Maria,. I'm so glad you decided to sell your plants in the mail. I also love your prices. I have never ever been able to find a desert rose that wasn't grafted. They always get sick or grow very slow.
Your prices are great because they are seed grown. Seed grown plants are much stronger and healthier. I'm so very excited that you decided to sell this way. Your going to make so many people happy with beautiful plants! 😀

Pat Bowman Also very important recovery is very important after repotting desert rose doesn’t matter how old they’re six to seven week under roof not direct sun ☀️ not rain also no water for the first week after that you can water one inch of the soil one inch of the soil only when dry about every five to six days after the recover you can place the plant outdoors and water until the water comes out of the pot and after water when the soil is totally dry thank you Maria’s garden

Thank you Maria - I am a subscriber in Australia - north west Queensland - I am always trying to swap our time / season zones to use your information. We are now in spring (Sept 1st) and the ' wet' season , if we get one.......is a couple of months away. One of my roses is blooming so beautifully, but it is very ' leggy' . I see with this video, I can be brutal and prune to my hearts content.....just get it done before ..........any 'rain' - many out here wish we had some of your Florida rain. You always say you don't know "everything" ....what you do impart to your viewers, however, is gold. Thanks again

Maria you have the best videos on Desert Roses but now you have me hooked on them. My question to Maria or anyone out there who may know. If I put my desert roses on the porch so they stay dry can I trim them anytime. It is almost June in central Florida but here you never know when it is going to rain. It may go for weeks and then rain for a week straight. The temperature right now is either really hot but can dive to cool for a few days. I am leaving in June to go back north and not coming back until mid September so I think it would be too late to trim that late in the year as they are about to go dormant. Just don’t know what I should do. How long does it take for them to put out a new shoot? Any help will be appreciated.

I don’t think it matter which kind of cinnamon you apply. So use the cheap stuff.

Great video! I live in Melbourne, Florida. I have a large Desert Rose that is in desperate need of trim. Is the time of year critical for a big trim since our climates are so mild? If timing is everything when should I trim? Can I take up to 1/3 of the plant without any problems or is this too much? thank you

Maria, from all of your desert roses what variety, color, blooms the most?
For example, the double layer flowers vs the single petal, or what color, etc.. ur answer would be very helpful.
    Hugs !

Hi Maria I live in Florida like you I believe you said you lived in Punta Gorda can we prune all year round here or should I wait until October or November thanks for all the great tips

Anita Velde Hi Anita you can trim you desert roses any time but you need to make sure it’s not raining for about a week ,after trimming you need to wait about a five to six days before apply the glue ,the glue it’s very important to seal the steam after cutting because the rain can get into the steam and kill the plants thank you Maria’s garden

My desert rose is very full, in fact so full I’m concerned about trimming to cause splits. Should I cut the trunk or the leaves? This plant is very strong and produces tones of leaves and growth in its second season I’ve had it.

Alex North hi my friend the best thing is to trim you desert rose during fall season about one to two inch of inch steam and apply cinnamon after a week after the steams are dry you need to seal with the titebond lll wood glue waterproof available at Lowe’s or Home Depot thank you for watching my channel Maria’s garden 🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊
