolutely loved CM! Unfortunately, I don't have any solid advice on childcare or babysitting as we never used these but I found these 2 places that might be worth checking out when you're there according to a popular expat forum www.expat.com/en/business/asia/thailand/chiang-mai/20_nursery/ Best of luck!
@@HangryByNature Thanks for the response. I reached out the the nursery and they only charge $157USD a month, in the US you'll be paying more like $1k a month. Now only if I can find a one bedroom in CM that has a bathroom with a bathtub for my LO. I'm super excited and up for the challenge.
We are only self cooking haters 😂 this place sounds perfect for us... readily available delicious foods. Friendly people who speak multiple languages, great accommodation and markets sounds like a great place to live for a bit. By the way it was really cool seeing you guys on nicks video and I think that's the first time we've heard Andy speak what up bro 🖖🖖
Haha yay hi 5 to self cooking haters... the only place where I qualify as a cook would be in jail. Cos, like, food is the worst there. But I like to eat. Haha yeah Andy's generally camera shy.. he gives me death stares when I try to film him. I wanna see more of Yen on camera too! Andy says "supppppp" back.
dont interact with strangers 🤣🤣🤣 , interesting usually no one mentioned no 4 - medical places 🤔, i guess it does make sense incase you ever do need it , touchwood - dang nice teeth 😬😬😬😬 id so go on a tuk tuk 😁 tuk tuk tuk
Haha trust me, I'm probably the only person that needs medical places because I'm so accident prone. That info is for klutzy people like me. PS. Andy's working hard on editing the Vidcon vlog... our life is a backlog atm!
Hangry By Nature haha thanks but dont stress yourself 👍😆 you guys doing this full time vs me who has 1 day weekend 😂😂😂 - whatever makes you guy happy 🙏😁
