Neat, have you already picked out which concert? The most recent New Years one would showcase practically every single Hololive talent that has a 3D model in a bunch of group songs and doesn't have much talking portions so I think that'd be a good one to start with.

Moona's "Perisai Jitu" is another masterpiece after her "High Tide". And another recommendation for Extremely amazing singer from Hololive is Ayunda Risu "ALiCE&u". Those two are really talented when it comes to singing

Moona Hoshinova and Suisei Hoshimachi, often dubbed as the Hoshi-clan members are absolutely some of the most talented singers in Hololive. Lorewise, Moona is basically the moon goddess while Suisei is a shooting star, hence the moon and meteorites in the background.
If you want more Moona, her 3rd original song which she did in her ID language is the next one for you. You'll hear her sing with a breathy style different from other songs that you've heard so far.
For Suisei, Stellar Stellar is beyond a MUST WATCH! You'll get to hear the different ranges she can go and finally get a better idea behind her unique style for singing certain notes. Then there's also an ACOUSTIC version that had just come out last month. It's a whole different vibe but it took STELLAR STELLAR to a whole new level😃

Two favorites Hololive singers, both are rarely interacted because Moona only speaks Indonesia & English, and Suisei only speaks Japanese but this cover feels like they're made for each other so well.

for more Hololive i would recommend "Suspect" sung by Aki Rosenthal, Roboco-san and Nakiri Ayame. And "Kiseki Musubi" a song from Hololive JP 4th Generation the Original can be found on Amane Kanatas Channel. (Or a very emotional live version on Kiryu Cocos Channel)
I think moments like these are another good reminder that Suisei's application for Hololive almost got rejected. Couldn't imagine Hololive without our Suisopath Tetris Queen lol.
For recommendations I'm gonna go say Tokino Sora once again. The one that started it all deserves to get some more recognition too and she has tons of great songs to listen too.

@@britonro7975 CMIIW, she was accepted but she had to use new vtuber identity. She pleaded cover to keep her original avatar that's why she couldn't get to Hololive so she was sent to INNK instead.
@@MrMilchaq Nope, she was rejected multiple times, but she kept at it and discussed with them and managed to convince them to give her a chance. What that happent, what you said did happen indeed, they wanted her to change at least her name, but she managed to convince them she could be their cinderella story, a small indie who got into a big company through hard work and dedication. Her arguments was really sound as many new vtubers look up to her and find the strenght to push through difficult times because of her story.

The latest Bae x Towa cover was absolutely breathtaking. "Blooming in the Mud" with Hakos Baelz and Tokoyami Towa.
Other than that, seriously, CHECK AKI ROSENTHAL. She's from Hololive too and her original "Shallys" is so incredibly underrated.
I greatly recommend Hakos Baelz from Hololive English. Very good singer and great vocal range.

When you are ready do go even deeper, I recommend watching "The Story of Hoshimachi Suisei" by Aburage115. It's pretty long and doesn't fit to this channel, so do it on twitch or off-stream. It's absolutely amazing and touching story of how Suisei got to where she's at today. It is a pretty unique one for 'agency vtubers', chock-full of ups and downs.

I cant agree more with this recommendation, it is a beautiful story about passion a undying will to keep going towards one's goal and never give up and it the same video that made my feel enormous respect for her as a person right after i fell in love for her singing voice 2 years ago when i just discovered her after holo EN got me to the rabbit hole, especially Ina (proud takodachi from the very beginning) and been supporting her ever since then as as a only exception apart from faithfully supporting only my oshi which is Ina'nis so i cant agree or recommend ani video more then this if you want to know more about suisei's past and personality 🙏☺️🙏

The Next Hololive Talent I'd suggest is 𝗔𝗸𝗶 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗹. In her song 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮𝙨 she sings in ELVISH, an original language she made up just for that song!
The musical video is crazy good produced and she has amazing dancing skills!

Totally agree: Aki stays eclipsed, especially when generations of new talents keep having it easier due to the pioneering works done by her and her peers. "Heroine Audition" is a sweet song with a video that showcases her dancing skills too, expressing this sentiment.

I'm glad you came back to Holo Indonesia, there is some real talent there. Moona now has a 3D model, so she has been doing singing AND dancing on her karaoke streams, and she has some real talent for it! I'm looking forward to Ayanda Risu's 'Alice&U' cover. It keeps making the poll but coming in second.
Suisei has had a model for a very long time, and performed live 3D concerts. No matter what, they are performers first, and entertainers second.
One thing that makes this cover so crazy is that Moona (who is from the Indonesian branch) largely doesn't speak Japanese. She's been working on her Japanese, but in general she knows less Japanese than most of everyone in Hololive, including the English branch and the rest of the Indonesian branch. Despite that, her pronunciation here is very on point (not perfect, but very good). If you ever get into reacting to actual clips from these hololivers, Moona has a really interesting friendship with Pekora (JP) that highlights the language barrier, and the clips of their interactions in Minecraft are great

Stella Stella for Suisei would be amazing, but gonna recommend a Reona cover from Ninomae Ina'nis called " Nai Nai" when you do react to it, I would like you to keep in mind that she did all the illustrations herself as well as all, and I mean all the vocals, even the very deep ones, as for others, AZKi's "Inochi", Minato Aqua's "Aqua Iro Palette" and maybe some group songs like "Kiseki knot" from Amane Kanata which has all the generation 4 girls, "Journey of a thousand years" with gen 1 en girls, Gura, Calli, Ina, Ame, and Kiara.

Well I've recommended Amane Kanata on the last several Hololive videos and even though you haven't reacted to her yet, I'm going to go with a different one this time.
Ayunda Risu only has a single original song, Alice&U, but she might be the single best singer in Hololive from a technical perspective. Even Suisei is absolutely floored by her. After hearing Risu perform Alice&U live Suisei commented that she wanted Risu to teach her how to sing and called Risu the Celine Dion of Hololive.
She's also done flawless covers of other member's songs including Stellar Stellar (which you need to react to still) and High Tide
Still amazing you've only done one solo song from Suisei (your first) with her featuring in multiple duets, but at least it seems drilled into your head to listen to Stellar Stellar. For Moona originals - Ai no Chiisana Uta & Perisai Jitu.
Also gonna keep pushing for Ayunda Risu's Alice&U & Calli's Red even though I'm sure you're already aware.

You should give ALiCE & u from Ayunda Risu a listen next. I dare to say its by far the hardest song to perform from Hololive. Risu also did a cover of Stellar stellar by Suisei back then and it goes really hard. Her voice range is just so out of this world that it feels illegal for Hololive to have her as one of their talents

you mentioned the male branch of Hololive Productions (Holostars); if you would like a gentle introduction to the male branch with a familiar face, Calli worked on a track with Rikka from Holostars Called "Spiral Tones". Rikka is absolutely worth checking out and this track is quite different in vibe compared to most of Calli's work.
These two harmonizing results in an INSANELY amazing... "texture", I want to call it. Something about their two voices just overlaps in such a specific way that gives me shivers. That, and Suisei going low always does things to me to begin with.

I am once again recommending Ai no chiisana uta from Moona Hoshinova cause I love this song.
I KNEW uphold love this one! Definitely one of my favorite Hololive covers to date. Suisei and Moona for so prefecture for this song! And yes, absolutely check out Stellar Stellar next, followed by one of her newest songs "Shakunetsu nite Junjou(wii-wii-woo)". Suisei has been killing it lately, and even has a second album coming out at the end of this month with a live 3D concert soon after a well, so there's LOTS of Suisei originals to enjoy!

Something else I've been meaning to tell you is as far as Hololive is concerned, you don't have to worry about copyright because they have Fan Work Guidelines that explicitly allow people to use those music and stuff in covers and reactions. You can check out the terms on those website (en.hololive.tv/terms) as there a small handful of songs that aren't allowed for use as well which will also be handy for you so you know what to avoid.

Glad you are enjoying the Hololive rabbit hole! I could recomend any number of songs from the talents (check out Stellar Stellar as soon as you can!), but the ones I will suggest the most will be the collaborations between the various members as I feel these really make everyone shine even more. One of my favortites is "id:entity voices", performed by the (at the time) two generations of Indonesian Hololive members, including Moona! 6 in total and they do a beautiful job! Also recommend "Non-Fiction" by Holomyth if you want more from Calliope, and highly suggest "Rise" by Holocouncil, the "Kohais" of the Myth members! Looking forward to more of your reactions to Hololive performances!

You're going to be down this rabbit hole for a long long time, some of us have been down here for years now, its scary how much content these girls put out. There's still so many of them you have yet to discover, hear their music and fall in love with (in a music sense). Definitely check out Stellar Stellar from Suisei, it's absolutely stunning. I also recommend checking out Risu singing Stellar Stellar, it blew me away to hear her match Suisei's vocal control with how difficult that song is.
Also as my pfp will give away I'm going to completely shill for Hakos Baelz (Bae). Her singing is amazing. She has come along so far in the year and a half she's been in HoloEN, and the power in her voice can easily match the best in Hololive. She even recently just had a cover with Towa (Blooming in the Mud) which showcases this. Floored me.
But there's so many talents out there that need to be heard, Amane Kanata, Tokino Sora, Ookami Mio (Howling is an absolute banger!), I could go on.

An absolutely tremendous, underrated cover you should check out is "Black Sheep" covered by Towa. One of my favorite all-time Hololive covers.
About vocal range. Almost all said about Risu. That's obvious and right choice. But Hakos Baelz also good at this. She even have her little show where she playing 6 sisters with difference voices.

For a recommendation with a similar vibe where you can see Suisei completely take over, Suisei v Towa cover of Haiiro to Ao, it's on Towa's channel.
Another absolute banger that's also somewhat similar, a duet, is a cover from Suisei and Sora from a D/Zeal song. Both are MUST WATCH, they're sublime. Bonus for D/Zeal because it's quite 'old', from 2020, when Suisei was still blossoming as the amazing singer she is today.

i heard "high tide" and "Perisai Jitu".. it's Moona hoshinova original songs.. all of it is amazing.. you have to react to it.. many hololive song and cover are amazing.. there is kobo kanaeru cover called "happy" she did recently that was great too.. from holo live i usually watch from the Holo ID side stream because i'm from id and usually when i'm on youtube they always around streaming.. but i watch almost all of holo live clips.. so far i know there are HoloEN, Holo ID, Holo Star.. still new to it too.. just fall to the rabbit hole last month.. btw have you ever react to rainych? if not you have to react to her.. she did a lot of japanese songs and animes cover.. all of them are amazing..
to answer your question if there are male vocalist vtubers, yes there is! and they are part of Hololive Production named Holostars. They have 21 members right now both JP and EN male vtubers, they are also overflowing with talent and I do recommend you checking out Kanade Izuru (he's my oshi) from Holostars JP, the most youngest in Holostars if I'm not mistaken. I highly recommend you check these amazing lads, you're gonna be blown I swear you will!
You mentioned range? Gotta recommend Amane Kanata then. That woman's got some of the craziest vocal range in all of Hololive I think

I recommend Oozaru Subaru from Hololive. Her journey to becoming a vtuber is amazing. Check her cover of "Fansa" by honey works.
A simplified version of her Journey into Hololive. Subaru is a normal girl, with some difficulties growing up. One day her house burned down, so she started working part-time to support her family and herself. She wasn't a good singer nor a good dancer, but she applied for Hololive as a Virtual Idol. Miraculously, Cover Corps signed her in as the 2nd Generation of Hololive. She started out as a normal woman, not knowledgeable in the idol culture, the gaming/anime culture, and the streaming culture. She tried very hard, slowly learning how to sing, dance, the culture. She doesn't have the vocal talents like Suisei nor the dancing skills of Aki, but by sheer determination and hard work, she has found a balance between those two, and found her place within Hololive as one of their idols and personalities. She even made enough to send her parents on a vacation trip to Hawaii as a gift. Her journey is remarkable, it makes me root harder for her. Check her out. Her songs are pretty good.

A late comment, but regarding the harmonizing; I believe they recorded separately (I think Suisei talked about it). It was during covid when no one could travel into Japan.

One thing about Hololive is that while they are idols, and it shows on how amazing they are at singing, they are Vtubers, so they focus more on regular streaming topics: playing games, chatting, collabing, some karaoke streams as well, and the odd variety stream here and there, like watchalongs, ASMR, etc.
However there is a branch of Vtubers called "Vsingers", which, as the name implies, focus mostly, and sometimes solely, on singing. Their channel is filled with covers and original songs, and the few streams are mostly or completely karaoke streams. A few Vsingers I would recommend are the Vesperbell girls, Akatsuki Luci, Hachi, Fuji Aoi and MaiR. If you want one in specific, I recommend Brave it Out by MaiR. It's one of my favorite songs by any Vtuber.
Btw they did record it seperately i believe
It works because they know music very well and can sing in perfect pitch

You've gotta listen to Suisei's cover of Cinema by Ayase! It features two of the Holostars, which would be a great segway into their world.
I'm bias but I recommend Nekomata Okayu and Amane Kanata.
Okayu recommendation: Flos or Dokuhai Swollow.
Range monster Kanta would be: The Narrow way cover.
Or her own original song: Wonder Ladder.
So yes you really need to react to Stellar Stellar, but also check out Ai no Chiisana Uta by Moona. And also as I know you like both Jpop and Kpop genres of music you really really need to look into Takanashi Kiara preferably starting off with Hintori for older stuff or Do U for newer tracks but also Kiara has done a Duet with each one of the Myth girls that was a huge milestone she wanted to hit once she joined Hololive.
And if you really want to see a bit of Chaos from the Grim reaper herself, man really check out Myth or Treat by all the EN Myth girls as she's stated she wrote that in one night with the help of a little Liquid Courage.
