I'm with you on the throttle. It's way too mushy from the factory. However, tow/haul fixes that issue. Maybe a bit too responsive so I can see the benefit of having it be tunable.
Agreed, I have one on my wife's 4runner and it have been flawless for the past couple years. I like the safety side of this being it's a family vehicle while adding better response. Easy to use also!
Loving the mods you are putting on this Tundra. I’d love one of those throttle enhancers for my 2008 Tundra with the TRD supercharger - right now you really have to push that pedal. That CarPlay system is slick as well.
I hate wireless Apple Carplay or Android Auto. In my truck I get a constant disconnect since it says Wifi interference. It got so bad for me I had to use my cable and do a hardwire connection.
Yes, waiting for the supercharger install and the rest of the mods you have planned. The throttle mod is cool. I am afraid of what that 100% throttle is going to do once it is supercharged 😅.

CarPlay would be a nice addition to factory system but almost $700 is steep considering there’s no screen or anything like that. But maybe I’m cheap.
Yup. I put the pioneer dwt-3800 9” floating screen to my 08 sequoia. Now it’s a 2022!

Yea for sure. And the tow haul will hand out in lower gears too. So you’d have to turn it off at highway speeds.

The nice thing with this is it gives you the option for wired or wireless.
When using the CarPlay does navigation still show up on the digital gauge cluster above the steering wheel like the stock head unit?
