As of 2021, this is the only *dedicated* high-speed rail line in a natively English-speaking country. The US has upgraded high-speed rail, but no dedicated lines as of 2021. The rest of the UK as of now also only has upgraded lines. Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia do not have high-speed rail.
That mate is a really cool video. Are you stood anywhere near Maidstone Services on the M20. Often drive that way heading to the coast and sometimes where HS1 and the M20 run parallel sometimes see the odd Javelin and Eurostar. Only briefly though as they’re going just a bit faster than me lol.
@@lazerjet899overshoots8 Hs1 line was designed with large bends so the train can go max speed. UK's hs2 trains plan to go double this speed, will be the fastest operational trains.
So strange seeing freight on a high speed rail line. Even in the US, seeing a freight train in Kingston, Rhode Island or Princeton Junction, New Jersey on the northeast corridor (fastest section of rail in the US), is really uncommon to see.
Luka Mitrovic no there are 3 non refurbished eurostars andcthere are 8 refurbished Eurostars in use but the unrefurbished ones are only used if a e320 or a refurbished one is not abailable

Brilliant video! 😁
8:53 love that little pause to look at a plane :D
Amazing how even thought the trains are travelling well over 150mph you can still hear the pops and zaps of the pantographs arcing as it rushes along!
That 2-Tone on the Class 373 6:09

I like how Eurostar go faster in this country and France but the uk has got not got big bends. Great shoots (love that double javelin)
I mean small bends

Amazing This Video 👍💯
17:07 why was that there
Its a class 92. Was designed for going through the tunnel
Yo do u want freight to go to France. Looks like u don't want to
@@Aviationfan2022 boats seem more logical than trains given how much more they carry though
It’s the Yiwu-London rail service. It goes all the way to from London to china and is on HS1 to get to the Channel Tunnel

What's your favourite tube line in London?
12:01 7:35 why did it have pantograph up in the centre on the coupled train
I don’t know. It is pretty weird.
@@nathanwaters1078 indeed. It wasn't the first time it mentioned this. In another video at Boxley tunnel it has the 2 centre pantographs up at night
Class 373 has a good tone when passing through but class 374 doesn't have a better tone
Aren't the Eurostar E 320 trainsets designed to operate in areas where the Eurostar E 300 trainsets cannot operate such as the Netherlands?
Yep
The E320 are based from the German ICE by Siemens?
