Thank you for sharing! Visiting Tokyo soon and i'll definitely visit the shops you showed us!
Thanks for watching! Have fun checking out the stores!
Thank you! This video helped me find a vintage Japanese base set booster pack. I literally just bought it from MagiPoke! Went to so many stores today trying to find one today.
Cool, awesome pickup! I hope Magi didn't rip you off ^^
@@Dark_ibex I got 10% off the listed price as they were doing a 10% off everything promotion. Still probably paid a little more than I should but wanted it anyway 😋
Keep up the videos man love them you should be far bigger and will be
Thanks so much!
Awesome video 😊
Good vid ! Where did you get the Lugia ( I can't hear clearly the name of the store )?. Thanks 🙂
Question: Mate and I are going to Japan in Feb and we are not sure where to get a good quality card binder like VaultX, Palm Gaming, Ultra Pro, Gamegenic and etc. Any shops that sell those In Japan or should we bring one with us?
great vids
Thanks Viv!
Glad you made this video. I don’t have to go to Shibuya now haha. Not a fan of Shibuya. Kinda overrated…
Plus golden week gets way too crowded 😅
Btw: That Ex keeps going up in price. 👍
Haha I mean it's a fun place, but I don't go very often. The Dragapult? Saw that and sold it to make some money back on the packs since it's not a card I collect.
@@Dark_ibex Yeah. Dragapult
I was only able to hit up Poke Center, Mint and Mandarake when I was in Shibuya. Would’ve explored more if it wasn’t shoulder to shoulder busy 😭
Haha yeah, Shibuya is pretty crazy...
Awesome video ! What do you do for a living ? Do you live in Japan ?
Do you know why the pikachu at 4:01 is so cheap in the market, it’s the card from 2000
It is not cheap, it is massively overpriced for the condition it was in. It's not a rare card; it doesn't matter if it's old. In that condition, it should have been 500 Yen tops.
I can’t believe some of these prices! I’d love to chat to you about some of these stores, is there a way to contact you if you don’t mind?
Thanks for watching! Don't get blinded by the prices; it's always a question of condition and 99% of the cards I inspect I never buy because they are too expensive for the condition that they are in. Also, I'm very sorry, but I don't have time to give individual advice other than what I show and say in my videos.
I am doing the Same challenge! I really like you Channel, it helps me to fill my binder :) what is the best area to buy cards in your opinion? (Price/condition)
Awesome, have fun with it! There really isn't one best area or one best store. They can all be good or bad, and finding the right cards for the right price is mostly luck.
Thanks! Keep doing, I will follow your journey
how did you find all those card spots? i was in japan and didn't know where to go to buy them
Search in Japanese.
Google search in Japanese. But you'll also find most of these if you search in English.
is there english versions for one piece cards?
Great video! Also loving the mystery buys lol. Do you know if shinjuku has any good card stores?
Thanks! Check out my past videos. Made one in Shinjuku and will probably go back at some point.
Wait was that base set Charizard ¥540,000 🤔 🤣
No rarity.
Holymoly that pikachu stamp box less than 13000jpy?
Most likely some damage on that card.
Your english is good
Thanks!
That Modi store's price's are hilariously over priced 🙄
first store is 3x price. at leastr. shshhhheeshh
It always depends on the condition. Judging whether a price is fair by watching a video or seeing pictures is impossible. I always try to get that point across. For example, the Lugia I bought was not 3x market; otherwise, I wouldn't have picked it up. A lot of cards were definitely up there though. The thing is, you have no way of knowing that it's "3x" by just watching the video. That's why I always preach to inspect every card.
