    I've seen all the highlights
I've heard the song (in memes, see motivational lizard)
    I've watched the whole documentary.
I've never seen a tribute this well put together
    Let's Go Mets.

facts about reyes the virus 1) 2007 and 2008 biggest collapses in MLB history Reyes hit under 200 during both collapses and made everyone lose focus and urgency. 2) the blue Jays were under 500 with Reyes then they got rid of him and they started to win and went to the ALCS 2 years in a row 3)Rockies got 16 games worse after they acquired Reyes 4)The Marlins got rid of Reyes in the first year of a 5 year contract 5)2017 mets underachieving disaster 22 games under 500 with Reyes 6)2018 once again disaster, overall 30 games under 500 since Reyes returned. 7)last game Shea stadium history loss with Reyes. First game citi field history loss with Reyes. Reyes is the rare athlete that infects guys around him his laughing and overall personality doesn't allow guys to have the right mindset to perform at their highest capabilities which is why the biggest collapses in history happened with Reyes . it's been 2 decades of the same disaster result. Mets were in the World Series in 2015 before he showed up

Wish I was alive for '86 born in '89 , kinda remember 2000. But '06 and '15 were incredible rides, '15 probably being the most fun out of all of them. That whole second half of the season was full of memorable moments and stories I was convinced that was the year. Only thing that would've made it complete not counting the World Series, was Bartolo Colon's homerun that same year instead of the next. Thanks for bringing me back.

I am glad to see this team restoring its power from 2006 and growing back into a playoff competing team.I believe in 2016 we can do as well if not better then 2015 even though we are losing some big names we can still do this. Always brings a smile from ear to ear seeing this! Would do anything to do it over. It had it all. The teary Wilmer/Wheeler trade that wasn't. The Wilmer walkoff. The Cespedes trade. Cespedes 2nd half tear. Murph's postseason rampage. Harvey. deGrom. Thor. Matz. Big sexy. Truly something special. I believe that there is an alternate reality out there where the Mets win it all that season!

The week of July 24-31 was the turning point of the season.
July 24-acquisition of Kelly Johnson and Juan Uribe from the Braves.
    July 25-Johnson home run.
    July 26-Uribe walk-off double.
July 29-Wilmer Flores and Zack Wheeler are supposedly traded to the Brewers for Carlos Gomez, leaving Flores on the field crying.
July 29-The Flores and Wheeler trade has fallen apart, and will not happen.
July 30-Mets blow a six run lead in the last three innings in pouring rain.
July 31-Moments before the trade deadline, acquisition of Yoenis Cespedes from the Tigers.
    July 31-Flores walk-off home run.
Also, many people forget this, but in between the failed Flores-Wheeler-Gomez trade and the Cespedes acquisition, the Mets were close to acquiring Jay Bruce from the Reds, but the Reds backed out at the last second.

Im a Mets fanatic and a huge David Wriggt fan. Im a native NYer who moved to Hampton Roads VA a long time ago. My kids went to the same high school as Wright. I feel for Wright and having his career stolen. The only thing i dont agree with is what attracted me to the video, "Star can barely walk again.." Hes had 1 lamenectomy surgery. This isn't as big as even a fusion. He walks and more, just fine. Unfortunately, playing baseball was robbed. I know a little about spinal surgeries too. Ive have at least 7 lamenectomies, 5 fusion surgeries. My entire lumbar region and part of thoracic region is fused. I also had a PSO surgery on my spine, much larger than a fusion. Not responsible for his retirement, David in the past had neck surgery and rotator cuff. I also had my cervical spine fused, 2 rotator cuff surgeries on R, and complete shoulder replacement on the L. I dont say this to compete with his ailment. It's not a competition you'd want to win. However, to show I am knowledgeable on topics. You dont need sensationalism like "Wright's future to walk in jeopardy." Its horrible what happened to him, stealing him of a HOF career and my heart goes out to him and all those who suffer, at any level, from spine surferies, deformities.

I went to KC for game 1. (Forgetting that the Mets have NEVER won Game 1 of a WS.) 14 innings behind the Mets dugout (okay, row 20, but still the right section) in the rain. I still can't believe Alex Gordon's ball went out. There were balls that were crunched and didn't reach the track, because of the weather. Such a bummer.
And yet…the thrill of my lifetime. Thank you, Mets.

Watching in 2019. Great video! I remember rushing home from work most nights to watch in August and September. I don't think I missed a single inning. It seemed like Cespedes hit a home run every time the Mets were behind. I was hyped for the WS win in 86 but in terms of the actual season, this is my favorite in my lifetime.
