Wow, I've been to the boardwalk dozens of times and these guys were just sitting up there. I wish I knew while they were still there, I was such a big fan of the Rockafire a few years ago. I guess this just goes to show that a piece of history could just be around a corner or right above you and you'd never know.
absolutely incredible it really makes me wonder how much the rockafire characters are scaterred around the globe and there could be one anywhere just in storage very cool video!
I knew about Billy and Fatz in the laser tag arena, and I'd seen a retrofitted Rolfe turned into a werewolf on a dark ride there. It's cool seeing everyone else!
@@manyescoolDhamxhdeshds There's probably only 2 rides he could be talking about. "Haunted Castle," and "Ghost Blasters." I haven't been on Haunted Castle cause the lines are always so long, but I'm pretty sure that would have a werewolf

There might be many shows out there still in storage as Showbiz didn't have a destroy all animatronics policy. More often than not they would just auction the shows off or send it to a new store. Heck, SPP/SPT/CECE didn't have a destroy all animatronics policy until around 2004 and even then many show still slipped through the cracks
Lots... Don't forget that CEI had almost a hundred leftover Rock-A-Fires when CU happened. These were sold off to other restaurants and theme parks all over the world, so a few of those shows or at least characters/props from many of them must still exist.

I can’t see Billy Bob and that hybrid cyberamic animatronic anywhere. All I see is Fatz.
The hybrid cyberamic is the one closest to the camera/stairs, the eyes give it away. I didn't see Billy Bob.
Damn I go to the Boardwalk like every summer, had no idea all this cool stuff was there!

Any news on who now owns these characters, and if they are being restored? They looked pretty beat up, but still far from irreparable.
They were split up.
Rolfe, Beach Bear, and Fatz were restored.

The animatronics were most likely from a Showbiz from somewhere else outside of Santa Cruz
