2024 KI8BQ 2nd annual Memorial AM get together Hamfest cool vintage ham shortwave radios electronics

Saturday, July 27th at Five Pines Ministries, Berrien Center, MI. KI8BQ AM Get together Memorial Hamfest put on by MIDWEST CLASSIC RADIO NET (MCRN) and BLOSSOMLAND AMATEUR RADIO ASSOCIATION (BARA). Great event. Perfect weather. Picked up a few goodies. Lots of nice classic Ham radio gear. This event takes place the last Saturday of July.

Hi, I am the guy that sold the radio to you. The radio works. Make sure ANL is on, AVC is on, CW/SSB switch is in CW/SSB, RFG is all the way up, IFG is all the way up, Standby Receive Switched to Receive. Looking at the rear the speaker hook up is Ground is the right screw and 8 ohm is the middle screw. It spent over a week last winter on my bench removing failed mods, getting all new caps and getting it working again. Very sorry to hear your having trouble with it!!!!

There was actually a lot of good things there. Get you away from the house for a while. If you buy something there's a project, and maybe so you can keep an active mind.
