    2016 TaylorMade M2 and the R580xd with upgraded shaft has been the longest so far for me.
    Still waiting for the new one to come out that makes me spend money.
    Great video.

      Can you explain why? Also what shaft stiffness? I'm genuinely just curious because I am actively going to be hitting these clubs and want others opinions as well.

    They have the Qi10 for use at my driving range. They are all noticeably scuffed along the crown. They look very shabby. I assume because of the full carbon crown as opposed to the titanium crown on the Stealth 2.

    • @2ndswing
      @2ndswing  3 месяца назад

      The crown on the Stealth 2 is also carbon, just has a glossy finish as compared to the matte finish on the original Stealth

    Way too much variance in this guy's delivery and strike to draw any meaningful conclusion, especially with range balls. His first ball with the stealth was 158 bs with 109 chs, and then 114 chs with 168 bs with the QI10, which is all due to his variance. The reality is that the carbon face was a marketing gimmick (visual tech) because the MOI of the OG stealth and Stealth 2 was lower than the SIM2. The QI10 because it has more carbon than the SIM2 is more forgiving in terms of MOI. We are at the point where it takes 5 or more years to see meaningful differences if you were actually fit for a driver rather than bought one off the rack because your favorite tour pro plays one.

    I'm about to buy a driver and I have been using my dad's 16 year old TaylorMade Burner Superspeed from I think 2008 lmao. It's a 10.5 degree stiff and I hit it well! (Well is subjective but it ranges from 240 to 275) Butttttttt I did just go for my first fitting. My spin rate was average from 3000 to 3800 with a club speed of 115 to 124 with that club. I had NO IDEA that spin rate translated to distance (embarrassing LOL).
    So again back to my fitting -- I tried out a Titleist and Ping and the spin rate for a 9.0 and 9.5 degree extra stiff went all the way down to 1800 to 2400. Then I went for the fitters demo of even newer drivers and tried out a Ping (the one with the cool grooves on the top, and the Titleist, i dont remember the name sorry), I hit like 20 balls each and they were just alright. Some hooked left, some hit the heel and went skyhook to the right, and some straight. The pro handed me the 9 degree TaylorMade Qi10 LS and I completely smashed it with a straight to slight draw around 275ish in air. Prior to 2nd hit, he altered the club to a 9.5 degree but draw face and it went ever further with a very slight push to draw. His literal response was "Yeah okay I've seen enough, this is it" -- I don't think that was a salesman pitch because this guy helped me customize my irons for very very very cheap. So I think this Qi10 is the real deal.
    It felt like I was hitting butter lol. As someone who SHOULD golf more (I probably go 3 times a year and am around an 82 stroke) that Qi10 was easily the best feeling driver I've ever hit in me life. Not even bullshitting lol. It's so clean and smooth. Granted, it was only 2 shots but they were insane. He can give me a $100 discount to get it for $500, but I'm about to try out my buddies Stealth Plus, literally today at the range to see what the differences are, because money.

      Should have hit the monitor, almost every shop has one before you buy the club.
