I've been using one for about 9 months. Got it after seeing your unboxing video. I've loved it the whole time! Thanks for reviewing stuff that other channels ignore. 😀
I saw a previous video where you showed the Black Canyon and the Badlands bar from REP that you are doing future videos on. I am excited to see those and from what I've seen you will be the only reviewer with a video on them just as you mentioned. Seems kinda crazy to me that there are no reviews on 2 worthy bars from REP. Did REP send them free, I hope they did? You deserve it, get those videos made quick before a paper reviewer out there makes a video on them. Take Care
I had to buy both, but they are really nice. Got one in nickel and one in black chrome and both finishes look fantastic. Unboxing vids are shot, just need to edit and post them. Prob one next Wed and one the Wed after that. Can't wait to start using them when the new rack finally gets here.
I looked at several bar reviews, went with one that was recommended. It showed up damaged, the company replaced it, that one also arrived slightly damaged. I took it apart a few times finally got all the clips in the right place, but by the third time of taking them both apart, I gave up. I ended up buying Ironmaster's bar. I swear that's a sleeper product, I didn't even know they made one. That said, there's not enough reviews of basic bars, so thanks for doing this!
Sorry you had to go through all that! And yeah, everything Iron Master makes is pretty solid, not surprised the bar is good too. Glad you found a good one!
I saw your video on 7 companies to watch this year. Honestly I have to say I disagree with you on only 1 company and that is ATX, simply because they are going to be too expensive for 80% of people who have home gyms. They are gonna be more expensive than Rogue and I don't see Americans paying that kind of money on foreign made equipment. I just think people will just buy from Rogue (American Made) when it comes to expensive home gym equipment. Sure, when they first start out curious people will buy some things but then I believe ATX will fizzle out by next year or the year after. I could be wrong, we will see but right now after seeing some of their prices, I believe they will have to go lower with their pricing or the 20% of Americans that can afford that high tier of pricing will stick to Rogue. Now, if they drop their pricing some I see them cutting into Rogue customers and staying around but we will see what happens. Take Care
We will def see. Prime seems to be doing just fine and they are priced sky high! I also think people are willing to pay for things that are different and better. It will be interesting to see for sure. Especially, like you say, after the new car smell is gone.
@GymCrafter I've used both. And the rep has noticably more whip than the titan. The rep is still a great bar but if you could save 30 bucks and get a better bar why wouldn't you
@@dustinchestnutt4502 Interesting, I didn't have the same experience. Have you used both for a time? I actually like the Delta knurled better, tensile strength cant' be felt and is meaningless at this price point, and for me, the Titan sleeves stopped spinning smoothly fairly quickly.
@@dustinchestnutt4502 "Better" is subjective. Awesome to have your perspective, it's for sure different than my experience. I would say that 99.9% of the people buying a bar like this will never lift enough to feel a difference in whip, nor would they know how it did or didn't help them.

Awesome! That's great to hear!
Rep fitness has out in all the efforts into their barbell lineup. Awesome video.
Thanks!
Great Job!!!!!!
This bar is perfectly fine for even the most experienced lifter.
99% of the population could use this bar for life

Agree!

Cant wait to see them, I think they are Very Sharp!!!!
I'm thinking about buying the Badlands simply for it's looks

The Basic Bar. It’s a clever name. Curious how it has held up
Held up great. For GPP for your average home/garage gym guy, it's a fantastic bar.

The titan performance series bar is a better bar for 30 dollars cheaper
How is it better?
@GymCrafter higher tensile strength slightly better knurling all while being 30 dollars cheaper
