Great video! Though Kev more resembled my experience. I visited last Friday - July 28th- (even saw Marvin but I felt to awkward to say Hi) and got the experience The Refuge. My Experience: The staff is awesome and super friendly. The climbs are definitely challenging. I didn't manage any pink climbs, but did achieve my goal of getting a few of the red tags. The visor is a lot of fun to climb. Did three of the climbs around it and the core required was a bit more then I was expecting, especially the green v1. The cave section and (I believe you call it the shield section, where you did the black and blue climbs in this video) was a bit steeper then I was expecting. I do wish they had larger slab section, but that is just because I prefer slab climbs. lol One thing I did not except was that the walls are very smooth. It was hard for me to smear on the walls there, as I was used to textured walls. Definitely got to make sure you flag or use the feet holds if your not used to climbing on smooth walls. So overall... if I find myself in Vegas again with some free time to climb, I'll probably hit up The Refuge again.
Woohoo! Great review! You should have said hi to Marvin! And yeah, the Visor is my favorite feature on the Refuge BECAUSE of how much core is required. Having smooth walls helps improve your foot work! Thanks for the long awesome comment!
Thank you or speeding up the send gos instead of cutting the footage in between crux moves! Gives us the option of slowing it down if we're really interested in a climb.
Thanks man! Solution comps were great, but they give me gnarly big toe blisters. Scarpa has been my go to since then. If I had to compare the two, I'd say the Dragos are softer and more tactile. I also like the toe hooking rubber placement on the Dragos better. Thanks for watching!
Shoot sorry bro, I archived this video already and can't look up the name of this song for you at the moment :( If I remember tomorrow I'll dig into the archives for you!
OG crew still the best to watch. Keep 'em coming Miguel!
Thanks Pierini! 🙌
Great climbs! Awesome job by all. I was rooting for Marvin since we served in the ARMY together - Chris Williams
Great sesh. God bless America... lmao
😂
I see we're keeping the classical music on climbing trend going ⭐ great climbs, great vibes and great video!
Yes! The music is so calming! 🎵
Great vid as usual Miguel! Seems as if you and Marvin need to have a championship duel next!
Haha, I'd be up for that! Hey ready Marvin!
Nice, not sure why my comment came through as “user…” lol! Keep it up man. Trevor
CLASSICAL BANGERS 😊
🙌🔥🔥
stiff pinks on this set - awesome to see all the different beta i can experiment with. fun vid, Miguel! 🙌🏽
Thanks for watching Davis! You da man! 🙌

Oh cool! Good to know that you prefer the speeding up over the cutting! Thanks! 🙌
Fun episode! Great sends, especially the last one as you all were able to do it with style!
😻
I see you've been rocking the Drago LVs - how do they compare to the Solution Comps you used to wear?
Awesome video as always!

What is the music in the beginning?
