Most of the time the midrange is where it's at. The absolute most cheapest stuff is maybe 2$, the midrange is 4$ and the bergeon is 40$ (numbers won't be accurate but the ratios probably will be). If you just stay away from the worst stuff and go slightly more expensive on some more important items you'll be fine. Throw in some STL files too!
This is true. I am probably going to showcase a range of options for all budgets. Which stl's are you talking about? Some of them come from the usual places, but the cleaning machine stuff I haven't released yet. Thank you for watching!
I’m so glad I found your channel! I was getting a bit discouraged! Couple of questions… 1) are you concerned about the mainspring getting plastic shaved into them? 2) do you think you get enough wash flowing through your baskets with the sides being solid? And 3) (for right now lol) will you share the seller you got your oils from? I’m very jealous of all your super cool 3d printed tools and holders! That’s way cool! Thanks! Oh! Could you maybe do a video on how you dressed those tools that weren’t quite right? I’ve sharpened up my screwdrivers but would like to see your methods!
Thank you for the kind words! To answer some of your questions, 1) No, I have cleaned up the prints so there shouldn't be any plastic transferred. 2) there should be plenty of wash going through the baskets. Since it creates a bit of a vortex, it will pull the cleaning fluids down and out. 3) DSWatchShop is the seller I got the oils from. I do plan to make some videos on dressing both the screwdrivers and the tweezers. Stay tuned!
It's good you mention re-dressing, it does make a big difference to how a lot of these cheap tools work
Absolutely! If you can modify the cheap tools a little to make them work properly, they work just as good as the expensive sets.
Love your ingenuity. Just found your channel today. Keep it up.
Thank you for the kind words! I just want to help others figure out how to use the tools they have without skipping rent! Thanks for watching!
Ah, great channel, I've been looking for something like this. Thanks for the shopping list
Stay tuned, I have a lot more to go over! Thanks for watching!
Where was he two years ago when I had started to do watches ;-)
Honestly, I was getting started on my journey as well! Thanks for watching!

I looked at the printer and the idea was inevitable! Also, the stand I 3d printed cost me maybe 20 cents in material. Thanks for watching!
Ok, I'd like to see you work on that Caravelle with the square 12, 3, 6, 9 on the dial @ 52:52
It looks like it would be a pretty good one to work on. Thanks for watching!
Do you sell any of your 3d items?
I might be convinced to print some for sale. What did you have in mind?
@@TheBrokeWatchmaker I really like your parts boxes… even the screw top one (maybe a touch bigger).
