I bought this car play 6 months ago , I love it sounds great easy to install. Fits perfect in my 2016 tundra . Look amazing fits like it belong their perfect!!
Just make sure to ground it with the wire they give you, or black screen issues. Just put the g13 in my 2018…. Pretty sweet… still getting used to it. Overall stoked though… basic install. Rock on!
I put a 9” pioneer floating wireless Apple CarPlay touch screen in my second gen last summer. Works amazing. Love it. Has the ability to tilt if there is sun glare. Can watch RUclips etc on it. No issues. No sun glare either.
I installed one of these in my 2018 Tundra and cannot get the mic to work on phone calls unless it is within 4-6 inches from my face. Basically holding it in my hand. Tried built in mic and same result l. Also adjusted mic gain to max in factory settings. Tried a second mic and got same results. Any ideas?
Any update on how this is working? I just installed a similar unit in my truck and after a few weeks of haveing the audio cut out all the time, and Bluetooth dropping in one part of the city, I sent it back. It sucks when you get in your truck to drive and you don't have sound, without riping the dash apart. Did you need to upgrade the backup camera? Were you able to map all of the starting wheel buttons? do you have good call quality with the mic and apple carplay or android auto? This unit has better looking packinaging than the unit I had but its a few hundred more so I'm tempted. Its a bummer I missed the discount code.

Did u have any problem with the front door speakers ? Mine has only bass frequencies coming out and also on the eq the rear settings controls all speakers front and center does nothing so if I mute rear all speakers mute . Weird and kinda ruining the experience for me

Did it keep the steering wheel controls?
Does the CarPlay gps navigation still show up on the digital gauge cluster behind above the steering wheel like the stock unit?

does the new head unit support SirriusXM sattelite radio? Does steering wheel control work?
Did you get an answer about SiriusXM working with this unit?
@@alantoledo7743 I did. there is no native XM app in the head unit. Instead, I use my iphone and use the XM app on my phone.
